Chapter 39 - Shut Up Mosquito :

After finishing her studies, Sheyaan felt a deep sense of happiness.

There was a new hope on her face, but she was completely unaware of the dangers surrounding her.

Perhaps she would never have been able to escape those dangers, but fortunately, not a human, but a Demon was there to protect her.

As soon as Sheyaan started to leave the study room, someone was already lying in wait to disrupt her happiness.

The moment she stepped out of the door, a sharp white light shot out from behind like a blade.

That light struck directly at Sheyaan's neck, and as soon as she felt it, a painful current ran through her body.

She trembled badly. A loud scream escaped from her throat and echoed throughout the room.

"Aaaaaahhh...!!!"

That white light had gripped Sheyaan's delicate neck so tightly that it became difficult for her to breathe.

Due to this sudden attack, the books and pen she was holding scattered here and there.

Struggling, Sheyaan tried to remove that light from her neck with her hands, but she failed.

Sheyaan froze in place, her eyes wide and life less with fear. That white light was pulling her into a black circular mist.

Sheyaan was being dragged backward, her body trembling badly.

Then she gathered her remaining courage and managed to let out a painful voice,

"Aaah "Help me...!"

That screaming voice of Sheyaan reached directly to Zavian's ears. That sound shook him from within.

He immediately looked toward the stairs, and his voice echoed through the entire mansion like thunder:

"Sheyaan's voice?! Who dares to touch her!"

As soon as he said this, Zavian disappeared like smoke in an instant from where he was standing.

The very next moment, he was present outside Sheyaan's study room. Our Alisha had already left from there very quickly.

Then Zavian raised his sharp and dangerous gaze and saw that the room's door was slowly closing.

Without wasting a single moment, Zavian quickly moved forward and grabbed the door with both his strong hands.

He used all his strength to open it; Demon blood was rushing rapidly through his veins.

The door flew open with, sudden jerk and Zavian stepped inside without a second's delay.

the ground seemed to slip from beneath his feet; he was completely stunned. His mouth remained open in shock.

He saw that the white light emerging from that black circular mist was pulling Sheyaan from the ground and dragging her inside. Sheyaan was screaming loudly,

"No... no... someone save me!"

Hearing Sheyaan's painful voice, Zavian ran toward her without thinking. As soon as he grabbed her hand, he received a strong shock and fell backward.

When he looked carefully at his hand, his eyes widened in shock—half of his hand was burned, as if someone had struck it with a hot knife!

Roaring in anger, Zavian said,

"What is all this?!"

But he did not lose courage. He stepped forward again and grabbed the hand of Sheyaan on which the tattoo was made.

As soon as Zavian held that tattooed hand, a sharp and burning light began to emit from both of their tattoos.

Without wasting any time, Zavian struck Sheyaan's neck with his other hand...

As soon as Zavian struck, a red light like lightning emerged from his hand, due to which the white light released Sheyaan's neck and disappeared like electricity.

That black sphere also released Sheyaan with a sudden jerk and vanished from there in an instant. Sheyaan fell to the ground right there and lost consciousness.

The atmosphere of the study room became completely silent, as if nothing had happened there.

Zavian quickly tapped Sheyaan's face gently, but even the touch of his cold hands could not wake her.

Then Zavian glanced at Sheyaan's reddened face and immediately lifted her into his arms.

In one moment he disappeared from there, and in the very next moment he appeared in Sheyaan's room.

Zavian gently laid Sheyaan on the bed and sat there himself. He moved one of his hands slightly above Sheyaan's face, from which a soft healing light emerged.

That light surrounded Sheyaan's face and after a short while...

Zavian slowly moved his hand away and saw that Sheyaan was gradually opening her eyes.

Zavian sat there silently, watching her with his soft and deep gaze. As she regained consciousness, Sheyaan let out a cold sigh,

"Umhm...".

As soon as she saw Zavian sitting beside her, she quickly sat up in shock. Stammering slightly and in anger, she asked,

"Hey... you... what are you doing here?!"

Zavian narrowed his eyes slightly and said in his usual "cold" tone,

"It seems I will have to put a 'chip' in your brain. A chip that records every incident that happens to you, so that when

"I save you, you remember everything and don't bore me by asking such useless questions."

Sheyaan looked at Zavian with surprise and anger. Irritated, she said,

"What do you think, am I crazy? Or has my mind gone bad? You are the one who needs that chip, not me,

"and..I... know the truth...It was...you who saved...me understand! Stop following me like a mosquito for no reason!"

Sheyaan's anger was not stopping. Pointing her finger at Zavian, she kept saying,

"You keep buzzing around me... like a mosquito...for no reason! If...it were up to me, I... would kill you with a mosquito racket...so that you stop hovering around me!"

Sheyaan said all this in one breath and then took a deep breath. Zavian, who had been silent until now, looked at her with slanted eyes. His face showed a mix of irritation and anger.

Growling, Zavian said,

"How dare you... compare me to a...mosquito? I am a...Demon, not an ordinary mosquito!"

Instead of being scared, Sheyaan widened her eyes and raised her eyebrows, teasing him,

"You... may be a Demon, but... in my eyes, you are just a mosquito... a mosquito! Got it?"

Zavian was now truly irritated. Glaring angrily, he said,

"Stop calling me a mosquito!"

But Sheyaan was not going to stop. She kept teasing him again and again, saying,

"No... you are a mosquito... a mosquito!" Zavian was getting so irritated by that name that his patience was reaching its limit.

In anger, Zavian forcefully covered Sheyaan's mouth with his hand. With his other hand, he held both of Sheyaan's hands and pushed her onto the bed.

This sudden action of Zavian completely shocked Sheyaan; her heart started beating like crazy.

Zavian was so close to her that Sheyaan could feel every breath of his. His hand was still pressing against her lips.

As soon as Zavian realized this, he said in a harsh voice:

"If you call me... 'mosquito' again... there will be...no one worse than me. Do you..understand?"

Saying this, Zavian immediately stepped back. He released Sheyaan's hands and mouth and stood straight, adjusting his clothes.

But Sheyaan... it was as if she had gone into deep shock. She slowly got up and, in a frightened voice, said,

"yo...you... please... leave from here!"

Zavian quickly said,

"You rest, I am here."

As soon as he said this, Zavian's gaze suddenly shifted toward the door. Someone was standing there... someone who was

signaling Zavian to come closer. The moment Zavian saw it, shock flashed across his face.
