A flaw like a limitation of some sorts well this isn't to bad i always liked doing thing by myself
Thinking this, I exit the bathroom and put on the police-issued tracksuit and head to the cafeteria. After getting to the cafeteria I sat in front of awakened Austin.
"You sure took your time, we don't have that much time left till the winter solstice.. you know what that is right?"
"Nope"
"Well it's basically where ever sleeper is pulled into the dream realm come every winter solstice"
Dream realm where is that is it like some kingdom or some weirdly name contest
"Well moving on do you want to take the free mental counseling"
"I don't"
He nodded and wrote this down and quickly moved forward and said
"I have read your file and since you don't have any family so we don't have to inform them"
As he kept talking i thought i have no family well this does make it easier to take this guys life
"And now the last thing do you want to attend the academy or want to prepare by yourself—take this as advice from your senior you should go to the academy it will help you greatly"
After listening to his though pitch if i could call it that i wanted to say yes but before i could i felt a searing pain course through my muscle to make the pain stop i told him through gritted teeth "I think I will be able to prepare on my own"
Austin looking at me a strange expression said "are you sure? this is not something you should take light lightly"
"Yes…yes i am"

After walking out of the police station and into an alley
"Well lets see what this god-steps made of " saying this i activate god-step golden runes glimmer underneath my clothes as i feel the routes like a spider web stretching across the world and far beyond i tried to feel one of the farther routes but was unable to use it
"Must be due to the limited aether in my core"
I tried to feel the range of this god step when i tried i intrinsically knew it was as if the aether it self was telling me my limits—1500m, yes that was my range seeing this i use god-step went to the outskirts of one of the neighborhood and looked around to find a library
And entered a public library without much fuss
Learning a bit about this world i figured out that after the emerging of the nightmare spell–the rune/status thingy caused and apocalypse and ...….[i am just gonna skip cus we all know what happens]
A WEEK LATER :
Well its time to go the dream realm
So i go to the police and tell them that i have to go the dream realm yad yad I get transferred to a hospital and get put in a capsule that supposed to keep my body alive
As i go to sleep i hear the spell say
[welcome to the dream realm Arthur]
Arthur waking up in a land filled with nothing but mound of sand and with mountains that pierce the sky like spear as the backdrop Arthur set off one his adventure
"well lets get a move on " saying this he activated god-step and disappeared into the vast endless desert that glimmered in the sun like gold

Sunny pov
After barely surviving the becoming fish food sunny rested on the stone platform above the opaque dark sea and decided that he needed some sleep
After waking sunny look down to see the dark sea receding
Slowly at first, and then faster , the water level was dropping. The stone formation he had been taking shelter on used to barely protrude out of the waves, but now there were meters and meters of wet rock between him and the surface of the sea.
As the sun climbed up, the monstrous tide continued. Soon, Sunny found himself standing on the edge of a tall cliff, with a hundred-meter drop separating him from the waters. Beneath him, the rock formation broadened and changed shape. However, from his vantage point, it was hard to determine what that shape was, exactly.
At that time, the dark surface of the water began to be punctured here and there by sharp crimson blades. As it dropped even further, it was as though a crimson forest was slowly rising from the black depths. The "trees" were made of something resembling coral, growing chaotically into each other and stretching toward the sky.
They were colossal in size, with irregular protrusions entwining and merging together, looking monumental and eerie in the black and red reality of the sunlit void. The labyrinth formed by this strange reef stretched as far as Sunny could see, broken here and there by protruding cliffs, sudden chasms, and distant natural features.
Half an hour later, utterly shocked, Sunny stared down and realized that the sea was completely gone. If not for the black seaweed left hanging on wet rocks and scarlet pillars of coral, he would even doubt if it was ever there.
His small circular island had turned into the peak of a strange, towering, irregularly shaped cliff. Looking down, he felt his head spinning.
By then, the night had already fully retreated, letting morning finally take its place.
'I'm not seeing things, am I?' Sunny thought, pinching himself.

Arthur pov
After deciding to walk to conserve my aether i had found absolutely nothing and i mean nothing but sand not a soul ,this was especially annoying as the sun had started to set
I had thought i could walk for the entire night without having to fight anything but i had been proven very as skeleton began to rise straight out of the sand seeing this i started to run
but before i could i had been surrounded by skeleton who were atleast of the awakened rank and maybe monster or even demon which i decided i could not win against in a fight and might have to do a tactical retreat 'i may be sword master but i even i don't think i win against creatures that were a rank and a couple class higher than me.
As i activate god-step i pick the path that puts me the farthest away form the group of skeleton as my vision blur i find myself over 1.5km away from the skeleton and start running in the other direction form the skeleton
only to find myself in a oasis with a lake filled with water my eyes light up like a pirate who found treasure i start to hungerly drinking the water
"look who we have here "
i slowly turn my head only to see a talking skeleton stuck to a tree
