"What are the terms, sir? Just tell me... My father needs immediate treatment for his heart condition. He's the only family I have in this world," asked Rossie, accompanied by a soft sob that escaped her full lips. "The condition is very simple. You just have to marry me, then bear a child for me!" Evander said, his eyes scanning Rossie's entire body with a thin smile.

Chapter 1 - 1

The scene takes place in a large room in a magnificent residence. In the silence of the night, Evan stares intently at the beautiful face of his wife, Shania.

Then, a moment later, his wife hears his characteristic deep voice, which she hates so much.

"It's been seven years, and you're still stubbornly refusing to get pregnant. Has your grudge against me not yet faded, my costretto?"

"Even if I die, I will never forgive you, let alone your wretched father," Shania replied sharply.

Evan looked up haughtily, amused by her words.

"Nonsense, shut your mouth! You know very well that this marriage was based on an arranged marriage and coercion from our respective fathers!"

"They had made a blood pact beforehand so that we could marry, or your father's shady business would be ruined if my family didn't help him."

"Actually, I'm only asking for a simple reward, which is to bear my child."

Shania's face immediately darkened and she dug her fingernails into her thigh until it bled.

"No matter what you say, I will never agree to bear your child!"

"You killed Ferdy. I even had a miscarriage and lost my baby because of that incident," Shania said breathlessly.

Evan took a deep breath and narrowed his eyes.

"You were the one who betrayed me first, Shania. We had agreed to follow our parents' wishes, but you chose to run away with your damn boyfriend instead. Didn't you think about my feelings, since I loved you?" Evan snapped, his face cold and dark.

Shania turned away. She had already had a boyfriend when her father forced her to marry Evan.

Finally, two days before Evan and she were to be officially married, she decided to run away with her boyfriend.

Shania was silent for a moment and monologued in her heart.

"You are indeed stupid, Evan. I deliberately went to the gynaecologist and had my womb closed so that your seed could not develop. It was solely to punish you," she muttered in her heart.

Shania finally turned her pretty face to Ray.

"So how long are we going to argue like this, Mr Alywar?!"

Evan rolled his eyes and grinned cruelly.

"My grandfather has given me an ultimatum. If you are not pregnant within seven years, I must marry another woman and make her carry my child," Evan replied flatly.

"I must have an heir immediately, otherwise Aaron will replace me as the successor to the Miller family business empire," Evan concluded coldly.

Aaron was the son of his uncle, Evan's cousin.

Shania Febiola, the wife of the handsome man, was taken aback for a moment, but then she smiled wryly.

"Do whatever you want, I won't stop you," she said with a chuckle.

Evan smiled slightly, got up from his seat and approached Shania, who was staring at him intently.

"It's good that you understand, but now I want you to do your duty and come with me to the bedroom," said Evan with an intimidating aura that could not be refused, while standing right in front of his wife and grabbing Raquel's arm.

"I don't want to!"

"You have no right to refuse!"

One month later

In another place, in a simple house on the outskirts of town, lived Henry and his daughter, Rossie.

Rossie was a girl in her early twenties, very beautiful with perfectly sculpted facial features and an ideal body, complemented by long, shiny black hair.

Henry was a horse groom at Evan's ranch, not far from the billionaire's residence.

Evan had been ill for two weeks, so Rossie, as his daughter, had taken over her father's duties.

After dinner, Henry sat quietly when suddenly the middle-aged man clutched his chest, which had suddenly become painful.

"Ahh... it hurts so much."

"Brakk..."

Henry tried to stand up but fell from his chair instead.

"Father...!"

Rossie ran to her father and helped him stand up.

"Father, what's wrong?"

"My chest hurts," Henry replied, panting, cold sweat covering his face.

"Knock... knock..."

A loud knock on the door startled Rossie, and the beautiful girl quickly opened the door.

Rossie frowned when she saw two uniformed police officers show their badges and say firmly.

"Good evening, we are here to take Henry Davis into custody as a murder suspect!"

Then the two pushed their way in and walked towards Henry, who was slumped weakly.

"Huh... what?!" Rossie's eyes widened spontaneously.

"W-wait, what's going on?!"

Rossie screamed hysterically as her father's arms were handcuffed and he was taken away by force.

"Officer, please don't take my father, he's sick, there's no way my father is a murderer, that's impossible, you must have the wrong person!" Rossie insisted, pulling at one of the officers' shirts.

"Sorry, miss, we have incriminating evidence against the suspect, so please don't obstruct our work."

Finally, Rossie could only watch with teary eyes as her father was forcibly led away and put into a police car.

"Dad, I'll accompany you to the police station," she said as she took her motorbike from the yard and started following the vehicle carrying her father.

Evan was sitting on a large sofa with one leg crossed, smoke billowing from the object clamped between his lips.

Evan was a handsome man with black hair and a strong jaw, his aura very dominant.

Soon, the sound of his assistant's footsteps approached.

"Mr Evan, everything is going according to your plan. Now the girl and her father are at the police station.

Evan stared blankly at Joel, his trusted assistant, then smiled slightly.

"Hmm... I told you, Rossie, you won't escape me!"

"Let's go to the police station and meet my future bride. Did you bring the agreement?" said Evan as he stood up and put on his jacket, which was draped over the edge of the sofa.

"I have it ready, sir, you don't need to worry," replied Joel quickly.

Rossie was still at the police station waiting for her father outside his cell. The beautiful girl was very anxious because her father looked restless and occasionally groaned in pain while holding his chest.

"Hang in there, Dad. I'll try to talk to those cruel police officers again. They are so inhumane,"

Rossie was very emotional because no one seemed to care about her father.

TAP TAP...

The sound of firm footsteps from expensive shoes reached Bunga's ears, and she suddenly lifted her face, which had been bowed in worry.

"Are you Rossie?!"

"I have something to discuss with you," the deep voice startled Rossie.

Evan was standing tall in front of Rossie, then he said while folding his arms.

"Y-you... aren't you Mr Evan?!" Rossie stammered nervously.

Evan nodded coldly.

"Yes."

Rossie immediately threw herself at the feet of the tall man.

"Mr Evan, please... please help my father. He is sick, but now he is being accused of a crime he did not commit!"

"Please free my father," begged Rosie pitifully.

Evan stared at the beautiful girl for a moment with a mysterious smirk.

"Stand up and let's sit over there!"

Rossie could feel the undeniable aura of authority from the man in front of her.

After they sat facing each other, Evan began the conversation.

"Listen carefully, Rossie. I will help get your father out of prison and treat his illness with the best care, but there is a condition."

Evan paused and exhaled deeply.

"What is the condition, sir? Just tell me... My father must be treated immediately because he has heart disease. He is the only one I have in this world," asked Rossie, a soft sob escaping her full lips.

"The condition is simple: you must marry me and bear my child!"

Evan said, his eyes never leaving Rossie's body as he scanned her from head to toe.
