Chapter 38 - The Electric Trap :

Zavian moved forward placing each step with extreme caution. He knew the danger was very close, but he still did not make any counter move (action).

His demonic mind knew that if he acted in haste at this moment, destruction would be certain.

That's why he was observing everything very closely, like a hunter waiting for the right moment.

After some time, Zavian quietly left from there.

On the other side, Sheyaan reached her study room, where Alisha was already waiting for her.

With a soft smile, Sheyaan said, "Sorry Professor, you had to wait because of me."

Alisha stood up from her chair and, placing her hand on Sheyaan's shoulder, made her sit on the chair in front. In a serious tone, Alisha said,

"Sit here. From today, your studies are starting, so now keep your mind calm and take a long deep breath."

Sheyaan did exactly that. Encouraging her, Alisha said,

"Very good! Now whatever I ask you, answer it correctly."

Sheyaan gave a sweet smile and said with full confidence,

"Ok Professor, you ask... I will give you the correct answer."

Alisha stood beside the table a faint smile on her lips. She took a deep breath then looked straight into Sheyaan's eyes and said,

"Alright Sheyaan, first understand that I am your Professor. So whatever you want to ask, ask me without hesitation, okay? And stop being afraid you, ok"

Sheyaan slowly nodded in agreement. Alisha continued,

"Okay, then tell me... why do you want to study?"

Sheyaan sank into thought for a moment, then answered very seriously:

"I want to gain knowledge... and give a strong reply to those people who consider me inferior and a failure.

"I want to become a Business Woman, Professor. A woman who is not afraid of anyone and has the courage to fulfill all her dreams."

"There was a new spark in Sheyaan's voice. She continued, "I want to become someone the whole world sees.

"I will work with all my effort. Professor, I want to achieve that high level of success that I desire.

"I am only 21 years old, my age has not passed yet. I will give it my all."

While saying all this, Sheyaan took a long and confident breath. Alisha was watching her silently.

Alisha picked up the glass of water kept on the table and, handing it to Sheyaan, said,

"Here, Sheyaan, drink this."

Sheyaan drank a little water, which reduced her nervousness. Then Alisha, smiling, encouraged her,

"Wow Sheyaan! You answered the question very well. I am very happy to see your confidence.

"I want you to always stay this confident, okay?"

"Yes, okay," Sheyaan said softly.

"Now we will start our study,"

Alisha said and placed a pen and a notebook in front of Sheyaan. Opening the notebook, she continued,

"Sheyaan, from today your studies are beginning. These two questions are your first lesson.

"You have to write them tonight and tomorrow morning you have to recite them to me from memory."

There was a testing glint in Alisha's eyes when she said,

"I want to see whether your mind has really become weak in studies or not.

"That's why I will first give you Basic Maths Logic and General Knowledge questions. Okay?"

Sheyaan immediately nodded,

"Ok Professor."

Alisha picked up a fresh notebook and began writing down the questions Sheyaan needed to solve.

"Sheyaan, these are your questions which you have to write and also memorize, okay?"

Alisha said in a soft but impactful tone.

Sheyaan replied with a sweet smile,

"Ok Professor."

Alisha placed the notebook in front of Sheyaan in which she had written the first question.

"Here, focus properly on this and listen carefully to what I say."

Sheyaan took the notebook in her hands and started looking at the questions. Alisha began to explain,

"Sheyaan, this is a Basic Maths question. It says:

Question: If a student needs 350 marks out of 500 for university admission, then how many more marks does he need to work for if he is currently getting only 200 marks?"

Looking into Sheyaan's eyes, Alisha said.

"The meaning of this question is, Sheyaan, that through this you will understand how to set a target and basic subtraction."

Sheyaan was listening to every single word of Alisha very carefully. Her full attention was on her professor's words.

Then Alisha said,

"Now the second question... for General Knowledge..."

While writing the second question in the notebook, Alisha said,

"Now here is your General Knowledge question:

Question: Write the names of the three most successful women in the world, and explain how they faced their difficulties."

Explaining further, Alisha said to Sheyaan,

"By solving this, you will get inspiration (courage) and develop a habit of doing research, okay? You will show this to me tomorrow."

Sheyaan listened carefully to everything Alisha said and nodded in agreement. Smiling, Alisha said,

"This is your homework. Now let's move on to further study."

Alisha taught Sheyaan very well. Sheyaan was so absorbed (busy) in her studies that she didn't even realize how time passed.

In this process of study, Alisha fulfilled her duty and was impressed by Sheyaan's dedication.

Before they knew it, it was 2 o'clock, and it was time to end today's study session.

Closing the notebook, Alisha smiled and said,

"Sheyaan, today's study ends here. Complete the homework I have given you properly. I will check it tomorrow."

"And yes...you're not supposed to just memorize everything. You have to understand each question properly alright."

Sheyaan quickly nodded and said with soft smile.

"okay professor I'll try my best to understand every question Alisha spoke again,

"her tone turning strict not try Sheyaan...believe that you can do it all perfectly. Okay."

"Absolutely professor."

Said with soft smile and full confidence.

"Now I'll take my leave... take care of yourself. Bye-bye!"

Alisha said while getting up.

With a cute smile, Sheyaan also said,

"Bye Professor!"

Alisha left the room, and Sheyaan, taking a breath of relief, picked up her books...

With a peaceful smile, Sheyaan picked up her pen and notebook and turned to leave the room.

Her heart felt light today, as if she had climbed the first step of her success.

But as soon as she stepped out of the room, the atmosphere suddenly changed.

Sheyaan felt as if someone had attacked her from behind. Before she could understand anything, someone released a strange light onto her neck.

That light was like a flashing lightning, wrapping around Sheyaan's neck like a chain.

That light gripped her neck so tightly that her breath got stuck. Her books and pen slipped from her hands and fell to the ground.

She tried to free her neck, but her strength was failing her.

In pain and fear, only a scream escaped from her throat.

"Aaaahhhh...!!!"

Darkness slowly crept into her vision was this the same power Zavian had sensed.?"
