Mira arrived at Lockhart's residence early in the morning. She had packed Andriana some clothes from her place.
Karlye came in later while Mira was on a call, and Andriana was fixing her hair, seeing his image in the mirror, she turned back.
"Good morning " she smiled.
"Did you sleep well ?" he asked.
She nodded . ".
He pushed the strands of her hair behind her ear nodding.
"Mira told me about your plans for today " he said.
"Mmm, I can't miss it " she said.
"I understand, I need to be somewhere, but I will be back by midday, can we have lunch today?" he asked.
She agreed, after Andriana left with Mira, Karlye got ready to go meet his father.
He had wanted to go along with Andriana or stay home and wait for her but his father had threatened him.
He had somehow got information about her and used it to get him to come meet him.
"You're finally here, son ", his father smiled when he arrived.
Karlye didn't say anything and took a seat.
"Your mother sends her regards, she could get enough of the beautiful beach and decided to stay back for a few days " said his father.
"What do you want old man ?" he finally spoke.
"Old man! " his father scoffed, "I heard what happened from David. How is my daughter-in-law doing ?"
Karlye's face changed as he softly turned to face his father.
"So you agree ?" he asked.
His father smirked, "Now you want to talk ".
"If it's about her, then yes ", his son replied.
"It's your life, son, we will support you in anything. Just make sure to hold back when killing anyone " said his father.
"I didn't just kill them, I was just defending myself " he said.
"Whatever you say son, so when do I get to meet her ?" his father asked.
"Soon, just don't invade ger privacy and please don't tell mom yet," he stated.
"Okay, so will you have dinner with me ?"
"No " his son rejected, "I need to be home by midday, as I'm having lunch with her "
"Oh, I understand next time then. Then I will call my godson, David, who is much better company than you," said his father.
Karlye got up, "yah go ahead, hope you both enjoy it ".
Mira pulled Andriana in for a hug, every time they came to the hospital or the cemetery, Andriana got sick, or her mood was cold for weeks.
She hated seeing her friend like that.
"We have a lunch date to get you too " she whispered.
"Oh, I forgot about that, and it's not a date, we are just having lunch ", she sat up.
"Hmm, alright if you say so " Mira kissed her forehead starting the car.
Andriana giggled.

"Have fun on your date " Mira said as the car stopped.
"It's not a date ?"stated Andriana.
"Tell that to him " Mira gestured.
Andriana turned to see Karlye walking to the car. He opened the door for her offering his hand.
Gently he helped her out, his hand sliding to her waist as he led her away.
She waved back at Mira who was smiling.
When they entered the house she noticed the maids and guard all gone.
"Did something happen , where is everyone ?" she asked.
"I sent them away " he answered.
"Oh, is that okay. You have a huge home, don't you need someone to help ?" She sat down.
"I can manage, and I wanted to cook for you today "he stopped noticing her gazing up at him. "Something wrong ?"
Shaking her head she smiled.
"No, I'm just surprised you know how to cook ", she giggled.
He scoffed, "well you will get to see my skills in action today ".
Andriana sat back opposite the kitchen counter and watched him get ready to start cooking.
Her face was beaming as her eyes followed him around the kitchen. Surprisingly he knew where everything was and knew how to use the knife.
"Come here and taste this " he held up the spoon with soup.
She got closer and he bought the spoon to her mouth ,she tasted it and blinked.
"Oh my ,that delicious" she giggled licking her lips.
He chuckled as his eyes moved with her tongue moving over her lips .
She noticed his fixed gaze and covered her mouth.
"Something wrong with my mouth " she sounded worried.
Karlye flinched back realised what she said.
"Oh no your okay " he said.
"Really ?" she didn't seem convinced.
He placed the spoon aside and gently took her hands from her face.
"I am sure , nothing is wrong "he smiled.
She blinked as neither broke from the gaze . His blue eyes seemed to be searching something in hers and Andriana didn't want to look away.
She could feel him inches closer and closer to her face but then he stopped so she moved to him instead.
Karlye noticed her advance and bent down to match her height ,his forehead bumping softly into hers.
His hand slid to her neck while the other grabbed her waist bringing her body closer to his.
"Are you going to kiss me ?" she whispered.
"Will you let me kiss you ?"he asked back.
She nodded .
"Is that a yes ?" he breathed.
