Chapter 1 - the chapter one

Yara's life was going in a boring straight line.

Wake up.

She goes to high school.

She laughs with her friends.

Complain about projects.

She drinks her cold coffee in the same corner every day.

She didn't hate her life... But she didn't like her either.

She felt something bigger was waiting for her, but she didn't know what it was.

Until the day came when everything changed.

Chapter 2: Ashes Do Not Lie

On an ordinary morning, the earth not only shook, but also split.

It wasn't a single raid; it was a symphony of death. Yara, who was complaining about the cold coffee, now found herself covering her face with flying cement dust. State media was repelling from the radio in the nearby store: "Our valiant forces are crushing the dens of terrorist rebels, no civilian casualties."

Yara looked around... She saw a baby doll under the rubble, and saw a woman screaming as she pulled a dead body from under the rubble. This is not a "rebel for", this was the residential "flower neighborhood".

Here something ignited in her heart.

Yara rushed towards the neighborhood square where the military bulldozers were preparing to demolish the remaining houses "for security reasons". She stood in the middle, small, slender, but hard like a wall.

"Stop! There are neighborhoods inside!" I screamed, but the armor commanders saw her only as a small obstacle. A soldier pointed his weapon at her coldly, and the countdown began to launch the last projectile to level the residential square with the ground.

Yara closed her eyes, she was ready to die for the truth... Suddenly, there was a sudden silence.

Chapter Three: The Prince and the Shadow of the Throne

It wasn't the shell that dot, but the sound of the trumpet of the royal procession.

Prince Adam got out of his armored car. He was looking at the scene with stiff features, but his eyes were burning with anger as he saw an ordinary girl standing alone in front of a war machine.

He approached her amid the stunning of the soldiers who immediately lowered their weapons.

Yara said to him with tears hurting the dust of her face:

"Your Highness the Prince, if these are the 'enemies' you are fighting, you are fighting yourselves. Look at the blood, is this the blood of rebels or the blood of innocents?"

Adam did not order her arrest. Instead, he took off his cloak and put it on her trembling shoulders, and looked at the military commander saying in a decisive tone:

"Stop your hands. Any bullet fired anymore will be in my chest."

For her, and for the truth she shouted in his face, Adam fought a political battle in the palace that ended with the declaration of the truce... But he didn't know that the real war hadn't started yet.

Chapter 4: Rose Steam.. And the death remained

After the truce settled, Prince Adam invited friends to the "Al-Nada" palace to celebrate. The day began in the old royal bath; the white marble shines, and the smell of incense mixes with warm water vapor.

In the women's section, the girlfriends were chasing Yara with their laughter:

"Admit it, Yara! If it weren't for the looks of love in your eyes, the prince wouldn't have risked his throne for you!"

Yara's face blushed and she shouted at them as she tried to hide her smile: "Stop! There is nothing between me and him. He only has a living conscience!"

But deep down, her heart was dancing; today she decided to be alone before the banquet to tell him what words couldn't do.

Yara came out of the shower, wearing a simple dress and her hair was still wet. As she walked down the long marble corridor leading to the garden, the blood froze in her veins.

Malicious energy. Heavy air is like pulling oxygen from her lungs.

She saw him.. A pale man, moving suspiciously slowly as if his limbs were just shadows. Before she screamed, her friend Mira passed by him and spoke spontaneously to him: "Is the way to the banquet from here?"

Yara went crazy, and she saw the "pale" pounce coldly on Mira's neck. Without thinking, Yara jumped like a tiger, and fell on him with mad blows. Suddenly, it came out of Yara's grip and a flash of golden light pierced the man's chest, turning in an instant into light dust shed by the wind.

Mira fell to the ground trembling: "Yara! What happened? It was.. He was talking and suddenly he attacked, I don't understand what happened after that!"

Yara whispered, looking at her hands: "He wasn't human, Mira. It's gone!"

Chapter 5: The Missing Number

The seven gathered in a closed room in the palace. There was heavy silence after Mira told what happened.

A friend shouted, "So the rumors are real? The city is full of ghosts? We are lost!"

Yara stood hard and said, "Don't be afraid, as long as I'm with you, I'll protect you."

One young man laughed bitterly: "You? Crazy throws herself to death! Will you face an army of spirits with your fist?"

Yara replied angrily: "What a mean you are! At least I'm not hiding behind my fear!"

Suddenly, Yara felt cold behind her back. She turned slowly and said in a low voice: "Wait.. We're seven, right?"

They started counting: "One, two.. Six, seven."

"But I feel like we're eight," Yara said with her eyes widening.

Yara set off like an arrow towards a large wooden cabinet in the corner, and opened it forcefully to find a man hiding. She didn't hesitate; she started hitting him with all her strength, but this time.. The light energy did not come out! Her punches were hit by flesh and blood.

Yara stopped in shock when she saw his face in the light; he was not pale, but a handsome man, his eyes are alive and overflowing with terror, wearing the remains of a torn military suit.

A friend shouted as he stepped back: "Now! This is Kamal.. The soldier who was declared dead in the 'Al-Zohour neighborhood' raid a year ago!"

Another mutter and horror possesses it: "It's a ghost.. A ghost came back to take revenge!"

Kamal got up, wiping the blood from his mouth and shouted in a hoarse voice that shook the room:

"You idiots! I'm not a ghost! I'm just like you. But the state is the one who wants you to think we are rebels. Or dead!"
