As soon as Victoria and Rozer stepped out of the ministry office, the scene inside the cabin changed. The Minister's face slowly began to melt, and he revealed his true form—Aqua-Mortis. He opened an old cupboard kept inside the cabin, within which lay the bluish, lifeless body of the real Minister.
"Poor girl," Aqua-Mortis said with a vile laugh. "She thinks this report will save the city… while I myself am writing the city's fate. No matter what anyone does, the truth is that the people of Earth can no longer be saved from the calamity that is about to come. Hahahahaha…" Lost in these thoughts, Aqua-Mortis burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, several kilometers away from Earth, in Dark Heaven, Aethna sat upon her black throne. Everything was unfolding exactly according to the plan she had devised. She had used Samual as one of her pawns, and even Samual himself was unaware of it. Lightning crackled all around the Dark Goddess Aethna. The time had now come to begin the second phase of her plan, and for that reason, she summoned Rhinosorus to her side.
"Rhinosorus! The time has come. Samuel's army is preparing a plan to attack Earth, and this is our perfect opportunity. Immediately form a team of the ten most dangerous demons and reach the jungles of Arizona. The second fragment of the 'Body Armor' is buried somewhere there. If we obtain it, we will have at least one piece, with the help of which we can easily locate the remaining fragments of that body armor—and then neither that angel Lysandra nor her lackey, the secret admiral, will be able to hinder us in any way."
"Your Majesty! I am ready with my team of ten demons. I am merely waiting for your command. The moment you give the order, I will go to the jungles of Arizona and find that piece of armor for you," Rhinosorus replied, bowing his head.
"Very well, Rhinosorus. Do this—until Samuel's army attacks Earth, you and your team will simply wait. And the moment Samural sends his army to attack Earth, you will proceed and begin the search operation in the jungles of Arizona, and bring that body armor to me," Aethna said with a laugh.
Hearing Aethna's words, Rhinosorus bowed his head and left to prepare his team. There was a strange gleam in Aethna's eyes, as if she were planning the hunt for some colossal prey.
On the other hand, when Victoria returned to the Guest House from the ministry office, she was deeply troubled. Rozer tried to talk to her, but he knew that until Victoria found some way to help the people of Mexico, she would remain restless and would not be able to stay calm.
"Victoria, what happened? What did the Minister say? Will he help us?" Rozer asked, sitting beside her.
But Victoria did not reply. Without saying a word, she went into her room and locked the door from the inside. Her mind was trying to make sense of the Minister's strange behavior, and she could not understand what she should do to help the people of Mexico.
But perhaps something entirely different was going on in Roger's mind at that moment. After Victoria left, Roger looked around cautiously and began moving silently toward the old basement of the Guest House. It was quite dark down there. Roger touched a strange crystal bracelet tied around his wrist. A sharp light burst forth from the bracelet, and a blue portal opened on the basement wall.
From the portal, a dark shadow emerged. It was the same shadow that had once before come to meet Roger at the college.
Dropping to his knees, Roger said, "So, for the first time, you finally came just because I called you once, Mom? Answer me—will you ever stop your evil deeds or not? I have told you so many times not to do anything that would hurt my friends or make them suspect the truth about me—that I am your son. But you always deliberately do something or the other that makes people misunderstand me, and I end up paying the price for the wrong things you have done." Rozer said angrily.
Hearing Roger's words, the dark shadow slowly began to take on a human form from the black smoke. After a short while, the shadow fully transformed into a human shape—and it was none other than the Dark Goddess Aethna herself.
"What are you saying, Rozer? When have I ever harmed you or your friends? And at present, I am not doing anything that would cause trouble to the people of Earth. You are accusing me without any reason," Aethna said, looking at Rozer.
But Rozer had no trust in his mother, Aethna, at all. He knew that Aethna wanted to seize control of Earth, and for that, she could cross any limit.
That was why Roger shouted, "Tell me the truth. Is the dance of death happening in Mexico your doing? Was it you who took the lives of innocents with that contaminated water? Don't lie to me—there's no need."
Aethna draped her face in a mask of innocence, as if she were the most innocent woman in the world. She placed a hand on Roger's shoulder and said in a voice heavy with emotion, "Roger, my child… do you think so poorly of your mother? I admit that I have made mistakes in the past, but this time I am speaking the truth. I have no hand in the destruction of Mexico."
After a brief pause, Aethna continued, "In truth, an alien race has set its sights on Earth. Their General, Samuel, wants to erase all traces of humanity from the planet so that he can seize its resources. Even I am afraid that if they manage to take control of Earth, their next target will be Dark Heaven itself. And then—what would become of me?"
Roger, who had always longed for his mother's love, was swayed by her words. He began to believe that perhaps his mother had truly changed.
"All right, Mom. If this is what you're saying, then I believe you. But remember—if I ever find out that you are lying, I will never forgive myself. And who exactly is this alien race, and who is Samuel?" Rozer asked in astonishment.
But Aethna gave no answer to that question. She merely smiled, nodded her head, and vanished through the portal. As she left, her laughter echoed against the basement walls, and with it, the basement was once again swallowed by darkness.
Upstairs, in her room, Victoria made a major decision. She knew that nothing would change without action. She understood that the situation in Mexico was no longer in the hands of the government, and that civil war could erupt there at any moment—something whose consequences the entire country would have to bear. She immediately summoned the Truth Fairy.
"Listen, Truth, I've decided something, and you must go to my home in New York immediately," Victoria said gravely. "Aethna cannot be trusted. She might harm my parents behind my back. You must keep watch there at all times. Until then, I will stay here in Mexico and help the people here."
For the first time, the Truth Fairy did not joke, because she understood the seriousness of the situation. She nodded in agreement to Victoria. The very next moment, Victoria awakened her cosmic powers and transformed into the Secret Admiral. She leapt out through the window and began hovering over Mexico at lightning speed. Her plan was to keep watch over the land of Mexico from the sky and find out who was tampering with the water supply.
But she did not know that Aqua-Mortis was already two steps ahead of her and had moved on to the second phase of his plan. In this next phase, he had left Mexico and set out to spread poison across different corners of the world.
Flying through the skies of Mexico, Victoria now used her immense speed to circle the entire USA. Just then, the Secret Admiral's radar-like senses suddenly detected a strange energy near Los Angeles. She immediately pursued that energy and reached its source, only to see a demon—Aqua-Mortis—trying to contaminate the city's main water reservoir.
"So it was you behind this destruction. You poisoned water that was like nectar and turned it into venom, forcing the people of Earth to live in thirst. You will definitely be punished for this sin, you wretch!" the Secret Admiral roared, launching an attack on him with her blue shield.
A terrifying battle erupted between the two. Aqua-Mortis unleashed streams of toxic water, causing the Secret Admiral's armor to burn fiercely. The Admiral realized that her cosmic power was weakening against Aqua-Mortis's poisonous substance, because the presence of innocent civilians prevented her from fully unleashing her destructive abilities. She was still lost in these thoughts when, suddenly, Aqua-Mortis trapped her in a deep quagmire.
"So you are the protector of Earth? But alas, today you will die by my hands. I will absorb your angelic power into myself, and then use it to slaughter these humans," Aqua-Mortis shouted, laughing maniacally.
He had not even finished speaking when, all at once, a black shadow shot through them at incredible speed from a nearby alley. It moved so fast that even the Admiral's eyes could not properly perceive it. In a single instant, a gleaming sword severed Aqua-Mortis's head from his body. Aqua-Mortis's form dissolved into black smoke and vanished completely.
The Secret Admiral was left stunned by what she saw, because the speed used by that black shadow was beyond anything humanly possible. Until now, among all those wielding powers on Earth, the Secret Admiral represented the angels, while the rest were demons sent by Aethna. But this black shadow had appeared from nowhere and, in a single strike, had put one of Aethna's most powerful commanders into the sleep of death.
Yet after killing Aqua-Mortis, the black shadow did not stop there. Instead, it surged forward at even greater speed. The Secret Admiral activated her own supersonic velocity and began chasing it, determined to find out who that black shadow was and where it had come from.
The Secret Admiral had no idea that she was already trapped within a labyrinth woven by Aethna—and that a new character had now entered the stage. Whether this figure would be her friend or her enemy, no one yet knew.
