The Fernandez Mansion was unusually lively that morning.
Suitcases were placed near the main door.
Today was the day.
Keifer and Kegan were leaving for London.
Kerian sat quietly on the sofa, staring at his brothers.
"You really have to go?" he asked in a low voice.
Keifer smiled and rubbed his hair.
"I'll be back before you know it."
Kegan grinned.
"And don't touch my snacks while I'm gone."
Kerian rolled his eyes.
"As if I would."
Everyone laughed.
Tita Gama walked out of the kitchen carrying breakfast.
"Enough talking. Eat first before your flight."
"Yes, Tita," everyone replied together.
Jay smiled as she watched them.
She was happy...
But deep inside, she couldn't stop worrying.
After breakfast, Angelo handed Keifer a folder.
"These are the documents related to Watson Enterprises."
Keifer accepted it respectfully.
"Thank you."
Angelo looked him straight in the eyes.
"London won't be easy."
"There are people who don't want you to claim your inheritance."
Keifer nodded.
"I know."
"But I won't let my mother's hard work go to waste."
Jay looked at him quietly.
You'll protect your mother's dream...
And I'll protect you.
A few hours later...
At the airport...
Everyone gathered to say goodbye.
Kerian hugged Keifer tightly.
"Come back soon."
"I will."
Keifer smiled before hugging him back.
He then looked at Jay.
"Take care of yourself."
Jay smiled softly.
"You too."
"Don't overwork yourself."
"I know you."
Keifer laughed.
"I'll try."
The boarding announcement echoed through the airport.
"It looks like it's time," Kegan said.
Keifer gave everyone one last look before he and Kegan walked toward the boarding gate.
Jay watched until they disappeared from sight.
...
That night...
Back at the Fernandez Mansion...
Everyone had gone to sleep.
Jay quietly stepped onto the balcony outside her room.
She took out a small phone that no one knew she had.
She dialed a number.
The call connected almost instantly.
"Commander Scott speaking."
Jay's voice became calm and serious.
"Has Keifer landed?"
"Not yet, Boss. His plane will arrive in a few hours."
Jay looked up at the stars.
"Listen carefully."
"I don't want him to know you're protecting him."
"If anyone tries to stop him from claiming Watson Enterprises..."
Scott smiled confidently.
"I'll handle it."
Jay nodded.
"And remember..."
"He must earn his position himself."
"We're only removing the dangers around him."
"As you command, Boss."
The call ended.
Jay put the phone away.
A gentle smile appeared on her face.
"Come back safely, Keifer..."
"I'll be waiting."
