Chapter 31: A Dangerous Training part 2

A deep silence had settled over the Training Room.

Wang stood silently in front of his father. Fear was clearly visible on his face, but he was trying to keep himself strong.

Obito looked at him seriously and said in a low voice,

"Wang, with the help of my power, I will suppress your sense of pain for some time. During this time, there is only one thing you have to do..."

He paused for a moment.

"Focus."

Wang silently looked at his father.

Obito slowly began spreading his power around Wang. Within a few moments, an imperceptible pressure spread throughout the room.

Wang suddenly felt the power within his body much more clearly than before.

Obito said,

"Now focus all your attention on your inner air. You will feel your power becoming stronger than before, but controlling it is your responsibility."

Wang slowly closed his eyes.

He took a deep breath.

Then he began trying to feel the power within his body.

For a few moments, only the sound of his breathing could be heard.

Obito silently watched him.

Then he said,

"Now, Wang... make a cut on your palm, bigger than before."

Wang's body became still for a moment.

He opened his eyes and looked at his father with frightened eyes.

Obito immediately said,

"Don't be afraid. Focus all your attention on your inner air."

Wang hesitantly nodded.

He looked at his palm and then closed his eyes.

His hand was trembling.

He tried to control himself and made a cut on his palm.

The very next moment, fear scattered his concentration.

The flow of his inner air also began to become unstable.

Obito immediately understood what was happening.

"Wang!"

His voice echoed throughout the room.

"Focus!"

Wang took a nervous breath.

Obito said in a firm but confident tone,

"You are not feeling any pain. With the help of my power, I have suppressed your sense of pain for some time. This is all happening because of your fear. Don't focus on your fear. Focus only on your inner air!"

Wang heard his father's voice.

He slowly brought his breathing under control.

He tried to ignore his fear and focused all his attention on the power within his body.

A few moments later, he realized that he truly was not feeling any pain.

Wang felt his inner air.

At first, it was disordered, but slowly its flow began to stabilize.

Wang deepened his concentration even further.

It felt as if the power within his body was gathering in one place.

Then he slowly transferred that power toward his palm.

His goal was to use his inner air to stop the bleeding from the wound.

For a few moments, he continued trying with complete concentration.

Then...

The bleeding stopped.

A complete silence suddenly filled the Training Room.

Wang slowly opened his eyes.

He looked at his palm.

First, surprise appeared on his face, and then happiness.

He immediately looked at his father and said,

"Dad... I did it!"

A slight smile appeared on Obito's face.

"Yes, Wang. You did it."

He took a few steps forward.

Looking at Wang, he said,

"Now you have learned the basic method of using your inner air to stop the bleeding from your wound."

Wang silently continued looking at his palm.

A short while ago, there had been fear in that hand, but now that same hand had filled his heart with confidence.

But...

At the same time, in a room located in another part of the lab, Rin's fingers began to move.

A few moments later, her eyes slowly opened.

Rin stared at the ceiling for a few moments.

Then suddenly, she remembered everything.

Obito approaching her...

Him making her unconscious...

And Wang.

Rin immediately sat up.

Only one name echoed in her mind.

"Wang!"

She quickly left the room.

As soon as she opened the door, she began moving down the corridor.

Then her footsteps became faster.

She was running toward the Training Room.

Her heartbeat was rapidly increasing.

There was only one thought in her mind.

"Nothing should happen to my son..."

Rin knew that Obito had intentionally made her unconscious.

She also understood why Obito was doing this.

He did not want Rin to watch her son go through difficult training again.

He knew that for a mother, watching her child in danger could be far more painful than the training itself.

But Rin also knew why this training was necessary.

She was part of the Royal Family.

She knew that being part of this family was connected not only to the crown and authority, but also to countless responsibilities.

In the future, Wang would also have to face trials from which there would be no escape.

But for a mother, accepting this reality was not easy.

She could not bear to see her son in fear.

Rin continued moving quickly toward the Training Room.

Her anxiety was growing.

"Obito... what could you have done to him?"

She increased her speed even more.

A few moments later, she reached the Training Room.

She suddenly stopped.

She looked at the door in front of her.

Fear, anger, and a mother's helplessness were all visible on her face at once.

Rin reached her hand toward the door.

But at that very moment...

A voice came from inside.

"Dad... I did it!"

Rin's hand stopped right there.

Her eyes widened in surprise.

She was hearing her son's voice.

He was alive.

He was talking.

But the very next moment, another question arose in her heart.

"Is Wang really safe?"

Rin tightly gripped the door handle.

She still did not know what had happened inside.

But one thing was certain.

She was not going to leave her son alone in any kind of danger.

Rin reached her hand forward to open the door.

She heard Obito's voice from inside.

"Wang, your real training has only just begun."

The expression on Rin's face changed.
