Being cautious for anymore surprised attacks or ambushed along without a wind caster by their side. They became more wary of their surroundings as they were heading towards the entrance of Alvera. Along their way they haven't seen no mages or casters insight, feeling the grateful relief that Jin may have taken care of the remaining attackers they made their way at the gates. but they are soon confronted by guards as they stopped them from entering further through the gates of Alvera.
"Halt outlanders, in the name of our great capital of Alvera, state your business... wait" they say proudly for Alvera.
but the guards suddenly stutters in his words because they sees Dani's face crossing her arms and looking at the two of them. They quickly bow for her arrival then stand straight for their misbehavior.
"Our sincerest apologies Captain may you forgive our rudeness"
"You may, but No need for that. We just need to get into Alvera"
The two guards looked at each other with confused expression, but they still see her serious expression and try not to deny her any further. "Oh of course Captain. You and your... uh" Gale and Ralian look at each other nervously, but Dani had everything covered.
"People who assisted me with a certain problem I had. I trust they are good people"
"Yes captain, alright everyone open the gate, Captain Vixen is coming"
The rest of the guards patrolling the gates, hearing this all the guard station here then opens the gates allowing for the three to go through and into Alvera "wow Dani they all respect you"
"One of the many benefits of being a captain. That also my family's history of serving the king here since the start of Alvera"
As they all went into Alvera, Gale and Ralian sees a tavern nearby and headed towards there, much to Dani's surprise and also followed them inside the tavern. Heading into the tavern they see it was filled to the brim with fellow adventurers, merchants, mercenaries, and bounty hunters such as Gale and Ralian.
"Never known, so many adventurers would be in this tavern" Gale looking around the tavern with amazed in their eyes.
"Your forgetting that Alvera is the capital of Devandia. So of course most adventurers would settle here its popular to the people after all"
"Right I knew that, hehe" Gale tying to give themselves some confidence.
But they then sees a bounty board it caught their curiosity to see who on the bounty. It does feel second nature to Gale and Ralian since they have been doing it for a long time, as they head towards the board filled with flyers with wanted faces of the most dangerous and deranged criminals known to Devandia. But their attention was immediately caught as they see a flyer with the name Jin-sae Akaumo.
"Why is his name still have a bounty I thought we already claim the bounty" Gale whispering to Ralian.
"It's probably because we couldn't properly give Jin over to the one who placed the bounty on him" Ralian whispers back to Gale.
Then suddenly Dani grabs the paper with Jin's face and rips it to shreds as they can feel the discomfort from Dani still seeing her friend's face wanted after ten years reuniting.
"Sorry you had to see this side of me. We've been here long enough we should get going, now"
"Yes ma'am" Gale quickly to agree to Dani,
"Why would you, do that" Ralian being arrogant for Dani ripping the flyer.
"do I need to repeat myself. Because I prefer not to"
Feeling Dani's frustration overpowering Ralian's frustration, she quickly stopped herself before anything could get even more worse, then the three leave the tavern only meet up with a single guard. Gale and Ralian were confused a bit but then raised their weapons as to be ready to confront the guard but Dani stopped them raising her arm and to signal them to not engage.
"You always try to play your part" she chuckled at the guard
"Oh what gave me away, my face was covered this time"
"Uh what's going on?" Gale being confused as ever, however they heard footsteps approaching.
"No time lets go to a more private area"
The four began to walk towards a less populated area in the city, less enough for the guard to reveal himself it was Jin-Sae Akaumo.
"Jin?!" Gale and Ralian together said it in pure surprised to see Jin here in Alvera, disguised as one of the guards.
"Honestly Dani, back then you couldn't tell the difference between me wear anything I show you"
"I guess I been practicing"
"Anyways Jin when did you get here".
Jin explain to the three after their short separation from Jin using a bomb by collecting every spell cast by the mages. He first covered himself with a wind barrier to protect him to the blast, that knocked out every last mage in Jin's area when he first disabled with movement. After defeating the mages he then went to Alvera to meet up with the others that he knew by sensing their breathing patterns, but knowing he isn't allowed in Alvera he then spots a guard on patrol onto a nearby village close enough towards the city, waiting for the right moment he then levitates the unsuspecting guard lifting him into the air he then incapacitate by taking away his air supply just enough so he loses consciousness, then laying him down onto the ground he takes his armor then making his way to Alvera to meet up with the others in disguise.
"Wow you did all in such a short notice"
"You're forgetting that me and Venny are very proficient in stealth. An assassin and a spy"
"Right of course"
"Anyways we should be close to where the great mage is taking place. But there is somewhere I need to go"
"What why?" As Gale and Ralian don't know what Jin means by where he's going, Dani immediately knows where Jin is going.
"Jin why do you want to visit. Him"
"The question you should be asking. Why wouldn't I".
Jin starts to walk away from the others before they could ask any further till the others then to follow Jin, which he isn't surprised. Walking towards the dungeon nearby, and managing to keep a low profile, Gale, Ralian, and especially Dani feeling nervous meeting Venny, and old friend to Jin, and Dani, and it's the first time Gale, and Ralian are meeting, the assassin that took down, but not eliminate Edgar Vixen the captain of 18th Dainsmith Legion.
