After some walking , Silas finally made it back to the guild. It was now night.
"Hello..." Said Silas as he walked in in a tired voice "Im here to claim my quest's reward"
"Ah , welcome back , done so quickly , huh? Hand me the quest and i'll hand you your payment" Says the girl from the counter
Silas hands her the completed quest as instructed and leans on the counter , tired.
"Alright... Here's your payment as instructed , 10 silver coins. Would you like me to use 2 of the silver to register you officially?"
"Hm?" Said Silas , suprised "10 Silver? Thats a lot... Well , yeah , register me while youre at it"
"Great , normally people start of at F- rank but seeing how you managed to complete a combat quest this quickly you will be placed at D- Rank , one more combat quest'll put you in D rank"
"Perfect" Says said Silas as he took his card from the lady "By the way , i was planning to ask you , whats your name? Its akward calling you 'Hey' or 'You'"
"My name? Its Mio!"
"Mio , huh? Well then , Mio , is there any place i can rest up for tonight?"
"Indeed , our guild also serves as a Inn!" Says Mio "The payment starts at a price of 1 Silver/night"
"Only 1? I'd like to rent a basic room then , for tonight"
"Gotcha!" Mio said as she took the silver coin. She handed Silas a key "your room's room 51 , its upstairs. Have a good night Mr Silas!'
"Good night to you too Mio..." Says Silas as he walks off towards the stairs leading to the upper floor.
"Ugh... In one day i've managed to reincranate , become a tutor , kill some monsters and even become a fairly high ranking adventurer... What a day , truly... Well , goodnight world , for today at the very least"
Snooooreeee... The next morning
Silas wakes up , yawning and stretching
"Ah... That was nice , they have really soft beds here" He said as he placed his hand on the bed , leaning into it.
"Hm... Since i got my Registration , i dont have much to worry about... Should i explore the town a little , perhaps?" He said as he grabbed his silver , walked out the room and locked it. "This map i have should come in handy..."
Silas made his way downstairs , handed the key to Mio and walked out the guild.
"Lets see" Silas said as he checked the map "The town is fairly large... Alright then , lets see. The first stop will be the magic academy." Silas said as he began walking down the big street towards the magic academy.
40 minutes later , he arrived.
"So this is the magic academy , huh? Smaller than i imagined" It was fairly big , like a castle , but compared to those Silas saw in isekai stories , it was much smaller. At the gate stood an old lady with a box full of cards.
Silas walked up to the lady. "Excuse me , miss?"
"Hm...? Ah , yes , young man?"
"What are these cards for..?" Asked Silas
"Theyre temporary identity cards for people who want to check the academy out from the inside. Would you like one?"
"Oh , i'd love one!"
"hahaha , how excited you sound. Here it is , its free of charge so dont worry about it"
"Oh , thank you!" Said Silas as he waved to the lady and walked inside the academy
(Authors note , this is basically a half chapter , i specially didnt make it too interesting , the next one will have the academy exploration and some other cool things , so yeah)
