Teyvat, Liyue Harbor
"Wow!"
"When did Liyue Harbor get such a big store!?"
"Duel Monster Shop?!"
"What kind of business is this… Could it steal the Hall Master's market!?"
The girl jumped up in shock.
The Qiankun Tai hexagram hat on her head wobbled in the air and almost fell to the ground.
The source of the exclamation-
It was none other than the very infamous Hu Tao of Liyue!
At first glance, she seemed like a cheerful, quirky girl.
But who would have thought that she was actually a legendary figure the master of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and a renowned poet of Liyue?
Every identity Hu Tao holds is extraordinary.
She appears and disappears like lightning a spark that ignites everything the moment she arrives.
She writes poems at midnight, runs around during the day, roams mountains and seas, and remains ever content.
And that's not all.
She could show up anywhere in streets and alleys, among barren mountains, under bright sunlight, or in the darkest nights.
Everything is possible when it comes to Hu Tao's whims.
At this very moment, Hu Tao and the guest consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Zhongli, stood in front of a newly opened 400-square-meter shop in Liyue Harbor.
The sign read: "Duel Monster Shop."
Hu Tao pointed at it and said to Zhongli,
"This store is huge! Don't tell me they're trying to steal my business", Mr. Zhongli! Hurry and investigate this with your hall master!"
Zhongli sighed.
Before he could even open his mouth to reply, Hu Tao suddenly dashed inside the shop.
Before Hu Tao arrived, many citizens of Liyue Harbor had already gathered outside. None dared to enter.
They simply watched, curious about the massive store that had appeared out of nowhere.
But… afraid of the unknown.
They hesitated wondering if they should go in.
After all, the word "monster" in "Duel Monster" didn't sound very safe.
But when Hu Tao boldly rushed in, those who had been hesitating followed right after her.
After all… who doesn't love a bit of excitement?
Hu Tao led the crowd inside the Duel Monster Shop.
The interior was vast. Aside from the main sales area, there were three large dueling arenas, each divided into smaller sections.
At both ends of each arena stood small platforms equipped with strange devices as if they were meant to hold cards.
They looked like dueling stations where players could stand and face each other.
Seeing the advanced setup, both Hu Tao and Zhongli were shocked and stunned.
They didn't understand what they were looking at but they could both tell one thing:
These were no ordinary tools.
Hu Tao's plum blossom eyes sparkled with curiosity. She was eager to uncover what kind of business this was.
"Duel monsters? Where are the monsters? What is this all about…?"
The murmurs of the crowd filled the shop, which had been quiet just moments before.
Then from the back room a young man appeared, holding a box.
"Welcome," he said with a calm smile. "Our shop just opened today everything is 10% off."
His voice was clear and pleasant, like a gentle spring breeze.
Even Zhongli, who had met countless people in his life, couldn't see through this young man.
His instincts told him this person was definitely not ordinary.
After all, who could open such a grand store in Liyue Harbor overnight?
Hu Tao's eyes lit up. She leaned forward until her face was close to his.
"Are you the owner of this shop!?"
The young man nodded.
His name was Lu You.
Just last night, he had crossed over into this world.
Before arriving in Teyvat, Lu You had run a Yu-Gi-Oh! card shop with his grandfather.
Business was good customers came to duel, open booster packs, and hang out.
They earned over 20,000 yuan a month life was comfortable.
As his grandfather grew older and retired, he passed the shop and five Dark Magician cards down to Lu You.
But yesterday, when Lu You opened the shop for another day of work, a blinding flash of light engulfed him.
He woke up to find himself in Teyvat.
And that wasn't all he was now bound to a mysterious system called the 'Universal Yu-Gi-Oh System.'
The system had recreated his entire Yu-Gi-Oh shop in Liyue Harbor and tasked him with spreading the game across Teyvat.
Once he successfully popularized Yu-Gi-Oh, he'd be able to freely travel between Teyvat and Blue Star.
Even more amazing inside the shop, Lu You was invincible.
No one could harm him or cause trouble within its walls.
The system-built shop was full of high-tech equipment and open arenas where real monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh could actually be summoned!
The store's area was more than ten times larger than the one his grandfather had left him.
Now, with Hu Tao and Zhongli visiting on his very first day and bringing a crowd of curious customers Lu You couldn't help but smile.
"Thank you for nature's blessings," he said softly.
"Looks like today's sales are secured."
