"Karlye ...Karlye ...stop am out of breath " Andriana pulled back stopping him.
He looked at her pale face and let go of her hand.
She breathed , he had blindly dragged her off, with nothing in his mind but to get her away from his parents.
"They seem to like you more than me " he mumbled.
She chuckled, "Are you jealous right now ...of your own parents ?"
He looked away not answering.
Andriana took his hand, "Look at me "but he didn't move, "if you don't turn back right now you won't see me for ....." he turned before she could finish.
She giggled hugging him.
"Come on we need to get back, now " she said
But he pulled her back, "Can we talk before we head back ?".
"Alright, what is it about ?"
"It's been bothering me for awhile but I didn't want to bring it up, I felt like you had every right not to explain or tell me but it's still ...." he was having a hard time expressing his feelings.
He felt her warm hands hold up his face, "What is it love " she asked.
He found himself lost in her beautiful eyes.
"Why didnt you tell me about your sister's situation or your abrupt decision of moving back?.....it felt like you didn't trust me at all "he let out.
She blinked, "For my sister, it was more of a stupid belief. I didn't want to get excited and jinx it. In the past everytime I got something good and got so happy it didn't last or I would face something terrible soon after ...so this time when I saw that she was showing signs of waking up I decided to wait ,scared that if I did say anything she might not ever wake up... I am sorry if it hurt your feeling not telling you anything".
He pulled her back into his arms.
"No I am sorry I shouldn't have thought that way in the first place".
"And the reason I wanted to move back was that I didn't want your parents to think I was only interested in your money or status and also ...wanted a little personal space " she murmured.
He pulled away, "My parents did think that especially my father but he soon changed his mind even before you decided to move back, I am sorry you felt you needed to do that to prove yourself ....they need to apologise " he frowned.
"He did a while back, your father apologised" she told him.
"That's good then " he kissed her forehead but then muttered, "Why would you want personal space, do I ...am I clingy ?"
She blinked , "it's not that ...it's just that my body has started to change and I don't feel comfortable about you seeing me.... I didn't want you to notice so I decided to move back to my place before you could see the changes " she explained .
He chuckled whispering in her ear.
"But I had noticed all changes already ".
"What!...you did?" she exclaimed pacing back.
He nodded, "Your terrible morning sickness ... frequent visits to the toilet and being tired every time. You tried to hide it with work but it was clear how much you just wanted to lie down and sleep ....and when you did you slept like a baby ".
Andriana giggled looking away. He bent back to her ear, "and I can't forget how bigger your breasts got "
She pulled her coat tighter around her chest and turned away.
"You're a pervert " she yelled running off. He laughed running after her.

After Karlye and his parents left, Mira who had just arrived stayed back with Rosie as her sister saw them off.
"See you both at the opening " she said as they got into the car.
"We won't miss it for anything " said Lucas.
Karlye kissed her cheek, "Go back in it's getting cold" he said.
"Mm drive safely back " she said to him.
"I will " he said getting inside too.
Karlye's mother popped her head out of the car window, "Andriana dear we forgot to tell you something " she said.
Andriana got closer, "What is it mother ?".
"Lucas and I might have accidentally told your sister about your pregnancy. I am sorry we didn't know she knew nothing about it " she apologised.
Andriana felt her heart skip a bit but smiled back at the worried woman.
"It's alright mother, it was bound to come out. I was just waiting for the right time " she said.
"Go in and talk to her , I hope things work out " Lucas pulled his wife back in.
She nodded waving back at them. Karlye who had been ready to come out was stopped by her single smile.
Andriana walked back into the hospital, and when she got to her sister's room Mira excused herself, using the excuse of grabbing drinks for them.
"She seems a little off " she whispered to Andriana before leaving.
The moment the door closed her sister spoke.
"Why didn't you tell me ...is it because you think I'm going to judge you " she let out.
Andriana fell silent, staying frozen in place with her head down like she was ashamed.
"This is your life Andriana, I can never judge you, you have been living your life by your rules so why would a person who doesn't know what you have gone through or how you got here have any right to judge you ". She cried.
"I thought you would ...I ...I turned out just like mom, I thought you would be disappointed in me "
Rosie scoffed through her tears.
"What ...can you hear yourself. You're nothing like mom and you will never be. And why would I be disappointed in somebody who worked multiple jobs just so she could keep me in one of the best hospitals, someone who endured all pain just so she could be able to make her comatose sister proud ".
"Rosie .. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you " she cried.
"I know you didn't mean to ,but my dear sweet sister dont you dare make that child feel like they are not loved, be proud that you're pregnant with the child of a man who almost worships you " Rosie gestured for her to come closer.
Andriana chuckled running to her, and they hugged wiping each other's tears.
"It's not that I don't want to show it off or love it publicly. I am just worried about Karlye. It seems his past engagement hasn't been called off yet and I don't want to be in the public attention...so I thought what if this all ....."
Rosie covered her mouth.
"That man is serious about you and his parents wouldn't have come all the way here if they didn't believe in the relationship ,they consider you there daughter in law already .And as for the public ,sooner or later they will find out so why not just go ahead and do it " .
Andriana smiled hugging her.
"I guess I let that crazy woman fill me with crazy ideas and silly fear " she mumbled.
"Which crazy woman ?" Mira had returned.
Andriana bit her lip, "can't you pretend to not have heard ".
Mira placed the drinks aside getting closer to them.
"Tell me who has been messing with you right now" she sternly asked.
