Every heir of wonder stone had a unique weapon and command over a particular elemental force. The heir may wield their weapon however they wish, and the power stored within the stone equals three times the heir's body weight in their respective element.
For example, if an heir weighs sixty kilograms and his element is water, his stone contains 180 kilograms of water under his control and he can get that water out of his body to use it as he want
Each heir may also develop specialized techniques to enhance their combat and defense. However, if the stone's power remains unused for over a month, it will dim, losing its magic and seeking a new owner.
Long ago, when these wonder stones were still used openly among people, there lived an heir named ( Tominako Reed ) who had inherited the Stone of Water. He was not alone—he had three trusted companions, each wielding a different elemental power: lightning, fire and air. The country they lived in was vast and renowned but under the rule of a tyrannical king who oppressed his people.
Reed and his three companions—( Nomi ), ( Caesar ) and ( Henky )—formed a secret rebellion. Together, they defied the king, carrying out covert missions against the crown. But the king, using his authority and foreign alliances, eventually hunted them down. One by one, they fell. The last to die was Reed.
But Reed carried a secret skill—one that allowed him to absorb the powers of a dying heir. When one of his companions neared death, Reed would bite their neck at the vein, like a vampire, and inherit their elemental strength and weapon. He didn't steal their powers—they offered them willingly, trusting him to carry on their shared mission.
Despite the immense power he gained, Reed was ultimately overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies. In his final moments, as a soldier thrust a spear toward his head, Reed opened his mouth, and from it burst a radiant orb of light. It shot into the sky like a falling star, vanishing into the unknown.
He smiled one last time... and died.
The king paid the phenomenon no mind. All he cared about was that his enemies were dead, and he could resume his tyranny. However, the soldier who had slain Reed reported the strange event to a scholar of wonder stones. The expert speculated that Reed might have transferred his power to someone else, as is customary when a stone's heir dies without offspring.
The soldier investigated everyone close to Reed, but found no one who had received his powers. He dismissed the scholar's theory and eventually forgot the matter.
Centuries passed.
Then, for the first time in history, a new heir to Tominako Reed's quad-elemental stone emerged—not a single person, but identical twins, who inherited the full spectrum of his powers. They are the heroines of our story: Luna and Yuna.
Luna inherited fire and air, and armed with two weapons: a metal rod and a star-blade. Yuna inherited water and lightning, and is armed with a shield and a bow with enchanted arrows.
When the girls first awakened to their powers, they were taken in by mentors who taught them how to control the ancient energy of the wonder stone. The twins kept their identity a secret—even from their own family.
Now, back to our tale.
At present, Luna and Yuna were in a hospital, pretending to be victims of a recent attack on the infamous Seto Gang. For safety and secrecy, they had been placed in separate rooms, much to their dismay. They disliked being apart and loved spending every moment together.
From her room, Yuna called Luna on phone
"Luna?"
"What?" Luna answered groggily.
"Are you awake, or still being a lazy bum?"
" isn't it obvious that I'm awake because I'm talking to you right now idiot "
" Oh right "
" You'd better have a good reason for dragging me out of my sleep."
"Our family is coming soon to check on us. We have to stick to the same story we told the police, remember?"
"Right, and let's not forget our friends who'll be visiting too."
"Exactly."
"This hospital is boring. I want to go outside, take a walk, eat junk food."
"Junk food will land you right back in the hospital. Don't even think about it."
"Why do you always ruin the fun?"
"I'm not ruining anything. I'm telling the truth."
"Ugh, the nurse is coming with my meds. I have to go."
"Okay. Take care of yourself."
"You too."
Luna ended the call and pretended to sleep as the nurse entered. She injected Luna's IV with medication, noted something in the chart, then left—headed to Yuna's room.
Shortly after, the twins' parents and siblings arrived. Their mother, overwhelmed with emotion, wept for her daughters' safety. She had brought them each a strange herbal mixture, passed down from her grandmother.
The concoction looked terrible and tasted even worse—bitter and foul—but Luna and Yuna ate it without complaint, simply to comfort their loving mother.
They remained in the hospital for a few days, receiving visits from neighbors, classmates, and friends. Though their injuries were staged, the twins were touched by how many people came to check on them.
It reminded them that they weren't alone. Even if the world didn't know the truth about who they were… they were loved.
And their journey… was just beginning.
