Andriana's eyes popped when she saw him walk out of the elevator. He looked around, and their eyes met.
She smiled waving, he smiled back and rushed to her.
"Did you wait long?" he asked.
"No I just got here "
"Come on, let's go ", his hand slid into hers, leading her away.
Andriana could see the surprise on the receptionist's face as they walked past her hand in hand towards the elevator.
They got into his office and the moment he closed the door, Karlye pulled her close.
She didn't move letting him hug her, a smile hanging on her lips.
"Should we eat " she muttered when he didn't pull away.
"Mmm, come ", they sat down .
Andriana carefully took out the food feeling his gaze on her.
"I hope it's up to your taste ....I didn't know what to get you " she pushed the beef tacos towards him.
"I got other dishes, but most of them are my favourite " she giggled.
"Thank you, I will enjoy it ", he said, starting to eat.
She felt happy seeing him enjoy everything she had bought ,joining him.
Andriana found herself telling him about work and the changes she found that were made.
He listened attentively as he enjoyed his food.
"I wonder why he keeps stealing glances towards me ...but I am still glad that I have less work now ", she wiped her mouth.
He helped her clean up.
"I will head back now " she said.
"So soon, can't you stay longer ," he got up.
She checked her phone shaking her head.
"I am sorry I can't, I need to be back before my lunch break is over " she said.
"Oh ...." he was closely behind her as they headed to the door.
Andriana suddenly turned bumping into his chest. His hand held her stopping her from falling back.
"Ouch ...sorry I didn't .." she touched her forehead.
"Are you okay?" his hand moved to the back of her head, moving her closer; her forehead was red now.
She blinked nodding.
"I am sorry, it's my fault, he muttered, rubbing the spot she had bumped into him.
She giggled.
Karlye met her gaze wondering why she was laughing.
"Oh, it's just that ... I'm happy ", she snickered.
The way her eyes closed and lips moved when she smiled mesmerised him.
"Can I kiss you ?" he uttered.
"Huh..." she blinked.
"You heard me, can I ?" he asked.
Karlye's eyes moved with her lips, and Andriana bit her lower lip as her cheeks changed colour.
He smiled when she nodded.
His fingers caressed the back of her neck as he held her softly. She raised her head, giving him access to her lips.
The moment his lips sealed hers, she held her breath; that softness and warmth still the same as their first kiss.
He felt her left hand grip his coat as she tiptoed to match his height .
Andriana gasped when his arms lifted her up in the air his lips still kissed hers, as he held her firmly in his arms .
Her arms embraced his neck, holding on to him, her fingers sliding into his hair as their kiss deepened.
It was wet, hot and deepened, sucking the air out of her. Andriana found it addicting making her drown further into the feeling.
Karlye could feel her arms and fingers on his neck and hair. He loved every feeling of it; he wanted more, but after what happened last time, he had promised to restrain himself.
Slowly they pulled away, gasping for air.
She looked down at him realising he was staring at her.
She chuckled and he followed, gently placing her back down.
He bent down, picking up her bag, which she had let go of when he kissed her. Andriana fixed her hair and attire.
"I think I will leave now " she muttered.
"Mmm, let me see you out " he said.
Karlye opened the door and looked back offering his hand to her. She took it and he led her out.
His car was already parked outside waiting for her.
"Let him take you back, so you won't be late " he said.
She nodded thanking him.
Karlye walked back inside after the car drove off.

"What ...you guys already kissed ?!" Mira yelled.
Andriana nodded.
"I thought you were taking a break from dating ?" asked Samantha.
"I am but ..." Andriana started but Mira cut her short.
"Forget that, I want to know the details of that kiss, how it happened and what happened after ", asked Mira.
Andriana blinked.
"Actually, it has happened twice already", she said.
"Wow Andriana ,wow . You have stepped up your game since you broke up," she muttered.
"What, no ..it's nothing like that ", she said.
"Okay, tell me more about those kisses " said Mira.
Andriana sighed.
"The first kiss was at his place, it just happened ....but then something made me push him away ".
"What ... doesn't he know how to handle a lady ?" Mira yelled.
"No, it wasn't his fault, but mine. When his hands moved lower to my thighs, something flashed in my mind, and I suddenly got scared ".
Mira sighed, taking her hand "Is this because of what that bastard did to you?"
Andriana nodded.
"I didn't know it would affect me this much but I got so scared and ran away ".
"And how did he react ?" asked Samantha.
"He ran after me apologizing even when it wasn't his fault . He promised to wait until I was fully comfortable with him ".
"Well, I'm glad his a gentleman", commented Mira.
"As for the second it was at his office," she said.
"Mmm, you just keep surprising me. And how did this one feel ?"
Andriana smiled.
Samantha and Mira chuckled.
"Guess it was that good "
Andriana nodded.
"He treats me like I'm something fragile that will break any moment . I keep telling him I'm not that weak, but he doesn't listen ".
"He didn't seem to want to let you go when he dropped you off" said Samantha.
She had seen them arrive ,Karlye didn't seem to want Andriana to go in as he kept holding onto her hand.
"He kept holding onto her hand " she added.
"Oh my, you even hold hands ". Mira turned to Andriana.
She giggled.
"I don't know when it started but I don't mind holding his hand "
Mira moved hugging her.
"You're happy that's all we want for you "
"Thanks, guys ", she hugged her back.
Samantha joined in and they fell back laughing.
