Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 – The Organization AwakensHigh above the Pac

ific Ocean, thousands of kilometers from the hidden Guardian base, satellites silently orbited Earth.

Most people on the planet never thought about them.

Weather monitoring satellites.

Communication relays.

Military observation systems.

But among them were a few that were far more powerful.

Classified surveillance satellites designed to detect unusual energy signatures anywhere on the planet.

And tonight…

They had detected something impossible.

The Signal

Inside a heavily guarded underground facility somewhere in North America, alarms suddenly echoed through a massive control room.

Red lights began flashing across dozens of computer consoles.

Technicians quickly turned toward their screens.

"What the hell is that signal?" one analyst asked.

Another scientist leaned forward, staring at the data.

"This can't be right…"

On the central screen, a massive spike of energy appeared on the global monitoring map.

Location: Pacific Ocean

Energy Level: Unknown

One of the technicians swallowed nervously.

"That spike just jumped past nuclear levels."

The room fell silent.

Nuclear levels of energy were usually associated with only a few things.

Atomic weapons.

Major reactor failures.

Or…

Something far worse.

Emergency Meeting

Minutes later, the facility's command center filled with high-ranking officials.

Military generals.

Government scientists.

Intelligence officers.

At the center of the room stood a tall man wearing a dark military uniform.

General Marcus Kane.

Director of a classified global defense organization known as Aegis Protocol.

"Report," he said calmly.

A scientist stepped forward.

"Two hours ago, our satellites detected an enormous biological entity emerging in the Pacific Ocean."

The screen displayed satellite images.

A massive shadow moving beneath the water.

A Titan.

The room murmured.

They had seen creatures like this before.

Over the last few years, unexplained ocean disturbances had increased around the world.

But none of them had been confirmed.

Until tonight.

"And then?" the general asked.

The scientist swallowed.

"Then something else appeared."

The next image appeared on the screen.

A blurry silhouette rising from the ocean.

It was massive.

Humanoid.

Mechanical.

Even with the low resolution, everyone in the room understood what they were looking at.

A giant machine.

The general leaned closer to the screen.

"What is that?"

The scientist shook his head.

"We don't know."

"But it destroyed the Titan."

Global Concern

Another analyst spoke up.

"The energy signature from the machine is unlike anything humanity has ever created."

"Not even experimental weapons produce this much power."

General Kane's expression darkened.

"Are you suggesting someone else built it?"

The scientist hesitated.

"We don't know who controls it."

"But there is definitely a pilot."

That word changed the entire conversation.

Pilot.

Someone out there was controlling a machine powerful enough to kill Titans.

The general turned toward the intelligence division.

"Find them."

Operation Deep Hunt

Within minutes, the facility launched a global search.

Spy satellites repositioned.

Deep-sea drones were deployed.

Military ships were redirected.

The official mission name appeared on the main screen.

OPERATION DEEP HUNT

Objective:

Locate the Titan Killer.

Capture or recruit the pilot.

Meanwhile – The Hidden Base

Far below the ocean surface, none of this activity reached Arin Vale.

Inside the Guardian Base, he was focused on something much more immediate.

The Titan King.

The massive red marker on the holographic map pulsed again.

The creature was approaching quickly.

Astra spoke calmly.

"Estimated arrival time: 3 hours."

Arin sat inside the Guardian cockpit.

The massive machine stood on a launch platform inside the facility.

"Show me the Titan King data."

A giant holographic projection appeared.

Arin's breath caught slightly.

The creature was enormous.

Nearly 900 meters long.

Covered in jagged armored plates.

Multiple glowing energy nodes pulsed across its body.

"This thing makes the last Titan look small," Arin muttered.

Astra agreed.

"Titan Kings are command-class organisms."

"Command?"

"They control other Titans."

Arin realized something terrifying.

"If this thing reaches land…"

Astra finished his sentence.

"Human extinction probability: 87%."

Preparation

Arin leaned back in the pilot seat.

He was still new to the system.

Still learning.

But there was no one else.

The system interface opened again.

GUARDIAN UPGRADE AVAILABLE

Options appeared:

Titanbreaker Gauntlet

Ocean Thruster System

Guardian Energy Shield

Arin studied them carefully.

The Titan King was huge.

A close-range fight might be dangerous.

He selected:

Ocean Thruster System

The Guardian's back suddenly unfolded.

Massive propulsion engines emerged.

Energy surged through the machine.

Astra confirmed the upgrade.

"Mobility increased by 300%."

Arin nodded slowly.

"Good."

He would need speed.

Titan Rising

Three hours later…

The ocean surface exploded.

A mountain of flesh and armor erupted from the depths.

The Titan King had awakened.

Ships hundreds of kilometers away detected the disturbance.

Massive waves spread across the ocean.

The creature roared.

A sound so powerful it echoed across the sea like thunder.

But far beneath the water…

Another giant began moving.

Guardian Unit G-01 launched from the facility.

Blue energy engines ignited.

The machine accelerated through the ocean like a missile.

Arin tightened his grip on the controls.

"Let's go meet our first king."

The Watching Eyes

High above the ocean…

Satellites recorded everything.

Inside the Aegis Protocol facility, the analysts watched in shock.

Two massive energy signals were moving toward each other.

One biological.

One mechanical.

General Kane crossed his arms.

"So the machine is going to fight it."

One scientist whispered quietly.

"If that thing wins…"

The general finished the thought.

"Then we have a new power on this planet."
