The cold, mechanical voice startled Si Shuo from her unconscious state.
She rubbed her forehead and slowly opened her eyes. She was in a small stone cave. A few vines hung over the entrance, offering minimal privacy from the outside and letting in streams of dappled sunlight.
On a stone table rested five or six pieces of fruit and a strip of jerky, and beneath her was a stone bed covered with a yellowish-brown beast skin.
'I remember hearing news of a heart match before I passed out. I was so relieved that I wouldn't have to be a walking invalid anymore, practically living at the hospital. After the transplant, I'd be able to run, jump, get married, and have kids!'
'So how did I end up in a cave when I opened my eyes?'
"Si Shuo, you're awake?"
A full-figured young woman with orange hair entered, holding a fish and parting the vines at the entrance. Seeing Si Shuo sit up, her brown eyes twinkled. She smiled, came closer, waved a hand, and began to speak slowly:

Si Shuo looked down at the fish in her hands. 'The fishy smell is surprisingly tempting,' she thought, 'but raw fish is full of parasites. How am I supposed to eat this?'

"The Luoni Tribe really lives up to its name as one of the best large tribes in the southern Dongye Forest. The strongest Beastman in our Qianmiao Tribe is only a Level 3, but here, any random male you stop on the path is a Level 3. And the strongest ones are Level 8!"
"My fertility is superior, so I can definitely choose a male who's Level 6 or higher to be my first Beast Husband."

This girl was named Yu Jiao, the original owner's older half-sister.
Their mother was a tabby from the Qianmiao Tribe with superior fertility. Yu Jiao, an orange cat, was sweet and full-figured. She inherited her mother's impressive fertility and had been the center of attention since childhood.

The Beastmen all hurried toward the center of the tribe, to a large square built from countless stones of all sizes.
The square was tiered like an amphitheater. While most people stood around the edges, Yu Jiao pulled Si Shuo up to the third level. There, they stood in a line with a group of other young, unmated females, all possessing medium-to-superior fertility and sent from the various small and medium-sized tribes of the southern Dongye Forest.
On the level below them stood six rows of exceptionally powerful and muscular males. Even from five or six meters away, Si Shuo could feel the restless, hormonal energy!
A blush crept onto her cheeks. 'This damned bestial instinct...'
"Yu Jiao, why did you bring Si Shuo up here? She doesn't have the right to stand with us!"

Female Beastmen were born in human form. Their bodies were delicate and weak, giving them almost zero chance of survival in the wild.
Male Beastmen could transform into their Beast Form for combat. They were categorized into twenty levels based on Combat Power and had a chance of awakening a superpower. They were the main force for hunting and protecting their people.
The ratio of female to male Beastmen was one to thirty. Furthermore, the Beast World Continent endured long rainy and winter seasons.
As a result, a female with good fertility would typically have more than a dozen Beast Husbands to protect and provide for her!
Upon reading this, Si Shuo froze, completely stunned.
