Boruto approached Mitsuki's body, which lay in a large crater.
"Hehehe, it looks like I caused you some trouble."
"You're back to normal?"
"I think so."
Suddenly, Boruto noticed something sticking out of Mitsuki's wound. "What is it?"
"It's a special core they insert into us during the Otsufication process to keep us under their influence. It's located near the heart so it can't be removed without killing the possessor," Mitsuki explained, coughing up blood. "My time is running out, the only one who can save Konoha is you, Boruto," he added before his eyelids closed.
Boruto closed his eyes for a moment, and a moment later, he dug a burial for his friend. When he turned around, he noticed Akeno and Xenovia staring at him.
"How much did you see?"
"Practically everything. Can you explain what happened here?" – replied the purple-haired teenager.
Boruto just sighed, having no choice, and told them the truth. Meanwhile, Kawaki sat on his throne.
"So Mitsuki failed, well, I guess it's time to let her go." Kawaki went to a special cocoon. "Her otsufication process should be complete; she'll surely succeed in killing Boruto."
As soon as Kawaki arrived, he was surprised to see the cocoon empty.
"What's wrong? Judging by the condition of this cocoon, it's been cut for several days. Even before the process was complete. She must have followed Mitsuki, damn it. If she finds Boruto and they join forces, they could pose a serious threat. In that case, I have to go to the dimension that traitor fled to myself." Kawaki reopened the portal he'd jumped into. Somewhere in an unknown place, a young girl was walking, barely able to stand.
"I have to find Boruto," she said in a breathless voice.

"I know, but before that, I have to find him and talk to him, at least one last time."

Meanwhile, after explaining the situation to the girls, they led them to the school. There, he met two girls, both wearing glasses, one shorter with short hair, the other taller with longer black hair.
"Boruto?"
The blond was surprised to see the taller black-haired girl recognize him.
"I'm sorry, we haven't met before, so how do you know my name?" the shinobi asked.

"From someone I know, I can't say her name," she blurted out, causing Boruto to look at her suspiciously.
"My name is Sona Sitri, and I'm the student council president. This is my friend and deputy, Tsubaki Shinra," the other girl interjected.
"Azazel told me to come here."
"We're going to a meeting with him at our club," Akeno added.
"I heard about it. In that case, Uzumaki-kun, come over later and I'll show you your new class."
"Don't tell me I have to go to school here?"
"Of course, you're not of age yet, so you have to go to school, that's the law here," Sona said, causing Boruto to sigh.
