That was when Grandpa finally realized the price he was paying, and tears welled up in his eyes.
That very day, he quit smoking for good.
Three years later, Grandpa passed away from lung cancer.
Grandpa and I were incredibly close, and his death destroyed me.
My mother said to me,
"Please, whatever you do, don't smoke. Don't repeat what your grandfather did to our family."
I agreed.
Now, at twenty-eight, I regret never having tried a single cigarette.
Because your goddamn game is so fucking awful that I got cancer anyway.
