The three of them sat down and began indulging in the sweets Luna had brought. It wasn't exactly a healthy meal—just sugar and more sugar. Once they'd finished, Luna collected the trash, tossed it into the air, and activated the fiery power of her stone, setting the garbage ablaze midair.
Jayden frowned.
"Why waste your powers on something as ridiculous as burning trash?"
"Because I want to. Is that a problem?" Luna replied nonchalantly.
"So, your element is fire?"
"Fire and air,"
"Two elements? That's impossible."
"You'll see for yourself."
Luna summoned her air powers, creating a fierce whirlwind around her, then flung a fireball high into the sky.
Jayden stood speechless. He had never heard of a stone wielder with two elements—let alone two stones. Yet Luna and Yuna seemed to defy every known rule.
"How is this even possible?" he asked, visibly confused. "First, you're both heirs to wonder stones—even though you're twins, which shouldn't be possible. Second, Luna wield the power of two stones? That's unheard of."
"I have two stones too," Yuna said gently.
"You too?! I don't understand any of this."
"I'll explain—"
"No," Luna cut her off.
"Come on, Luna. He's a new member. We can't just leave him in the dark like this."
Luna sighed. "Fine. Go ahead and explain."
Jayden nodded eagerly. "Please. My head's spinning with questions."
Yuna smiled and began.
"We're the heirs of the legendary Tominako Reed—the one who wielded the powers of four elemental stones. Before his death, Tominako sent the power of his stones through the skies in the form of meteors. One of those meteors reached one of our ancestors, and its power lay dormant… until it awakened in us."
She continued,
"Since Luna and I are twins, the powers split between us. I inherited water and lightning; Luna got fire and air. We also have reservoirs four times larger than normal."
"That explains everything," Jayden muttered. " So you both have two weapons and two stone powers each ? "
"Exactly. And we can use each other's weapons and powers—if we share blood."
"Blood?"
"Yes. Look," Yuna said, reaching into her bag and pulling out vials of blood.
"This is my blood If I give it to Luna, she can use my power "
Jayden added " and you could use her power if she gived you her blood"
" Right "
Luna smirked. "He's sharp."
Yuna nodded. "Yeah, he got it right away."
Jayden chuckled. "Alright, I admit it—you two might actually be stronger than me. But if I fought just one of you, I'd win."
"you can't be sure " Luna said without flinching.
"But Jayden, we're not trying to fight or kill anyone," Yuna added. "We just want to make allies."
Jayden said sarcastically
"Yet you fought Seto and his team."
Luna's expression darkened. "Because they tried to forcibly harvest our organs and kill us. Is that a good enough reason?"
"They didn't hurt you, right?"
"No," Yuna assured him.
"Good. I actually heard about Tominako Reed before. There were rumors someone inherited his power, but I never expected it to be twins."
"Neither did we, Anyway—what's your stone ? "
"Mine's lightning," Jayden replied.
Luna glanced at Yuna. They leaned in, whispering things Jayden couldn't hear.
"Mind letting me in on the secret?" he asked.
"We're just going to teach you a few things," Luna said. "Come with us."
The twins started walking and Jayden followed. They made their way to the transport box and used it to travel to another country. When they arrived, they headed toward a construction site.
"You're going to at least tell me what we're doing here, right?"
"Follow us and you'll knew " Luna said."
"Okay "
At the site, workers were hauling heavy iron beams up scaffolds. One of the workers spotted the twins and lit up.
"Hey, girls! You gonna help carry the iron again? We'll pay you, as usual."
"Yeah, and this guy will help us," Luna said, pointing to Jayden.
"Welcome aboard, sir. You look strong."
"Thanks, I'll do my part," Jayden replied.
Yuna put on gold-studded gloves. Luna wore only one and handed the other to Jayden.
"Put this on. Use your lightning power to carry a massive load up top. Yuna and I will do the same."
Jayden hesitated. "I could carry it all by myself… but aren't we supposed to keep our powers hidden?"
"Relax," Luna replied. "We've been doing this for ages. They think these gloves are just tech that makes the iron feel lighter. They're clueless."
"Why not use machines like everyone else?"
"They can't afford them."
"Then why start a project this expensive?"
"Because we helped them. They're building an orphanage here—for children displaced by civil wars."
Jayden paused, embarrassed. He had never thought to use his powers for something noble.
"You use your stones for good. That's rare. Most stone heirs are corrupted by their power."
"Our master taught us to walk this path," Yuna said.
"Then your master was wise."
Jayden picked up the iron Luna was about to carry.
"Hey! That's my load!"
"Just trying to help—like you two do."
He grabbed Yuna's load as well.
"Jayden, let me help—"
"No. I've got this. You two rest. Just grab us some pizza later."
"Fine. But it's on our dime."
Yuna handed him a note.
"Here's our next training session—next month. We use our powers monthly for good deeds, to keep them active and do some good in the world. Sometimes, we use them just for fun."
Jayden smiled, placed the iron down, and took the paper.
Yuna : " We'll get your food , sir "
They returned via the transport pod after a hearty meal. Jayden had parked his car far from the training site to avoid suspicion and preserve secrecy. On the way back, three large men emerged from the trees—tattooed, with sinister faces. Members of the Red Hands organization.
"Do you need something?" Luna asked.
One stepped forward.
"We need you and your twin . You'll come with us, quietly."
"Why? Is there a party waiting?"
"We're here to finish what Team Four couldn't."
"Oh, you mean that idiot Seto's team?"
"Yes. We've already dealt with the guards protecting you."
"Bribed or murdered?" Yuna asked.
"One of each."
"And you think you'll succeed where they failed?"
"We're elite. You're coming with us—one way or another."
Luna, Yuna, and Jayden burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" one thug asked the other with him
"No idea. But if we have to kill them, so be it. We only need their organs."
The three pulled out guns and fired. Luna stepped forward. The bullets turned midair and struck one of the attackers in the shoulder. They froze in confusion.
Jayden stepped forward, his face grim. One thug charged. Jayden dodged easily, tripping him and slamming his head into the ground repeatedly, blood pouring from his face.
The other two charged in fury. Jayden drew his weapon and decapitated one with a single throw. The last man panicked, fired at Jayden—but his bullets bounced harmlessly off Jayden's electric armor.
Jayden lit a cigarette. "You guys really are idiots."
One of the thugs said
"Who the hell are you? Some kind of bodyguard wizard?"
Jayden : " I thought elites were supposed to know things. Didn't gather intel ? "
"We never saw you with them "
Luna : " Because we didn't let you "
" What? "
"We knew you were watching. So we let you see only what we wanted."
"So you mean…? "
"Yeah. We're about to kick your ass , you and your two friends " Luna grinned.
Yuna : " But only two of them are left so we will kick his ass and his other one friend "
Luna : " don't spoil the mood "
The last man ran for his car. But it wouldn't start. No matter what he did, it stayed dead. He gave up and ran—only to find Luna and Yuna suddenly standing in his path.
"Miss us?" Luna asked, mocking.
"Are you two witches?"
"Last guy who asked that got a bullet to the brain," she said coldly.
He lunged, enraged. Yuna raised her hand, sending a wave of water that froze his feet to the ground.
"What are you two?!"
"Why does everyone always ask that?" Luna groaned. "Why not something new—like our favorite color?"
He fell silent, then muttered,
"The Red Hands will avenge me. Everything's recorded on the devices in our vests."
"You know why your car didn't start?" Yuna asked.
"Some curse?"
"Nope. I drained the battery—with my lightning powers. All your tech is dead."
The man checked his phone—it was indeed dead.
Luna stepped closer.
"Any last words?"
"S—"
He didn't finish. Luna burned his head to directly kill him.
"Too slow," she smirked.
Jayden caught up with them.
"You two okay?"
"Yep," Luna said.
Yuna : "What about you Jayden ?"
Jayden : "Killed the one who attacked me and the other. Now let's get you two home."
He drove them home, then returned to his apartment, where he collapsed onto the couch, lit another cigarette and murmured,
" Today was special. I did some good—and crushed some evil. Not a bad day at all."
