Synopsis
Lee Su-hee didn’t want to date anyone. But when her rich best friend dared her to ask out the three most popular guys on campus—and promised a lifetime supply of free alcohol—she couldn’t say no. The first rejected her. Relieved. The second rejected her. Perfect. Then she asked Jang Jun-tae—the guy who’s been rejecting everyone since high school. Unfortunately… he said yes—just to watch her face when she realized he wasn’t rejecting her like the others. Suddenly, the whole campus thinks she was toying with his feelings. Jun-tae refuses to let her back out and publicly declares they’re dating. All Su-hee wanted was three clean rejections and free drinks for life. Instead… she accidentally became the center of the biggest dating disaster on campus.

Chapter 1 - 1 First Confession

Su-hee nibbled her finger as she blushed, glancing over her shoulder at the handsome Kim Da-hyun. Da-hyun caught a glimpse of Su-hee and awkwardly chuckled as his friends whistled.

"Hm… I…" Su-hee acted as best as possible. However, inside of her, she punched the air between them with confidence. "I like you!"

Da-hyun's friends laughed, shoving him to answer her. He scratched the back of his neck and forced a smile.

"Uh… I'm sorry… I have no interest in dating."

"Really?" Su-hee asked, perking her smile radiantly.

Da-hyun's breath caught in his throat.

"Uh… yes. Why?"

She cheered happily and laughed.

"Thanks! I see! Yes!!! One down, two more to go!" Su-hee yelled. She pumped her fist as she'd just won a jackpot.

Da-hyun and his friends were all caught off guard, wondering if she was serious—or just insane.

Da-hyun blinked in disbelief.

Then, slowly, he started laughing. Su-hee took a deep breath and skipped her way back to her friends.

"What a weird girl…"

He watched her jump and hug her friends while many ladies glared at her. He found himself smiling at her longer than he expected. Who is she? She's quite… more adorable than I expected.

"How dare she confess to our Da-hyun?!"

"Is she crazy? I would die to hear him talk to me!"

Su-hee brushed past the group of girls, waiting to confess to Da-hyun.

"Who celebrates after getting rejected?"

"Heh… she must have crushed her head."

"Yah, how could you instantly cheer that you got rejected? Are you seriously not curious about dating?!" Sun-ae hissed. Su-hee laughed and kissed her cheek. "YAH!"

"I don't need a man to date! Now I gotta ask two more boys… you promised!" Su-hee reminded Sun-ae.

"Aish, this girl… tsk, tsk, must have gotten brain damage from all that alcohol. Why did I promise it to you when you definitely need to stay away from it?" she argued.

LEE SU-HEE'S NARRATION

"My name is Su-hee, and I turned twenty recently. I've spent all my time studying and helping my mother run her chicken restaurant.

I have always had no interest in dating, nor do I want to date! My goal in life after university is to live with my mother and indulge in alcohol all night!

Yep! That's me!

My dream life involves two things: my mom's chicken restaurant and a fridge full of alcohol.

This one time, my friend since kindergarten, Moon Yeon-min, took me to the bar for the first time last year. I had a blast! I loved how the alcohol ran through my body.

Everything was great, and my friend, Koh Sun-ae, promised me more alcohol for free if I asked three men out and got rejected!

Why not?! Men would definitely reject me!

That's easy! The three most popular men would definitely reject me, right?!"

DAY AFTER FIRST CONFESSION

Su-hee walked around the campus, flashing her biceps, dancing happily. Sun-ae sighed heavily, shaking her head in disappointment.

"Yeon-min, you have to help me… Su-hee has gone crazy!" Sun-ae barked.

Yeon-min stared at her book, reading the pages without looking at the walkway.

"You started the bet… now you go deal with it," Yeon-min argued.

"No! It was a joke!" Sun-ae deflected.

Su-hee turned around slowly with a sly smile.

"Who should be my next target?" she wondered. Then she hopped her way to hug Sun-ae. "Doesn't your department have a man who rejects everyone?"

"Argh…" Sun-ae groaned. "Su-hee, you know him… He's Jae-hae—"

"Ew, that ogre?!" Su-hee hissed, recalling her friend since junior high. Sun-ae frowned. "What? But does he count if he rejects me?"

"Ew, why? Would you really ask him?" Sun-ae asked.

"If you say he counts, then yes…" Su-hee answered, pointing at her.

Sun-ae leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

"Mercy… please just do it quickly! How about we just forget the bet started?" she declared.

"No! You promised not to take back!"

[FLASHBACK]

Su-hee chugged ten shots of soju, slamming her cup down.

"Like, how dare he cheat on my back and beg for forgiveness? Why did he cheat on me and try to remind me of our dating anniversary every year?!"

Sun-ae, on her eighth shot, groaned angrily.

"What an asshole…" Sun-ae added.

Su-hee sniffled, pouting. He's the second boyfriend who cheated on me… She clutched the shot glass tightly.

"I will never date anyone ever again!"

Then a hand slapped her back.

"What are you doing shouting in the middle of the night here? Are you insane?!" an elder lady yelled.

Su-hee held her burning shoulder.

"Omma! Why do we attract shitty men?! Dad left us with another wife… now my ex left me for another woman!" she replied.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk… Aigoo…" Su-hee's mother clicked her tongue. "Did I raise my daughter wrong? She was supposed to help me, but all she does is drink after she saw that gift from her ex…"

She walked away, shaking her head.

"Just throw them all away. It's bad luck to keep things from these types of people!"

Sun-ae looked at Su-hee with her drowsy eyes, smirking.

"How about this, Su-hee?" Sun-ae wondered.

"What?"

"If you ask three men out… HIC. And they all reject you… HIC… I will pay for your alcohol for life!"

"Sun-ae…"

"Hmm…"

"You're amazing!" Su-hee claimed, hugging Sun-ae tightly. "No take-back!"

"No take-back!"

[END OF FLASHBACK]

"Argh! Why did I go and get drunk with you?" Sun-ae mumbled.

Su-hee smiled and winked at her, pointing at her.

"Because you love me!"

Sun-ae slapped Su-hee's finger away, and then she hugged Su-hee.

"Whatever… you still got to ask two men."

"Ogre will be the next one!" Su-hee declared.

Sun-ae rolled her eyes.

"Stop calling him that… you've been giving him that nickname since junior high," she replied.

"He is! I don't know what girls see in him…"

"Whatever… get it over with."

The trio continued walking to their classes.
