Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 – The Titan King

Appears

The ocean trembled.

Waves hundreds of meters high rolled across the dark water as the Titan King rose from the abyss.

It was massive.

Nearly a kilometer long, its body resembled a living mountain of armored plates and glowing veins of crimson energy. Each movement displaced millions of tons of water.

The creature's roar echoed across the ocean like a natural disaster.

Ships hundreds of kilometers away reported violent sea tremors.

Satellites captured the moment from orbit.

But far beneath the water, something else was moving.

Guardian Unit G-01.

Blue thrusters ignited along its back as the colossal machine accelerated through the ocean.

Inside the cockpit, Arin Vale focused on the combat displays.

His heartbeat was steady.

But the system interface in front of him flashed with warnings.

ENEMY DETECTED

Species: Titan King

Threat Level: Extreme

Estimated Size: 920 meters

Arin exhaled slowly.

"Alright… big guy."

First Contact

The Guardian burst from the ocean surface.

Water exploded outward as the massive machine rose into the air.

For a brief moment, the two giants faced each other across the stormy sea.

Titan King.

Guardian.

The Titan roared again, its enormous jaws opening wide enough to swallow an entire warship.

Then it attacked.

Its colossal tail slammed toward the Guardian like a collapsing skyscraper.

Arin reacted instantly.

"Thrusters!"

The Guardian's engines fired.

The massive machine dodged sideways, barely avoiding the crushing strike.

The tail slammed into the ocean, sending a massive shockwave through the water.

Arin's eyes widened slightly.

"That thing hits like a meteor…"

Astra's voice echoed calmly through the cockpit.

"Recommend targeting energy nodes."

Red markers appeared across the Titan King's body.

Weak points.

Guardian Counterattack

Arin moved the controls.

The Guardian accelerated forward.

Blue energy surged through the Titanbreaker Gauntlet.

"Let's test this."

The Guardian's fist slammed into the Titan King's armored chest.

BOOM.

The impact created a shockwave that split the surrounding waves.

But the Titan King barely moved.

Instead, the creature grabbed the Guardian's arm.

Arin felt the pressure instantly.

Warning signals flashed across the cockpit.

STRUCTURAL STRESS DETECTED

The Titan King lifted the Guardian partially out of the water.

Then it threw the machine across the ocean.

The Guardian crashed into the sea several kilometers away.

Arin gritted his teeth.

"Okay… that's a problem."

Adaptation

The Titan King turned toward the Guardian again.

But Arin was already thinking.

The system interface opened.

Guardian Combat Protocol – Level 1

Arin activated it.

Instantly his brain processed dozens of tactical predictions.

Movement paths.

Attack timing.

Weak point probabilities.

It was like playing chess against a monster the size of a city.

Arin smiled slightly.

"Let's try something smarter."

The Guardian launched forward again.

But this time it moved faster.

Thrusters ignited.

The machine circled behind the Titan King.

Then it struck.

The Titanbreaker Gauntlet smashed directly into one of the glowing energy nodes.

CRACK.

The node shattered.

The Titan King roared in pain.

Arin's eyes lit up.

"Now we're getting somewhere."
