The next day...
Boruto woke up early in the morning. Today he was with the group Azazel mentioned yesterday.
"I don't want to waste time meeting new people, I have more important things to do."
The shinobi did his morning training before eating breakfast, then decided to go for a walk.
"Oh, bye."
Hearing a familiar voice, the blond turned around and saw the familiar girls he'd met yesterday.
"So, what are you doing here?"
"We happen to live not far from each other. Actually, I don't think we even got a chance to introduce ourselves yesterday. My name is Akeno Himejima and this is Xenovia."
"Boruto, Boruto Uzumaki."
"What are you doing exactly?"
Boruto was about to respond, but was forced to jump back to avoid the attack.
"I finally found you, traitor."
The blond teenager was surprised to recognize the person who had attacked him.
"Mitsuki, so they've changed you too."
"At least I'm not as much of a waste as you, traitor."
Mitsuki appeared in front of Boruto in the blink of an eye. Before he could react, he was punched in the stomach, sending the teenager flying a considerable distance.
"His power and strength significantly surpass what he had when he used Sage Mode," Boruto commented.
"Boruto-kun/Boruto," the girls tried to approach him.
"Don't get any closer, it could be dangerous."
Boruto was forced to jump upwards to avoid Mitsuki's next attack.
"Shiden!" the blond fired a purple bolt of lightning from his hand.
Mitsuki dodged the attack by jumping to the side, but suddenly, Boruto's clone appeared above him with a Rasengan in hand.
"Rasengan!"
Mitsuki dodged the Rasengan and then pierced Boruto's clone.
"I have the power of an Otsutsuki now, such pathetic attacks won't hurt me."
"Looks like power isn't the only thing you've grown, your ego too," Boruto commented.
Unexpectedly, another of Boruto's clones came up behind Mitsuki and grabbed him, then blew himself up, creating explosions.
Mitsuki flew out of the smoke. Boruto anticipated this and, using his Hiraishin, teleported behind his former friend. He then grabbed Mitsuki's head and slammed him to the ground, creating a large crater.
"He's strong," commented Xenovia, who was watching the fight with Akeno.
"Rias was certainly right about him."
After a few moments, Mitsuki began to stand up, wiping the blood from his mouth.
"I see you're capable of something, but it's still not enough to defeat me."
Mitsuki stuck out his hand at Boruto and fired a series of energy bolts. The blond ran, dodging each one. When he stepped on a spot, he sensed something.
"Damn, it's a trap," he said before a huge explosion occurred.
