Andriana walked into her sister's room. Placing the flowers beside her bed in a flower vase.
"I am back, I hope you didn't miss me that much "
She sat down, taking her sister's hand.
It has been three years now, and she had shown no signs of waking up.
"Mira sends her regards, and Samantha says she will visit soon ", she muttered, rubbing her hand.
She stared at her still face, holding back her tears.
No matter how many years went by, she still felt guilty seeing her sister lying there, almost lifeless, all because she was shielding her from the impact of the accident.
"You know I dreamt about mom, and she told me to take care of you "She bit her lip, her tears stinging.
She sniffed, "And I promise I will ...so please open your eyes soon. I will be here waiting " wiping her tears she went in " I made a new friend ...but maybe his more closer to me than that "
She smiled.
"We haven't had the chance to talk about exactly what happened between us but I enjoy being in his company ". Andriana looked back at the door, " he came with me but decided to wait outside and dont worry, he's not like the others, he treats me well".
Karlye turned when the door opened and Andriana walked out.
"You okay ?" he asked.
She nodded as they left the hospital.
"Do you have anything planned for the weekend ?" he asked as they got into his car.
"No , am free. Going to catch up on some sleep " she said.
He chuckled but didn't say anything more . Karlye had wanted to invite her over to his place, but decided otherwise.

"Why are you being gloomy and making us face your wrath when it was your fault " David glared at Karlye.
"She said she was catching up on sleep. How could I stop her, she deserve the rest after working hard the whole week ".
David scoffed.
"Then stop being so down, it was your decision not to invite her so deal with it "
"Will it be weird if I said I miss her ?"
"No it won't, for your face and mood say the same. You have her phone number, call her, maybe hearing her voice will make you feel better," David suggested.
Karlye picked up his phone making the call.

Andriana felt her phone ring waking her up. Still half asleep she picked up.
"Mmm ..."she answered.
"Did I wake you ?" he could hear her lazy voice.
"Mmm", she replied.
Karlye smiled , she was still half asleep.
"Alright, go back to sleep ", he said, hanging up.
David glanced back at him.
"Feel better ?"
Karlye shook his head.
"I miss her more "
"Well you need to put those feelings aside for now and take a look at this " David passed him the documents.
"That accident that happened was intentional " he said.
Karlye frowned.
"You mean someone planned to cause the accident? "
"Their intention was clear , they wanted them dead. If it wasn't for the mother turning the car before it was fully knocked over, then it would have been worse ". He explained.
"I guess you found out who was behind it ?".
"Yes, it was the father. Immediately after the mother was announced dead he collected the insurance money worth five million. He didn't attend the burial and disappeared a few days later after getting the money " said David.
Karlye's eyebrows furrowed.
"Wasn't it investigated?".
"No, the case was closed as an accident since he paid off the detectives, and since the two daughters had no idea about the insurance, it was never brought up ".
"So he planned the accident to kill them so he could get the insurance money, where is he now ?"
"Right now he just came back to the country , he blowed off all the money on drugs and women".
"Does he know Andriana and her sister's whereabouts?".
"It's not confirmed yet since he hasn't made any move towards her ".
"Good, keep it that way ", he said.
