The morning sunlight slowly entered Jay's hospital room.
A nurse walked in to check her condition.
As she was about to leave...
Jay's fingers moved.
The nurse's eyes widened.
"D-Doctor!"
A few moments later, the doctor rushed into the room and examined her.
"She's waking up."
Outside the room, Angelo, Aries, Ci-n, and Section E were waiting anxiously.
The doctor came out with a smile.
"Ms. Jay is conscious now, but only one person can meet her at a time. She needs complete rest."
Before anyone could say anything, Keifer immediately stood up.
"I'm going."
The others just smiled.
"Go," Angelo said.
Keifer slowly opened the door and entered the room.
Jay was looking out of the window.
When she heard the door open, she turned around and smiled weakly.
"So... you're finally awake too."
Keifer crossed his arms.
"I should be the one saying that."
"You scared everyone."
Jay laughed softly.
"I'm still alive, aren't I?"
Keifer sat beside her bed.
There was silence between them.
Finally, he spoke.
"Why did you save us?"
Jay looked away.
"I couldn't leave you there."
Keifer stared at her.
"Jay..."
"Who are you?"
For a second...
Jay's heart skipped a beat.
She smiled naturally.
"I'm your friend."
Keifer wasn't convinced.
Before he could ask another question, the doctor entered.
"Time's up."
Keifer sighed and stood up.
"I'll ask you again when you're fully recovered."
After he left, Jay looked towards the closed door.
"I'm sorry..."
"I can't tell you the truth... not yet."
At the same time...
Far away from the hospital...
Inside a luxurious mansion...
A man in a black suit stood in front of a huge screen.
He looked at Jay's hospital report and smiled.
"Our Queen has finally awakened."
Another man asked,
"Should we inform the commanders?"
The man nodded.
"Call everyone."
"The emergency meeting will begin tonight."
Meanwhile...
Jay closed her eyes in the hospital bed.
She knew...
A storm was coming.
