Chapter 5
Author's POV
Keifer couldn't stop thinking about what Angelo had told him.
How did Jay fight like that?
The question kept echoing in his mind.
He looked at Angelo.
"Boss... I want to see Jay."
Angelo nodded.
"Come with me."
Both of them walked towards Jay's room in silence. The atmosphere in the hospital felt heavy.
When they reached the room, Aries was sitting beside Jay's bed.
"How is she?" Keifer asked.
Aries sighed.
"She's still unconscious."
Keifer slowly walked towards Jay and looked at her pale face.
"Idiot..." he whispered. "Why did you risk your life for us?"
No one answered.
The room remained silent.
After a few minutes, Angelo placed a hand on Keifer's shoulder.
"Let's give her some rest."
Keifer nodded unwillingly and left the room with Angelo.
Midnight...
The hospital corridor was completely quiet.
Only the sound of machines could be heard.
Suddenly...
Five black luxury cars stopped outside the hospital.
Several men wearing black suits stepped out.
The nurses looked at them nervously.
One of the men approached the reception desk.
"We're here to visit Miss Jay."
The receptionist frowned.
"Visiting hours are over."
The man smiled politely.
"We know."
Before anyone could stop them, they walked towards Jay's room.
Outside the room, one of the men whispered,
"Commander, should we inform the Boss?"
The woman beside him shook her head.
"No."
"Our Queen is injured."
"She ordered us not to reveal anything."
"Until she wakes up... no one must know who she really is."
The others nodded.
Inside the room, Jay remained unconscious.
One of the women gently adjusted Jay's blanket.
"We'll handle everything, Queen..."
Then all of them quietly left before sunrise.
Not a single member of Section E saw them.
Only one security guard watched them leave...
And wondered,
"Who exactly is this girl?"
