Andriana was at her desk when she heard the others speak about Mr Worm.
He had been taken away by the police on charges of sexual harassment and office bullying using his power as a superior.
She went on with her work, trying to push it out of her mind, but it wasn't easy with everyone talking about it.
She had felt lighter after deciding to take action on Mr Worm. And she was glad the CEO was on her side.
She wanted to call Karlye and tell him about it, but stopped herself, remembering she had lied about how she had burnt her hand.
"He would get even angrier if he found out " she muttered to herself. So she decided to call Mira instead.
"You finally called I was starting to get worried. Did it work out ?" asked Mira.
"Mm, he's been fired and arrested ", she said.
"Wow, that's my girl I'm proud of you " Mira sounded happy.
"Thank you for supporting me " she said.
"I did nothing that was all you. You finally taking that step that's all that matters"
"I didn't know it would be so easy if I did. Things worked out so well, I feel so happy," she smiled.
"That's the spirit, we are celebrating tonight. So be ready by five, I will pick you up," decided Mira.
Andriana wanted to reject, but decided it had been long since they all drank together.
"Alright ".
"Oh my, I thought it would take a lot of convincing, but you seem to be in a good mood ".
She agreed, "I am. so make sure you get me drunk tonight ".
Mira laughed accepting the challenge.
"One more thing, how did you convince your boss. I don't think he would simply accept your words without proper proof ?" She asked.
Andriana remembered the footage.
"It seems he had acquired footage from the security from that day . So all he needed was my testimony ". She explained.
Mira breathed, "Well, at least he played his part. If he had failed, I was going to sue them all ".
Andriana chuckled.
Later, Mira picked her up on time and drove off to the bar so they could celebrate.
Andriana, who had taken a while, hesitated to take a sip of her drink.
"Come on now, you promised to get drunk, so go ahead, said Mira, trying to push the drink to her mouth.
Samantha stopped her.
"Come on, don't force her. She needs to do it herself".
Andriana closed her eyes and downed the glass in one gulp. Mira clapped overjoyed at the sight.
"Here, drink more ", she gestured for another from the bartender.
It wasn't until Samantha held them back that they finally stopped. Mira couldn't stand and kept holding onto Andriana.
And Andriana, on the other hand, was crying her eyes out as she kept drinking.
"I knew this would be a disaster. Now what will I do with you two " Samantha cried out.
Her phone rang it was her husband calling.
"Honey ..." She cried.
"Are you crying , what happened ?" he asked.
"Mira and Andriana are drunk ,what should I do ?" She let out.
"Oh, I can come pick you guys up, just tell me where you are ", he offered.
"No, I know you're still not better yet from your fever, so stay in bed ". She instructed.
"Then what will you do? Can you handle them both?" he asked.
Samantha sighed, gazing at the two now heading to the stage.
"Don't worry, I will be home soon, love you ", she hung up.
The two drunk women were trying to take the stage from the band that was playing.
Samantha checked Andriana's bag, calling Karlye. He picked up immediately.
"Andriana are...." She stopped him.
"She is drunk so can you come pick her up. I will send the address " she asked.
"On my way ", he said, hanging up.
"Alright, next one ", she reached for her boss's phone and called David.
"I thought you didn't want to talk to..." she cut him off.
"She wants to talk to you, so come pick her up ... I'm sending the address now ", she hung up, not giving him a chance to say anything.
Samantha sat back and watched the two friends sing as they supported each other not to fall due to their intoxicated bodies.
Karlye arrived first and David followed him soon after.
"What are you doing here" David asked.
Karlye ignored him the moment he spotted Andriana.
Samantha stood up.
"These are her things ", she said, giving him her bag and coat.
He took them and moved to the stage. David was right behind him after seeing Mira.
"Andriana, it's time to go home now ", he called to her.
She blinked recognising his face.
"Mira, I think I am super drunk ... I'm seeing him now,", she giggled.
"If it's alcohol, then that explains why I'm seeing that fool too," she pointed at David.
David scoffed.
Andriana moved towards Karlye, and he gently took her hands, securing her in his embrace.
"Oh my, you're so handsome ", she giggled.
He chuckled walking away with her in his arms.
"Don't take my love from me, bring her back", Mira cried out, chasing the two, but David held her back.
"Come on, let's take you home too," he said, but she pulled away.
"And who are you to take me home" she said.
He sighed, grabbing her hand again. Mira tried to push him off, but his grip was strong.
"I have every right to take you home, I'm your boyfriend ", he muttered.
She glared back at him, "I don't date liars, so let me go ".
He frowned, and before she could try to pull away, her body was up in the air, then down to his shoulder.
She yelled out, "What are you doing ,put me down "
David walked to Samantha, who passed her things to him, then watched as he took off, with the still yelling Mira.
