Ruko was playing monster Hunter world he hadn't paid for the iceborne dlc instead there was a event where a silver rathalos and golden rathian we're nesting it was your job to capture both of them and study the difference from the ones born on the new world in the ones born in the old world as he was doing this mission he had done it at least eight times he was trying to get the new weapon that came out with the event.
Called the gilded royalty it inflicted both poison and fire damage and a high chance to inflict blast as well and continued for at least three maybe four days without sleep this was dangerous for humans as their brains needed sleep to continue working just as ruko slayed the sliver rathalos and looted its corpse his eyelids got really heavy as he tried to fight it his eyes closed as he slammed into his wooden floor face first and died due to sleep deprivation as his conscience and his soul drifted to a new universe completely.
He wondered what would he become maybe a Kaiju a demon dragon or a Saiyan only when he reincarnated could he truly tell as his consciousness landed along with his soul it was pitch Black as he tried to move around he was constricted he waved his arm as much as he could cause him to hear a whooshing mixed with splashing ever so slightly.
Ruko depicted from those sounds alone he must be within an egg so if he broke free then he could see what universe he reincarnated into ruko was one of those superstitious people that believed reincarnation was real all you had to do is be lucky enough to not get reincarnated in the same world meanwhile far below a slightly carved out cliff with a giant tree roots growing up the side was a golden dreadQueen rathian this is a dangerous combination golden rathians we're already dangerous.
But on top of originally being a dread Queen it became a golden variant by eating the bio energy of a rotten elder dragon corpse killed by nergigante nearing starvation currently this golden dreadqueen was the first time mother she ran away from her original nesting spot after her mate was slain by a group of hunters using deviljho,rajang,Sergios weapons being a dread Queen and becoming a golden rathian a couple of years ago boosted her aggression massively but on the verge of laying an egg gave her enough rationality to flee far.
She managed to make it a quarter of the way across the continent to a mountainus plateau where by carving out the mountain using her brilliant blue flames she managed to carve out a good 35 meter circle and mark it as hers and ended up laying the egg safely as she went to get some water she was attacked by a new set of hunters with water and ice weapons.
As she ran towards the one with dual blades the dual blade wielder taking this chance through one of their blades into her carapace as they barely dodged as the long sword user slashed at her heel she kicked him ferociously into a rock suddenly the gunlance user loaded up a compact frost bullet they shot it directly into the golden dreadqueen rathian mouth causing the heat to mix with the ice creating a pseudo dual elemental explosion.
A first at motherhood made the golden dreadqueen rathian who the guild in the area has named her Suki to become rational way more rational than a usual golden rathian as she took off into the sky and climbed back up to the plateau that Frost bullet to destabilized her fire as she looked around making sure no predators were around.
She quickly dropped her guard turned around to her only child even after mating with a silver rathalos Suki wasn't the most fertile of rathians she was born with a fertility disease expected to only have about 12 offspring throughout her lifetime on average rathians have about 35 offspring throughout their lives which caused her to become extra attached to her spawn.
Meanwhile back with the Hunters on the ground as they were confused the dual blade wielder named kazuma spoke kazuma:"don't worry I left when my blades in her carapace my scout flies remember the scent we can still track her before she destroys the guild" immediately the hunter set out to do the original mission that was given to them by The guild kill the golden rathian before she destroys the town and guild hall.
Meanwhile from ruko perspect someone had just landed up here he assumed it was his mother maybe his father that all depended on what he was if he was a dragon it was either parents if he was a dinosaur it was most likely mother he decided to hatch and find out he started moving wildly causing his egg to shake crazily as he nearly fell off the edge Suki was startled but she was also overjoyed her child was about to come into the world she quickly grabbed her egg as the wild shaking nearly caused it to fall off the edge of the plateau as the egg busted open more and more.
Suki peared over knocked the top of the shell off and stared her son a sliver rathalos well mostly silver his carapace was slightly copper color that copper coloration fully taking over on his tail and some on his wings as he locked eyes with Suki ruko printed immediately but he was also confused so he was reincarnated in the monster Hunter world very interesting considering he was literally just playing monster Hunter.
Suddenly they heard footsteps the absolute overload of maternal hormones caused Suki to turn around so fast with a fully charged fireball ready she unleashed it at mach speed just as the gun lancer known as Steve got to the top he immediately pulled out his shield and tried his hardest to deflect the attack was pushing them back and it was super hot even if his shield was made of anjanath scale infused metal and still had some of the skin in front of the shield for extra fire resistance it was still hot to him but he pushed it through as he's turned slightly to the side sending the fireball sliding past him.
But Suki would not let up as she gently lifted off the ground as to not blow her hatchling away boosted forward talons out and slammed Steve through the ground down the path leading up to her plateau suddenly kazuma jump down pull his door blade out and started attacking her from all sides as the longsword user Josh came running in with a spirit slash Suki slapped josh with her tail as he was horriforming like a samurai.
causing him to slam into the side of the cliff and one of her straight tail spikes to shatter into his armor and barely pierce his skin inflicting him with deadly/noxious poison causing him to see things what confused the trio was why Suki was trying so hard to not let them see past her they wondered what she was protecting Josh managing to pull out his antidote in time for the poison paralyzed his arms he managed to drink it.
And got a glimpse passed Suki as he shouted to his friends while seeing her nest he noticed a sliver rathalos chick recently hatched rising to its feet josh shouted to his two friends Josh:"she has a hatchling guild rules we have to fall back" as they agreed Josh got up picked up his weapon as they were running away Suki started charging something her flames went from goldish to Blue real fast she had no intention of letting her attackers escape.
As josh noticed this kazuma and Steve we're petrified josh begged for them to run Steve mustering up his courage called for a wing drink forcefully pulled the trigger on Josh's grappling hook causing him to grapple on to the leg of the wing Drake sending Josh back to the guild as Steve shed a tear Suki longer head back ready to unleash your attack before flinging it forward.
With immense speed as Steve pulled out his shield got in front of kazuma and tried to block the attack it was like an energy beam of pure blue fire Steve's shield was melting away fast is the molten metal droplets hit his body and burned him severely he noticed that kazuma had already dropped his weapons and accepted his fate just as he was about to tell him to run.
The blaze of blue fire exploded causing the entire section of the cliff to explode in a rock slide revealing tree roots ruko watched the whole thing as he wondered was this the power of a golden dreadQueen rathian he could tell she was a dreadQueen because she had so many tail spikes it looked like a spike to mace as Suki recovered from her devastating attack she turned around bluish black smoke smoking from the size of her mouth.
She licked her hatchling and covered him with her Wing so he could go to sleep she didn't want Ariel predators like Sergios or astalos taking a peek at her son and seeing him as an easy meal as drought season was coming up in the nest 2 years she would have to prepare both herself and her progeny even if it meant she had to hunt other apex predators to provide for her progeny.
Ruko what's the first of Suki's spawn which means she will always have a beyond unique attachment to him especially the journey through the world of monster Hunter was just beginning.
