Perspective Vittoria Agatino
I know it hasn't actually been that long since I last wrote in this but it feels like forever ago now. I guess I just decided to write because I felt like I wanted to leave a little more in this before anything happens. I suppose somewhere deep down inside of me I just don't want to believe that anyone will come and help us. It's probably because at the end of the day it's hard to believe anyone from this world will necessarily be good kind and willing to help. In a nutshell I guess I feel like even if people do find us why would they be good I just can't believe in things going our way because if they don't I think I'll break.
"Are you Okay?" Carbry asked.
"No I'm just... I just feel so useless like why am I even here what is even the point of me?" Vittoria asked rhetorically.
"Look we need someone with a level head and at least some kind of physical ability and fighting experience to stay behind when the gathering group goes out you know that." Carbry said trying to be comforting.
"I know I just why every time some talks about how someone will come to help us or save us do I feel like even if they do it'll get worse?" Vittoria asked almost breaking into tears.
"Hey it's... Well it's obviously not going to be okay nothing will probably be okay ever again but you can only keep moving forward till things change." Carbry said.
"I know I guess I feel less like I want advise right now and more like I just want to scream in someone's face so I can blame them or something I don't know." Vittoria said wiping away and tear sighing deeply.
"If it helps a-any I feel the s-same." Tillie said appearing from thin air since neither of us had noticed her I honestly almost had a heart attack.
"Oh... Well yes I... I suppose it does make me feel a little better thank you Tillie." Vittoria said as Tillie simply remained scrunched up like a bit of unloved chewing gum.
"Hey Tillie could you talk with Lina for me I was just thinking it might be a good idea to try and get everyone together so we can do a group thing to get all the suppressed emotions out." Carbry said.
"I-I'll try." Tillie said crawling over to Lina like if anyone even noticed her she'd be executed.
"...Okay but seriously what do you think the people from this world will be like any guesses expecting any fantasy races?" Carbry asked after a long awkward silence that a knife would break on.
"I'm definitely expecting fantasy races I mean dragon for one but I'm also expecting something to somehow explain whatever was up with the dragon you remember when we all saw it just bones and the bus bent like paper mache. I mean I know we all agreed that was like a mass hallucination from the stress but still it was back to normal the next day." Vittoria said still very concerned and curious about what that was about.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot about that... God now I can't think about anything else and now I'm a little freaked." Carbry said.
"We got everything." Lina said.
"You have a fantastic sense of timing okay group time." Vittoria said immediately getting back into teacher mode like the stress was just from an exam she was worried about.
"Actually before that any idea how long the gathering group will take before they get back might be a good idea to wait." Lina said.
"Few hours regardless I'm surprised that over the time period so far nothing has gone to horribly wrong with people getting impatient." Carbry said.
"Probably most people that would cause trouble are still busy emotionally digesting everything." Lina said with a shrug she also seemed a little curious now.
I had to admit to myself it was strange I mean me and Carbry is one thing we are trained for stressful situations. Well I suppose with his past Pace could also be considered a reasonable exception and Max too but outside of them. Why had nothing gone more wrong yet? It gave me a strange feeling and for some reason the harder I tried to think or worry about it the more I felt like it is what it is. So I just wrote down the fact before the feeling grew to strong and went to the group session.
Perspective Maximillian Titanius
"Okay so what exactly are we doing?" Maximillian asked
"I don't know I just got really angry about all the crap I was being given about waiting this and waiting that." Pace said.
"That's it you got really mad this isn't exactly a transformation you just gained a blue aura." Maximillian said.
"Fair maybe it's a combination of factors like pressure and need to do so to live combined with high and unstable emotions." Pace proposed.
"An awfully detailed assumption." Maximillian said.
"Oh please you know how much weird stuff I watch. Anyway nothing to it but to do it." Pace said.
"Pastry?" Maximillian asked in a serious tone shift.
"Yeah I know what your going to say... I'm okay it's just a relapse I ran out of my meds and I'm under stress so." Pace said.
"You haven't said nothing to it but to do it in years... saying it again now are you sure your really okay?" Maximillian asked in a serious legitimately concerned tone.
"Yeah... Yeah I think so the relapse with Jay just made me jump. Yeah yeah that's it that's all." Pace said half convincing me and half himself I hated feeling so useless to him so much like a parasite just like that bastard.
"... Anyway let's just try and figure this out first of by trying to get me to do that again." Pace said taking a deep breath as a small weak blue aura covered him.
"Oh okay wow that was fast not gonna lie half expected this to take awhile or several attempts." Maximillian said.
"Okay now let's see what this can really do water shock." Pace said and as soon as he mentioned water shock a ball of water with a clear electric charge appeared.
"God that is so cool." Maximillian said completely distracted by the whole thing.
"Okay deadly dinner plate." Pace said a small quickly spinning disk of water about the diameter of his hand appeared it was clearly shaped and looked a lot like a spinning plate.
"Deadly dinner plate really what are you going to do feed their enemies to death." Maximillian said sarcastically.
"Okay deadly family dinner." Pace said with a much larger but slower spinning thin plate of water appearing above him if you measured it the diameter was probably about the same as Pace's height.
"Okay better but seriously try naming it something cool." Maximillian said.
"It's not about sounding cool it's gotta be quick to say or silent usage is just better even if way weaker." Pace said.
"Why not just table then?" Maximillian asked.
"Can you think of anything other than a table when you say table?" Pace asked already knowing the answer.
"Fair enough." Maximillian said yawning.
"Why do I feel so tired right now." Maximillian said immediately falling to the ground.
"What the Max whose their come out." Pace said falling to the ground not long after only able to look Maximillian in the eye with a silent sorrow of goodbye before they both fell unconscious.
Perspective Carbry Ulick
"Huh that's weird." Carbry said.
"What is?" Vittoria asked.
"Well it's just usually the gathering group is back by now or at least in view but I don't see anyone." Carbry said.
"Huh your right that is weird." Vittoria said then clearly noticing something in the distance.
"Oh hey its them wow I'm glad not gonna lie half expected something to have gone wrong." Vittoria said then squinting her eyes and suddenly falling to the ground.
"What the?! Everyone run something.!" Carbry yelled before he too fell to sleep before whatever was happening.
Perspective Lina Catherine
I don't know why but after what happened I was the first to wake up. As soon as I woke up I tried to calm myself and pretended to be asleep to learn something about what had happened. As soon as I did close my eyes again I heard what was clearly footsteps but not human they were to heavy like well not hooves but like the steps of a lizard but way to loud. So I slightly opened one eye just enough to see it was a lizard man and it seemed to be wearing a sigil. The sigil looked like a way to signify rank or importance to his tribe or something like that. The sigil looked like some kind of dragon and a human bleeding and blending together to form a lizard man. I'm not exactly sure how to tell his rank but since their was a clear two below it I assume that meant second rank in whatever kind of lizard man tribe he was apart of. I couldn't tell anything else beyond that other than that when he left I looked around and only Pace was missing from all the people they had put in this weird storage place.
The first question that came to my mind was why Pace I mean sure he's pretty clearly the leader the gathering team if you look carefully but these guys are clearly primitive. I had no idea how they could tell Pace was different from everyone else or where he was if he was even alive. But as soon as I heard more footsteps I closed my eyes again with one open enough to see what the person coming in looked like. If their was one thing I knew at that moment I was lucky I was at a part of the weird pile where unless I clearly moved they probably wouldn't notice so I used this to my advantage. As soon as I saw I knew this lizard man was different from the last one he had a clear three under his sigil and he just came in and picked up Max moving him somewhere else.
As much as I wanted to move in that moment as much as I wanted to be a hero I knew I had no chance. These lizard men clearly had those with magic amount their rank and powerful magic too able to make others fall asleep in seconds. I knew all trying to help would do was get me killed and as much as I wanted to run and get out. I knew I couldn't get away so I just I stayed their I didn't move an inch and continued to pretend to be asleep hoping someone would come save us. I just prayed that at least if Pace and Max were dead they had died without pain and that in someway it had saved us. But really in that moment I was a coward I was afraid.
After some more time several of what sounded like lizard men came in and one by one they picked a different person and left with them I don't even know who. By the time I stopped hearing moving sounds and I was confident opening my eyes wouldn't get me killed I saw how much emptier the room was. I saw that their was me, Miss Agatino, Carbry, Tillie, Jacklyn Mamie I think her name was it hard to tell if it was her from this angle not that we spoke much and two boys I had never spoken too and had no clue as to their names. After that I couldn't stop thinking about what might have happened to everyone else so I just kept lying their till I heard what sounded like fighting. At first I was like we are saved instinctually but knew rather quickly it was probably just a delay to death.
Perspective Pace Tory
I don't know why but when I woke up it was clear whatever was on with these lizard men it was strange they seemed to think of me as a special human or something. Naturally I tried to use my blue soul colour powers but found that I couldn't for some reason being in the presence of this larger white one seemed to make it impossible. It was like facing a mountain the white lizard man had a five under his sigil clearly highest in rank he even seemed to have some kind of orange aura around him. It was clear he could use his soul colour and whatever orange could do my blue didn't stand a chance. After all when I looked closer I could see red and yellow separately flowing in his aura like he also had such soul colours at his command and I knew this big lizard man was in a whole other dimension of power to me in this power system. I wasn't sure if much but I knew that their was something about having more than one soul colour that clearly had a physical affect as was clearly show through the much larger white lizard man.
