But hearing the Secret Admiral's words, the Truth Fairy too sank into deep thought. She felt terribly sorry for the Secret Admiral, yet at the same time she was angry with herself, because she could do nothing at all to help her friend. Today, the Truth Fairy felt a profound regret—why had God made her so fragile, and why had she been given no powers at all?
"I think for now I will have to use my powers first for the very purpose for which I was given this strength—and that is to help ordinary humans. That is why I am going back to that part of New York where the aliens attacked. In any case, their numbers are quite large, so very soon all of New York, and then the entire USA, will be affected by this alien attack." Looking at the Truth Fairy, the Secret Admiral said this with despair.
"But how will you face those aliens, Victoria? Do you have any plan? And the Black Ninja who was fighting alongside you—who is he?" the Truth Fairy asked, looking at the Secret Admiral.
"Look, I don't know much about that ninja. All I know is that perhaps he too is an enemy of Aethna, because in our very first meeting he cut off the head of the demon whom Aethna had sent to poison Mexico's water supply," the Secret Admiral replied.
"Look, if his motive is social work as well, then that's a good thing, and it will only help you—because you cannot stop the injustice happening everywhere on your own. But if he turns out to be your enemy, your troubles may increase in the future. And anyway, you should not trust unknown people so easily," the Truth Fairy said, trying to make her understand.
"Alright. I understand what you're trying to say. But now I have to go back and fight," the Secret Admiral said, moving into a position to take flight.
Just then, the Truth Fairy whispered into her ear, "Victoria, your clones are starting to disappear, and they won't be able to hold off those aliens for much longer. If you don't come up with a permanent solution to stop them soon, millions of people will die. That Ninja… he won't be able to fight alone. But there is one way by which we can stop those aliens, and that is—we must bring down the Mother Ship."
"All of that is fine, and I have tried this before as well, but I failed," the Secret Admiral said in a sorrowful voice. "Because there is an invisible protective shield all around that Mother Ship, which is not allowing me—or my powers—to reach it at all."
"Then first we will break that shield, Victoria," the Truth Fairy said with a smile.
"But how will the shield be broken?" the Secret Admiral asked in surprise.
A glimmer appeared in the Truth Fairy's eyes. "I am small—so small that their sensors won't be able to detect me. I will enter that Shadow Hunter ship and shut down its protection shield from the inside. The moment the shield goes off, you must attack the ship's main core with all your power!"
Hearing the Truth Fairy's plan, a spark of hope ignited in the Secret Admiral's heart, because the Truth Fairy truly was so tiny that it would not be easy at all for the Mother Ship's sensors to detect her. In this way, slipping past the Mother Ship's sensors and entering it would be quite easy for the Truth Fairy. And although the protective shield was guarding the Mother Ship from external attacks, if someone were to shut it down from within, the shield could be removed easily. To execute this very plan, the Secret Admiral returned to the ground, back to the Ninja.
On the battlefield of New York, the naked dance of death was still ongoing. Victoria's clones were slowly fading and disappearing, and the Black Ninja's sword, soaked in the blood of enemies, was beginning to tire as well. Yet within the Secret Admiral's heart, a ray of hope had now been lit.
"Hold things here—I'll do what I'm best at," the Truth Fairy said, looking at the Secret Admiral.
"Alright, Truth. Take care of yourself. The moment the shield goes off, give me the signal!" the Admiral said gravely.
The Truth Fairy looked at the Admiral one last time and then shot upward at lightning speed toward the gigantic Shadow Hunter Mother Ship. Down below, the Secret Admiral once again plunged into the battlefield, fighting the aliens and supporting the Ninja.
"Ninja! Handle the aliens present on Earth for a while. I have a plan to bring that ship down. If the Mother Ship is destroyed, we can stop the incoming aliens, and then finishing off the remaining ones will be easier for us. I'm going up!" the Admiral shouted.
The Ninja sliced off an alien's head, turned back, and said, "A plan? Alone? Have you lost your mind?" But the Admiral gave no reply and streaked toward the sky like a trail of blue smoke. She began circling near the ship, dodging enemy fire, waiting for the Truth Fairy's signal.
Inside, the Mother Ship's sensors were enormous—but they couldn't detect a tiny being like the Truth Fairy. They were designed to track humans of normal size or incoming ships and planes, while Truth Fairy was far too small. She noticed a small ventilation exhaust beside the ship's fuel tank and darted inside with incredible speed.
The interior looked like a world of its own. Green and pink lights flickered everywhere, and strange machines hummed and whirred. Using the power of her mind, Truth began scanning the entire ship. Within moments, she located the main control room through her psychic abilities—the very place from which the protective shield was being operated. On a massive console, a glowing red button stood out, with a screen above it flashing: "Shield Status: Active."
"Thank you, Jesus… finally, I've found the button!" she thought, a rush of relief flooding through her.
But as soon as Truth moved toward the button to deactivate it, the ship's alarm blared suddenly. In her excitement, she hadn't noticed the invisible web of lasers spread throughout the control room, and one of them detected her presence.
The alarm triggered a swift response—Samuel's high-tech robots and guards spotted her immediately. "Intruder detected! Small biological life form!" the voice echoed. In the next instant, they opened fire with laser pistols. Truth darted and dodged, trying to protect herself, but the sheer number of guards was overwhelming, firing at her relentlessly from all directions.
Suddenly, a laser bullet came hurtling at terrifying speed and struck the Truth Fairy directly in her left wing, forcing a scream from her throat.
"Ahhhh!" Truth cried out in agony and began to fall. Her wing had been scorched. As she was falling, she gathered every ounce of her mental strength and screamed a signal to Victoria, "VICTORIA… NOW! ATTACK! I've shut down the shield."
In fact, even as she was falling, the Truth Fairy had pressed the button with her other wing, disabling the shield that had been protecting the Mother Ship from external attacks.
The moment she sent the signal, the Truth Fairy lost consciousness and collapsed onto the cold metal floor. Samuel's guards immediately captured her, imprisoning her inside an energy cage.
Below, as the Secret Admiral hovered in the sky, the instant Truth's voice echoed inside her mind, her eyes filled with blue light. She saw the Mother Ship's invisible shield flicker for a moment—and then vanish.
"You've done it again, just like always, Truth," the Admiral said as she brought her palms together. She drew the entire energy of the cosmos into herself. The light erupting from her body was so intense that the people of New York felt as if a second sun had risen in the sky.
"COSMIC DESTROYER… FIRE!" the Secret Admiral shouted.
A colossal blue beam slammed straight into the Mother Ship's main engine core. A terrifying explosion followed. Fire erupted inside the ship, and chaos spread everywhere. The internal gunfire and the Admiral's external assault had torn the ship apart from within, leaving it so badly damaged that its shield could not be reactivated.
At that very moment, Samuel—who until now had been sitting in his cabin, watching the destruction of New York with satisfaction—turned his gaze toward his ship. General Samuel saw that his vessel was on the verge of destruction.
"No! This is impossible! How can this be? We must get out of here! Otherwise, all the inhabitants of my planet who came here trusting me will die along with this ship," Samuel thought to himself. He immediately ordered his pilots to initiate a light-speed jump.
The Admiral watched as the ship suddenly vanished from the skies of New York in a burst of brilliant light, disappearing somewhere into the depths of space.
That Mother Ship had been the very source controlling the aliens and robots fighting on Earth, issuing them orders. The moment the Mother Ship was gone, thousands of aliens and robots on the planet suddenly froze. Their "brain signal" had been linked to the main ship, and with its departure, the connection was severed. Lifeless, they collapsed onto the streets like broken machinery.
Silence fell over New York… and then waves of joy swept through the city. "We survived! The Secret Admiral saved us!" people cheered.
The Secret Admiral descended to the ground where the Black Ninja was standing. The Ninja sheathed his sword and exhaled slowly. "I'll admit, Admiral, you really pulled off something incredible. You forced the enemy to retreat in a single blow," he said, laughing.
"I cannot take credit for this miracle alone. You helped me, and so did my best friend Truth, in protecting the people of Earth. Only together could this victory have been possible," the Secret Admiral replied with a smile.
But then a memory surfaced, sending a ripple of unease through her heart. She glanced around. People were celebrating, the Ninja stood by her side… yet something was missing.
Truth Fairy was nowhere to be seen, even though according to the plan she was supposed to emerge from the ship as soon as the shield was deactivated.
"Truth?" the Admiral called softly. "Truth Fairy? Where are you? We've won the battle, the enemies have retreated… all of this happened because of you, my friend. Come back to me!" she sent the message through telepathy.
But there was no reply. General Samuel's forces had already trapped Truth Fairy in a high-tech cage designed to block all signals, preventing the Admiral's telepathic call from reaching her.
Panicked, the Admiral looked toward the sky where the ship had vanished. Her face went pale, and a deep fear filled her eyes. She realized—with a sinking heart—that Truth Fairy had not made it out of the ship… she was still inside, taken along as Samuel jumped back into the depths of space at light-speed.
Earth was saved, yes—but Truth Fairy was now imprisoned somewhere far away in the enemy's grasp. Could Victoria rescue her tiny friend? And would Samuel return, using her as a shield, to strike Earth again?
