In The Eyes Of Gods: Volume One

In The Eyes of Gods is a story born of my beliefs and experiences. To create a whole world inside the mind has never been a dream of mine, but more so a function, like breathing or eating. It simply must be done in order for me to thrive and be at peace. My dream however, is to be able to share and show that world, or worlds, to as many as I can. In the hope that they can find the kind of surrealism that comes from experiencing an intangible place far from the one we live in. Since a child I've been full of white lies and embellishments, not maliciously or in order to deceive, but as a way to always be telling a story. The idea of using words alone to create a landscape that lives behind the eyes of another is a powerful one and something I have poured myself into through this tale. I have both things to share and things to discover as I attempt to bring my imaginary world into view for anyone who wishes to step inside. If you do choose to walk into my world, I can't promise that every question will be answered or even that every story will end well, but I can promise that I will put the entirety of my being into the words you read. Through the words on the following pages I hope to share with you the core of my experiences, values, beliefs and most of all my imagination. Not only as a way to share my inner world but also as a way to say thank you to all of those before me who created worlds that I got lost in along the way, time and time again. - Bruce Burnett
