Chapter 2
Perspective Pace Tory
When everyone woke up on that first day their were hours of chaos arguing and bickering more than I had expected. It was chaos for hours till me Max and Miss Agatino made everyone realise our best path forward is to rely on each other.
"Okay so every calm now." Maximillian said. Most people just nodded along spirits weak and broken drained.
"That's close enough now we need to decide who goes out for food and water and who stays here." Miss Vittoria Agatino said. This immediately gets a lot of screams and cries of rejection.
"Silence! Now it's only fair me Miss Agatino and the bus driver sorry what was your name again?" Pace Tory said.
"Carbry Ulick my name is Carbry Ulick." Said the bus driver Carbry Ulick.
"It's only fair me Miss Agatino and Carbry stay if it weren't for what we did yesterday we would have spent ours in danger in that bus just look outside and you'll understand." Pace Tory pointed out. Everyone then stared on in shock and horror as they saw the now just bones of the dragon which was still covered in scales and flesh the other day and the horribly twisted and turned bus remains.
"Max I know you played an important role in that as well but your the strongest amongst us so I can't say it's fair you stay and your the only person I trust to lead the team." Pace Tory said.
"I have no issue with that." Maximillian Titanius said.
"Well maybe you should go Pace as fair as it is to say we owe you our lives you are the only person smart enough to hunt and know what water sources would be best to bring water back from." A student pointed out I'm not sure which.
"I see fair enough so be it I shall go on this one and every other one satisfied." Pace Tory said. Everyone nodded along calmer more of reason again.
"Pace I am not exactly willing to just let you go out their as much as I hate to admit it but even if I went I couldn't help but your not much better I hate feeling like I'm sending kids of to die but it's the only option." Miss Vittoria Agatino said her fists clenched with all her might since she hated every part of this.
"I'm sorry but it's for the best their are two people I can trust you and Carbry Ulick were very brave yesterday taking the riskiest possible places in our run for the cave I trust you so trust me and trust us it's our only option." Pace Tory said.
"Fine but know I hate every part of this now get your team together and go before I change my mind." Miss Agatino said.
When we left I was so scared about whatever thing did that to the dragon. But I knew logically it had to be nocturnal but still I was so scared I am so scared I don't know hat to do anymore than just keep going forward with what makes sense and hope everything works out. I hate this every second is hell but I keep going I want to just break down and cry but I can't I won't I need to be the strong face if this operation or everything falls apart. I honestly think if I didn't have Max here I might have actually... doesn't matter I would have cried and worse yeah just cried a lot just breath keep going nothing to it but to do it... right?
Perspective Maximillian Titanius
Naturally I was the leader of the hunting and gathering group like Pastry said I'm the best physically gifted person here so it makes sense. We gathered our team the most well built and impressive men we could find not that meant much since most in our class weren't anything special only I could be called physically gifted in the lot. Leaving the cave was horrible seeing what happened to the dragon body and the bus over night meant we had a clear time limit and we had to be back in the cave by then or whatever did that would be back for seconds.
"So Pastry any theories on what did that to the dragon?" Maximillian asked.
"It's likely to have been many more mid sized creatures but still eating a whole dragon to the bone over night and doing that to the bus honestly scary." Pastry said.
"Fair what kind of monsters could do that to a dragon even if dead it's insane just thinking about it I'm honestly afraid what should we do if it goes in the cave or goes in the cave while we sleep or something?" Maximillian asked shaking terrified to his bones.
"I don't know but it's definitely nocturnal why not eat the dragon earlier in that case the dragon probably died that day just before we crashed into it." Pastry answered.
"Your right thanks Pastry that helps even if only a little bit." Maximillian said.
"A waterfall that's great we can get water straight from that and it will be drinkable." Pastry said.
"Yeah I here it too their might be a lake or something let's go guys!" Maximillian shouted. We ran through the forest and found a huge lake with an impressive waterfall their even seemed to be deer and some other animals by the edge.
"Wow it's beautiful hey Pastry why aren't the animals running?" Maximillian asked.
"This is a watering hole I assume so anyone and anything can come without fear of being eaten or hunted we should obey that and hunt animals out of the range so we can still know where to find them." Pastry answered.
"I see but would that logically mean their are things that look like us for them to be used to in the first place." Maximillian said.
"That's... a really good point yes logically their would." Pastry said.
"That's amazing we are saved!" The other students with use screamed in joy and relief clearly a weight of their shoulders.
"I hate to be a downer but not really they could be harmful or something else they just need to be highly human like not humans and we should all know how bad people can be but overall this is very helpful and important information so big win worthy of celebrating." Pastry said correcting himself half way through to keep the new spirits nice and high.
"Yeah I guess he's right." One student said they all seemed to sigh but they still seemed much more relaxed.
"Great so let's fill the water bottles take some berries from the bushes and trees Pastry says are good and we go back early to tell everyone about this." Maximillian said.
"Right!" The other students yelled in agreement. They then followed Pastries instructions and we went back with lots of food and water fresh and safe not to mention promising information.

Meanwhile as they travelled for the resources it didn't take long for the students with me and Carbry Ulick to get restless and impatient. It may not have actually been that long but it felt like hours I honestly wanted to cry out into tears because I could have just gotten some students on my watch killed.
"I can't do this Carbry I'm just not built like Pace or Maximillian I'm just an underpaid teacher not some super leader with crazy talent like those two." Miss Vittoria Agatino complained to Carbry Ulick when they had just gotten the students back under control.
"Hey I know this is tough but if we just stick this through together we can make it as my nana always used to say the only way is forward." Carbry Ulick said.
"I don't believe in that I could have just sent those kids to die did you see the remains of that dragon and now just bones over night." Miss Vittoria Agatino said trying to keep quiet so not to cause a stir again.
"Hey I get it okay I've been through a lot myself but this takes the cake." Carbry Ulick said.
"With all due respect how is that exactly impressive." Miss Vittoria Agatino said trying not to scream at him.
"Oh yeah I was a member in the army once got my leg blown of and had to retire and I became a bus driver so I didn't lose my mind." Carbry Ulick said. I was honestly shocked by that but it explained why he had a prosthetic left leg and seemed so calm in the run to the cave and took those orders like a real pro.
"Wait seriously... that actually explains a lot wait why didn't you go with the kids then?" I asked.
"Well as much as I hate to admit it that Pace and Maximillian those kids are better than me at thus I'm too rusty but I am a good motivator and great under pressure like most army men probably why that Pace kid told me to stay he probably noticed my military tattoos. I must say real clever he is proper Sherlock really impressive reminds me of my former lieutenant from the army clever and talented to the point he broke the company record for youngest lieutenant." Carbry Ulick explained.
"That actually makes sense and really sounds like him and looking closer yeah I do see your tattoos that Pace kinda glad we have him for this." Miss Vittoria Agatino said.
"I we are agreed on that point he is quite impressive for such a young lad but as I learned from my old lieutenant talent beats age every time." Carbry Ulick said.
"So just have faith and wait." Carbry Ulick added after awhile.
Perspective Carbry Ulick
So I decided to add my own thoughts to the book since we'll why not and because Pace said it would help me feel closer to reality I kinda get it now I'm writing in it. I didn't ask to write yesterday because I honestly couldn't remember a think it's a trick I learned in the army helped me through some real messed up stuff including losing my left leg. That doesn't really matter now though does it point is when the boys got back it had been five hours people had gotten hungry and impatient but I calmed them down with Miss Agatino's help that was about three hours into the five hour wait.
"We are back with food berries mostly and nice clean drinkable water." Maximillian said as the whole team got back alive and well almost exactly five hours after they left.
"We also have good news when we found the watering hole the animals didn't react their are probably people in this world as well we aren't sure if they are trust worthy but it's a step in the right direction." Pace said. It was times like these I lived for in the army when your worry is proved wrong you get your mates back and with nothing but good news really helps with morale.
"Oh good your all back safe I'm so glad." Miss Vittoria Agatino said and the general air also seemed to lighten a lot from what was said.
The first day was rough for everyone but now everyone seems happier and things seem to be calming down finding a flow they'll have to worry about getting meat tomorrow and about whatever did that to the dragons body. I don't scare easy even for a vet but I gotta say whatever did that to dragon no a beast of that size regardless of how it scares me more than anything. I don't know what tomorrow might hold but I feel in my gut with guys like Maximillian and Pace not to mention me and Miss Agatino we might just be fine. Yes we might just be fine after all I don't think Miss Agatino will write today though don't think she feels she needs to she looks really up in spirits super happy can't say I blame her though.
Perspective Pace Tory
Everything was calm everything was well but then that thing came I couldn't sleep so I kept watch with Maximillian and that thing actually came the thing that ate the dragon corpse. It was so bizarre a beast of myth and then it disappeared into thin air and a man in armour appeared took of his helmet and looked at me. He seemed to be trying to talk to me but I couldn't understand his language and I didn't recognise it. He then stretched out his hand and I grabbed it and I felt this jolt of energy.
"Ouch what was that?" Pace asked.
"Can you understand me now?" The man asked.
"Yes by the way what exactly was that just now." Pace answered.
"oh that's the power system that decides your place in life in this world I am a member of the royal guard my name is Sundara Belial I am a wielder of purple colour soul specialising in the space aspect of my soul colour." Sundara Belial answered.
"I see so what does that exactly mean and what happens now?" Pace asks.
"I don't know for sure guess we wait till everyone wakes up you may rest now you've earned it I'll bring you all to a temporary home and you can learn and understand more about this new world later just rest." Sundara Belial said. I wanted to resist sleep and ask my questions with all my might but I was too tired and fell asleep immediately.
