After everything that had happened, the room fell into a heavy, almost fragile silence that none of them dared to break too quickly. Beta Kulas and Gamma Nilo moved with practiced urgency, each of them gripping one of Damon's arms as they carefully lifted him and placed him back onto the bed. His body, once tense and violent, now lay still, his breathing uneven but gradually settling as the medicine took full effect.
Jacob, on the other hand, pushed himself up from the bed with unsteady movements, his legs almost giving out beneath him as he stepped back. His gaze drifted aimlessly, unfocused, as if his mind had been left behind in the chaos that had just unfolded. He wasn't really seeing the room anymore, only fragments of what had happened moments ago replaying over and over inside his head.
