" I will see you later " said David.
Karlye nodded seeing them off.
David was to return with the needed medication for Andriana.
Karlye noticed the flowers and sighed.
Andriana opened her eyes , her sight was foggy, and her body felt heavy.
She caught sight of something pink next to her bed , it was the flowers Karlye had bought her.
The moment his name popped into her head, she remembered seeing him in her living room. Was it he who had placed the flowers there?
The door opened and he walked in.
His hair was down, his sleeves folded, and the first three buttons of his shirt were open exposing his chest.
"You're awake ", he said as he sat down next to her.
She had seen the IV drip connected to her.
"Mmm, how long was I asleep ?" She asked.
"Two days, how do you feel now ?" his hand was caressing her face. Gently he pushed her hair behind her ear.
"My body still feels heavy, but I think my fever is gone ", she weakly smiled.
He moved, leaning forward, and she froze as his forehead touched hers.
"Your temperature has gone down " he muttered.
"Mmm", she gulped.
Karlye breathed, "You scared me. It was heartbreaking seeing you that weak and in pain"
She blinked, "I am sorry I made you worry ".
"Don't be, I am glad I was with you so I could look after you " he let out.
"Thank you for being here" she murmured.
"Please don't get hurt anymore or get sick, it breaks my heart seeing you in such a state" his hand slid into hers.
Quietly they pulled back, her green hazel eyes stared into his.
He moved closer, his hand back at her neck, she followed his lead, leaning in as his face got closer to hers.
Andriana closed her eyes, feeling his lips meet hers. He kissed her so gently, as if she wer scared he could crash her .
"And if you do get hurt, come to me ...okay " he breathed.
She nodded .

"You're here,", David smiled at Mira, who had just arrived.
"Get out of my way ", she pushed him aside.
"A hello won't hurt " he closed the door.
"I don't speak or associate with liars " she muttered.
David sighed.
"But I already apologised about that and it hasn't changed how I feel about you ".
Mira placed her coat and bag aside.
"I don't want to hear it, and please keep your distance from me ", she said, heading to the bedroom.
David sat back down.
"You haven't made up with your girlfriend " Karlye came in, seeing his friend's frowning face.
David sighed.
"I don't think she still considers me her boyfriend "
"You shouldn't have lied to her " he said.
David glared at him, "Look who is talking, you have no right to say that to me ".
"Fair ", Karlye leaned back, chuckling.
"When do you plan to head back to work , you have been here for three days now ".
"The company can still run without me. " You and Dad can still manage," he said.
"Mira is here; you need to go home, too. Take a shower and rest ...have you seen the bags under your eyes " David pointed out.
Before Karlye could answer someone else spoke.
"His right, you need to take a break. You can go ahead am here now. And her fever is gone now " said Mira.
Karlye ended up agreeing; he didn't seem to want to go, but Andriana said he needed to rest, too.
"How far with the investigation?" Karlye asked the moment they got into the car.
"It's done, if you say the word, we can destroy him ", said David.
"No, I want her to decide what to do to him. He's been harassing her for so long, so I want her to make the decision, not me or anyone else," he said.
"Alright , so your going to tell her or we let the CEO do it for us " asked David.
Karlye glanced at the car window .
"Give it to him and tell him what to do . I don't want any mistakes or harm coming to her again" he let out.
"Will do " the car stopped . Karlye stepped out but David stopped him. "Oh almost forgot , your mother is back and she has a surprise for you ".
Karlye frowned.
"Does she know about Andriana ?".
"I don't think so and i believe godfather hasn't said anything either ".
"Good , keep it that way . I don't want her and her crazy ideas spoiling this for me " he got out closing the door.
