Chapter 6 – Awakening of the First Guardian

The ocean was chaos.

The research vessel Aquila was breaking apart beneath the Titan's relentless assault. Steel groaned and twisted as another massive claw struck the ship's hull.

Arin barely kept his balance as the deck tilted violently.

Around him, the crew was scrambling toward the lifeboats.

"Move! Move!" someone shouted.

Kael grabbed Arin's arm.

"Arin! We have to leave now!"

But Arin wasn't looking at the collapsing ship.

He was staring at the glowing interface floating in front of his eyes.

Guardian Authorization Unlocked

Coordinates began flashing across the display.

Latitude. Longitude. Depth.

Arin's breathing slowed as he read the numbers.

Three kilometers below them.

Buried beneath the ocean floor.

Something ancient was waking up.

The Titan Returns

A deafening roar echoed across the dark ocean.

The Titan surfaced again.

Its enormous body rose like a living mountain of black scales. Water cascaded down its massive form as its glowing red eyes locked onto the dying ship.

"Brace!" Kael shouted.

The Titan slammed its tail against the vessel.

The ship cracked in half.

Metal shrieked as the bow began sinking into the ocean.

Arin staggered backward.

Cold seawater flooded the deck.

The system interface flashed urgently.

WARNING

Titan Threat Level: Extreme

Recommended Action: Activate Guardian

Arin clenched his fists.

"How?!" he shouted under his breath.

The system responded instantly.

Link Established

Guardian Unit: G-01

Activation Range: 3 km

A faint blue line appeared on the interface, stretching downward through the ocean depths.

Arin realized what it meant.

The system was connecting him to the machine below.

Deep Beneath the Ocean

Far below the surface, in the silent darkness of the abyss…

An ancient structure rested beneath layers of rock.

It had been there for thousands of years.

Waiting.

Dormant.

Until now.

Energy flickered across massive metal walls.

One by one, ancient circuits began to glow.

Inside a colossal chamber, a gigantic mechanical figure stood motionless.

Over two hundred meters tall.

Armored plating covered its entire body.

Its head resembled a knight's helmet, with a single glowing core at the center.

For centuries it had slept.

Then the command signal arrived.

AUTHORIZATION ACCEPTED

The machine's eyes lit up.

Blue energy surged through its systems.

The first Guardian was awakening.

Arin's Connection

Back on the surface, Arin gasped.

A powerful sensation flooded his mind.

It felt like another consciousness had connected with him.

Huge.

Ancient.

Powerful.

Images flashed through his thoughts.

The ocean floor.

A massive chamber.

A giant machine opening its eyes.

Kael stared at him.

"Arin… what's wrong with you?"

Arin looked toward the ocean.

Something massive was moving beneath the water.

And it was coming toward them.

The Titan's Final Attack

The Titan roared again.

Its enormous jaws opened as it lunged toward the sinking ship.

The creature intended to finish its prey.

Arin felt the Guardian respond.

Energy surged through the connection.

The system displayed a new command.

Guardian Deployment Ready

Arin whispered one word.

"Deploy."

Rise of the Guardian

The ocean exploded.

A massive shockwave erupted beneath the ship as something enormous burst upward from the depths.

Water blasted into the air like a volcanic eruption.

The Titan froze.

Something bigger had arrived.

Something stronger.

A colossal mechanical hand broke through the ocean surface.

Then another.

Slowly, the gigantic Guardian rose from the sea.

Its armored body towered over both the Titan and the broken ship.

Blue energy radiated from its core.

Kael stared in disbelief.

"What… is… that?"

Arin's eyes glowed faintly.

"That," he said quietly,

"is our salvation."

The First Titan Battle

The Titan roared in fury.

It lunged toward the newly emerged Guardian.

But the Guardian moved faster.

Its massive arm swung forward.

The mechanical fist collided with the Titan's head.

The impact created a thunderous shockwave across the ocean.

The Titan was thrown backward.

For the first time since it appeared…

The monster was overpowered.

The Guardian stood tall above the waves like a god of war.

And Arin realized something incredible.

He could control it.
