Chapter 41 - Caught in the Lens :

Kalenewas now certain someone from their world had already crossed into the human world.

He and Zavian were standing on the terrace, lost in deep thought, when suddenly the silence was broken by the ringing of Zavian's phone.

That call brought both of them back to their senses. Thinking for a moment, Zavian picked up his phone and asked in a cold tone,

"Who is it?"

From the other side, a familiar voice came.

"This is Fangxi speaking."

Zavian let out a slight breath. His tone was stern, but there was a soft undertone in it.

"Oh... yes, tell me. What is it?"

Fangxi's voice was filled with worry. He quickly asked,

"Is everything okay at home?

I mean... Sheyaan? She is fine, right?"

Zavian closed his eyes and took a long, deep breath. Hiding all the turmoil inside him and the fact that an unknown force had attacked Sheyaan, he replied in a completely cold tone,

"Yes... Sheyaan is perfectly fine. Don't worry, I am here.. and I won't let anything happen.. to her."

Continuing, Zavian said.

"Her study is over and.. now she is resting a bit. Until you return home, I will.. not leave her alone. Okay?"

Hearing this, Fangxi let out a relieved breath and simply said, "Ok."

The call ended. Meanwhile, in Fangxi's office, Younshu stepped in...

Fangxi's office was heavy with the pressure of work.Younshu sensed the worry on Fangxi's face and asked in a concerned voice,

"Boss... you seem a bit worried. What's the matter?"

Fangxi, typing on his computer, casually replied.

"Nothing has happened. Everything is fine."

Then suddenly, stopping his work, he glared at Younshu and said sternly,

"Stop worrying about me. and...worry about your monthly bonus. The file I gave you—have you.. completed it? If not, then.. forget this month's bonus."

Younshu got flustered and replies.

"no...no.. I've completed it... completely done. Here you go, boss, please check... everything is perfect."

He placed the file in front of Fangxi with a proud expression.

Fangxi stared at him. After checking the file, he said,

"Hmm... thank your luck. Your monthly bonus is saved."

Then Younshu quickly made a face and replied,

"You know, I... consider you less of a boss and... more of a brother, and you... were cutting my bonus!"

Seeing Younshu's expression, Fangxi smiled slightly and said, "Yeah... alright, don't do too much..drama. And... get back to work."

There, in the office, Fangxi and Younshu were busy in their banter, while here, time took a turn.

The orange light of the sun slowly wrapped itself into a dark veil, and a beautiful, peaceful night took the mansion into its embrace.

Sheyaan had picked up her fallen notebook and pen from the study room and was now carrying them toward that special

place in her room where peace resided—the table and chair placed right beside the window.

As soon as she sat down, the cool, fresh breeze coming through the window touched her face and played with her scattered hair.

The moonlit night outside was so beautiful that for a moment, Sheyaan forgot everything.

Gathering a bit of courage, she spread her notebook on the table.

She held the pen firmly in her hands, her grip strong. Feeling a new determination within herself, she softly whispered:

"Hmm... Sheyaan, you can do this. Don't lose.. courage. Just... start writing now."

The soft light of the moon falling through the window spread over her pages. Sheyaan carefully read the first question given by Alisha.

Her mind was now in the world of questions, and her heart carried only one rhythm—to achieve something.

Sheyaan took a deep breath and focused on the first question.

"Hmm... so the first question is from Basic Math."

She tightened her grip on the pen and calculations started racing through her mind. She began writing step-by-step in her notebook:

Required Marks: 350

Current Marks: 200

Difference: 350 - 200 = 150

Sheyaan drew a deep line below and wrote in bold letters:

"We need 150 marks, and that is the answer to this question."

After solving one question, she took a sigh of relief and looked at the next question.

"Now the General Knowledge question...the" Sheyaan fell into thought. Her face turned a bit sad and she murmured worriedly to herself,

"How should I...write this? I don't understand... which women's names I.. should write, there are so many women... in the world who have worked hard and faced..struggles."

Sheyaan thought for a long time, then suddenly an idea came to her mind.

"Why don't I..ask Fangxi?"

She quickly picked up her phone and was about to dial Fangxi's number when...

Suddenly, a heavy and stern voice echoed from behind, sending a shiver through Sheyaan's body.

"There is.. no need to make a call."

Sheyaan quickly turned back. Zavian was standing there, a strange dominance in his gaze.

He walked straight toward her and without saying anything, took the phone away from near her ear and cut the call.

Zavian's cold hand brushed past Sheyaan's ear, sending a shiver through her. Zavian's stern voice had made her breath halt...

Zavian cut the call and set the phoneon the table. Then without word he calmly took a set beside her by the window.

His face was expressionless, but there was a strange shine in his eyes.

"There is... no need to call anyone,"

Zavian said while looking into her eyes.

"It is your study, you.. should solve it yourself."

Sheyaan was still surprised by his sudden arrival and his bossy attitude.

She kept staring at Zavian without blinking. Just then, Zavian snapped his fingers in front of her face.

Hearing the snap, Sheyaan came back to her senses. She stammered slightly.

"yo...you... came again to disturb me, didn't you?"

Zavian waved one hand in the air and replied in a very attitude-filled voice.

"I... I did not come to bother you. I am... just telling you that it is your... study, you should complete it yourself."

Sheyaan replied.

"I know..this is my work! But... I needed Fangxi's help so.. that he could properly explain to me how to do this... question."

Zavian let out a long, deep breath. He adjusted his coat and moved a little closer to Sheyaan, speaking in a low but impactful voice:

"Sheyaan... you have my powers. If you... ask them for anything, they will surely help you."

Zavian paused, looked deeply into her eyes, and continued.

"But remember... they will only help you...when you have no other option left, when nothing is within your...control."

Hearing Zavian's words, Sheyaan was first a little impressed, then she asked in surprise.

"Is it really true...?"

Zavian replied in an expressionless but confident tone.

"Yes, it is true... but I think...you should search this question on your phone." Because.. this is not a very difficult question.

Hearing this, Sheyaan suddenly placed her hand on her head and said loudly.

"Oh... right! I completely forgot." That in today's... world, the internet tells everything.

Sheyaan quickly picked up her phone and started searching on the internet:

"Names of three most successful women and...how they faced their struggles."

As soon as she searched, the names of all those women and their entire life stories (journeys) appeared on her mobile screen.

Seeing this, a unique shine appeared on Sheyaan's face and she said excitedly,

"Wow... this is amazing!"

Zavian was sitting there by the window. He was just watching Sheyaan with his cold and deep gaze, spinning his phone in his hand.

But Sheyaan was now completely busy with her work. She picked up her pen, thought for a moment, and then started

quickly writing the names of those three personalities and the lessons learned from them in her notebook.

She wrote first:

Lee Boo-Jin (The Iron Flower of Samsung)

Challenge: Creating her own identity among the men of her family.

Lesson: A person's own standard is greater than inheritance. The right balance of grace and power is success.

Now stories of success were being written across the pages of Sheyaan's notebook.

After Lee Boo-Jin, she wrote about two more great personalities:

Kim Yuna (The Ice Queen)

Challenge: Facing severe pain and depression.

Lesson: When the pressure of the whole world is on your shoulders, that is when you must give your best performance. "Keep a cool head."

Sheyaan took a deep breath and said to herself, "Now the last woman..."

Han Seong-Sook (The Tech Visionary)

Challenge: Taking charge in a male-dominated IT industry.

Lesson: Research and decisions made at the right time can turn the direction of any enemy or difficulty.

Sheyaan was speaking all this while writing. As soon as she finished the last word, she placed her pen on the table and

proudly looked at her notebook before closing it. Her face was glowing with happiness. She shouted excitedly:

"It's done! My work is... finished... Yes! I did it!"

Zavian, who had been silently sitting by the window watching all this, was surprised to see Sheyaan's sudden happiness.

But what happened in the very next moment left him shocked.

In her excitement, Sheyaan became so overwhelmed that she danced her way straight toward Zavian and, without thinking, hugged him!

Zavian was completely shocked. His body stiffened for a moment and he suddenly stood up.

Sheyaan was still clinging to him, celebrating her success, but Zavian's heartbeat had now started moving at a completely different pace...

Sheyaan, still hugging Zavian, was laughing near his ear and saying.

"Did you see? I did it!"

Seeing Sheyaan's innocent happiness, a slight smile appeared on Zavian's stern face. In a soft tone, he said.

"Alright... that's enough now, how much will.. you laugh?"

As soon as Sheyaan heard this, she playfully moved her face away from near his ear and brought it directly in front of his face.

At that moment, they were so close that even their breaths were colliding with each other.

Their eyes got entangled in each other—as if time itself had stopped.

Zavian's hand slowly slid to Sheyaan's waist as he pulled her closer , the distance between then faded as he leaned in.

Inch by Inch toward her...was a strange attraction in the atmosphere.

But neither of them had any idea that someone was hiding in the darkness... someone who was secretly taking their pictures.

Behind the walls of the mansion, a new web of conspiracy was being woven.
