Suga begins to read the comments his fans are leaving, responding to their questions and engaging as much as he can. While scrolling for different questions, one comment stood out.

Fan 100k: Whaaat? There is no way our Suga cannot be in a relationship.
Fan 5k: Some fans at Lotte World spotted his rumored girlfriend.
Suga speaking: Yes, I do have a girlfriend. But many of you already know who she is. So please don't send her hate; she's been dealing with that for six years.
Fan 1M: Your rumored girlfriend is y/n?
Fan 999k: Y/n? She's your GIRLFRIEND????

Suga thinking: I knew this would happen. Why did that fan have to ask me that question if it would lead to this? Suga thought that revealing his relationship with y/n would cause a stir, but instead, positive comments started pouring in.
Fan 1M: I'm really glad you're dating her. As your fan, I support whoever you choose to date. Also, I followed y/n here and didn't realize she commented on one of my posts.
Fan 1: I feel deeply betrayed.

Suga began thanking his fans for staying with him during the LIVE. He really appreciates his fans and hopes they will also protect y/n from the haters. Suga wraps up the LIVE and notices his girlfriend's page gaining a lot of followers.
"Huh? This is strange. Why am I suddenly getting so many followers? Oh my God, my likes are going wild right now, and the comments are pouring in. Let's see, it says here that some of his fans came from his LIVE, and they chose to follow me; that explains the increase. Wow, I have over 99+ unread messages in my inbox. It's going to take me ages to reply to all these messages from his fans. Suga, you're in big trouble; because of your followers, my phone is lagging. I guess I need to get a new phone. With the money I save from my first job, maybe I can buy myself a new one," y/n said, staring at her phone.
It was already 10pm; y/n turned off her light and went to bed.
"I feel y/n will be upset when she sees her follower count. Speaking of her, did she message me? Oh, she did, around 9:30pm."
The message reads: 'Babe, are you serious right now?' What's up with your followers following me at this time? My phone was vibrating nonstop. You know what's the worst part? It was lagging, and I have over 99 unopened messages from your fans. What exactly did you do? I better get an answer from you tomorrow morning when I see you at the front gate. Anyway, goodnight.'
"I knew she would be mad, but I couldn't help her. Just wanted to let the world know that this guy right here has a cool, amazing girlfriend."
Suga checked the time and went to sleep.
Hours earlier at Namjoon's apartment, Taehyung is debating whether to stick to the plan or back out.
"So you're saying that step 3 would involve controlling her life, forcing her to cheat on Suga with you or Suga to cheat on her with someone else? That sounds ridiculous, don't you think? Also, don't Jin and y/n have feelings for each other? Why haven't they started dating yet?" Taehyung said, crossing his arms on the couch.
"Because I caused it. I know those two kissed six years ago when we were all on vacation in Jeju Island. If you compare 6 years ago and today, I did have a small crush on her but eventually forgot about it," Namjoon stated, making eye contact with Taehyung.
"You? A crush on her? How did that even happen?" "Honestly, I'm not sure how it happened. When she began hanging out with us, especially because of Jin, I felt a spark. One time, her smile really warmed my heart."
Namjoon blushed while saying this to Taehyung, who noticed.
Namjoon, who was still daydreaming, snapped back and said, "After earning her trust on Sunday at Lotte World, I'm confident that with a bit of 'friendship' she would come to me for help. Plus, I'm the smart one in this group. Think about it, after her last class ends tomorrow, she'll go to the 7-Eleven near her house for her first shift. This could be another chance for me to drop by randomly and, you know, chat. Speaking of her, I'm getting a call from her right now," Namjoon said, showing his phone to Taehyung.
He decided to take the call in another room, leaving Taehyung behind.
While Namjoon was doing that, Taehyung walked around, looking at what was on display until something caught his eye.

Y/n: Hey, I apologize for calling you out of the blue.
Namjoon: No problem, I wasn't busy.
Y/n: That's a relief! I'm calling to return a book I borrowed a month ago when you lent it to me.
Namjoon: A book? I do not remember lending you a book.
Y/n: Yes, you did! I think you forgot because you were pretty drunk that night. You told me to 'use this book for studying for English.'
Namjoon: Was it a green book with notes in it?
Y/n: Yes, that's the one.
Namjoon: You don't need to return it; that green book is old, and I don't really need it anymore, believe me.
Y/n: But it feels wrong not to return it to the original owner.
Namjoon: Fine, I'll take my green book back; stop nagging.
Y/n: I'll keep nagging you; I enjoy annoying you. Before we hang up, can you come by tomorrow where I'll be working?
Namjoon: Uh, okay.
"I apologize for the wait; I just wrapped up a call with y/n. Do you still—" Namjoon began, but paused when he noticed Taehyung holding something. "Namjoon! Why do you have that?" Taehyung asked, gripping the item tightly. "I have no idea what you're talking about." "Namjoon, stop pretending to be clueless with me." "I'm not pretending; let's just forget about it. It's not a big deal." "Not a big deal? Are you even listening to yourself?" "It's not a big deal to me, so why do you care that I have it?"
"This belongs to y/n. I'm not leaving until you explain why you have it." "I decided to save this item so that when my revenge plot develops on August 25, it will reveal y/n's weakness. I'm planning to live stream the whole event for everyone to see. I've already answered you; are you happy now?"
"Yes, I'm somewhat satisfied with your answer, Namjoon. But I think you're going too far. LIVE STREAMING? You sound insane." "Me? Insane? Are you siding with y/n?" "No, not at all." "Then, will you be part of my ongoing plan for steps 3, 4 and 5?" "What choice do I have but to be your servant?"
In the end, Taehyung decided to tell Namjoon that he would still be involved in his wicked scheme.
Namjoon, grinning with satisfaction, instructed Taehyung to return the item to its rightful place and ushered him out of his apartment door.
Once Taehyung stepped out of Namjoon's apartment, he began walking towards the stairs.
"Am I making the right choice? I only agreed to assist him with his plan for revenge on y/n because he said she needed to be removed from the situation for everyone's sake. I'm not the villain here; Namjoon is. I'm just a person helping him with his shady actions. But live streaming the whole thing? He really went too far. That item? Where have I seen that before?" Taehyung pondered as he walked to his studio apartment.
When he got to his studio apartment, he sat at the dining table, trying hard to remember where he had seen that item.
"If I recall correctly, the item was a souvenir that y/n got for herself to have a piece of Jeju Island. One thing led to another, and she mentioned she couldn't find it. I can picture her face so vividly, filled with tears. All this time, Namjoon had her item, but why?" Taehyung said softly as he prepared to brush his teeth and fall asleep.
