Katsuki Bakugo and Shouto Todoroki, the only students in Class 1-A who didn't yet have their provisional licenses, have just received their provisional hero licenses at the hero office located in the center of Musutafu. They were accompanied by the hero, now retired after his fight with All for One, All Might.

"Congratulations, young Bakugo and young Todoroki! Before we head back to class with the rest of the students, let's celebrate by eating sushi. It's my treat," All Might said enthusiastically, giving the thumbs up.

"Sounds good," Todoroki said, his expression unemotionally.

"Tsk," Bakugo muttered, hands in his pockets. "But hurry, I can't waste time with you guys! I'm sure that stupid Deku is training right now. I can't let him get the better of me!" he shouted.

The three were walking down the street toward the nearest sushi restaurant when they suddenly heard a loud explosion about 2 kilometers away. They stopped suddenly and saw a large cloud of smoke from the fire from the explosion.

"Finally some fun!" Bakugo exclaimed, flicking his fingers. "Let's go see what happened, you Half-and-Half bastard!" Todoroki simply nodded, and they ran at full speed toward the scene of the explosion.

"Wait a minute, young Bakugo and young Todoroki!" All Might yelled. "You only received your license less than half an hour ago, you can't just go there!" He then began coughing blood from his weakened body.

—What does it matter if it was 30 minutes ago! A hero is a hero! I've never heard of restricting heroes by how long they've been heroes! —Bakugo said, turning his face away. — You worry about that nasty cough and let that bastard Half-Half and I handle this.—

All Might couldn't reply, as the two young heroes were already a considerable distance away. Less than two minutes later, Bakugo and Todoroki discerned what had caused the explosion. A lizard-like being, a hairless, bare-chested man, a rather attractive redhead, and a man dressed entirely in black were robbing a bank.

"Where are the heroes?" an old woman cried in alarm.

"Shut up, old lady!" the humanoid lizard threatened. "One more word and I'll devour you!" he continued, approaching the woman. A bitter cold chill in his mouth made him stop.

A large block of ice erupted from Todoroki's foot, reaching the lizard's mouth. Meanwhile, Bakugo flew, thanks to his power, and rescued the old woman, taking her away from the scene.

"Who the hell are you brats?" the bald man asked, annoyed.

"We're not brats. We're 16," Todoroki replied.

—And most importantly... WE ARE HEROES! —Bakugo shouted, standing next to Todoroli.

"Children playing at being heroes, this world is going to shit..." the bald villain muttered.

The lizard-man, using his superhuman strength, broke free of the ice from his jaw and went straight for Todoroki.

—Grrrrr. —He raised a claw and tried to stab Todoroki, but a wall of ice stopped his attempt.

"The real cops and heroes will be here any minute! I'm leaving!" the redhead shouted, leaving the room accompanied by the man dressed in black.

"Half-and-half bastard! Take care of the bald guy and the lizard! I'll stop the red-haired bitch and the man in black!" he shouted, chasing after the pair of villains.

"Bakugo, I don't think it's a good idea to split up!" Todoroki complained as he dodged a punch from the bald villain.

"Letting that bitch and that other bastard escape is a worse idea!" Bakugo retorted, ignoring Todoroki and going after them.

The chase lasted about five minutes until the villains reached a dead end.

—Shit... —said the red-haired villain.

"YOU FINALLY STOPPED RUNNING LIKE COWARDS!" Bakugo shouted angrily, creating sparks with his hands. "I hope you're ready to get beaten up!"

"Damn little shit..." the redhead said in a low voice.

"I'm not a brat, you red-haired bitch!" Bakugo replied.

"Do you kiss your mother with that little mouth?" asked the villain, taking a machete out of the bag where she carried the money.

—DIE! —he launched a huge explosion with his grenade bracers.

The villains managed to dodge the blast, but the shockwave sent them slamming into the wall. A large cloud of smoke billowed out of the alley. The man in black emerged from the cloud of smoke and glared at Bakugo.

"That wasn't very heroic of you, mini-hero," said the man in black, creating a pair of black spheres, one in each hand.

"Fuck you, man in black! Wait a minute... Where's your partner? Where's that red-haired bitch?" Bakugo asked, looking all around.

The villain, taking advantage of the smoke and stealthily, positioned herself behind Bakugo. But the hero reacted in time and put his hand in her face, about to explode it. However, what he saw shocked him, leaving his mouth open. The villain was now a girl of about 8 years old, wielding a machete almost bigger than her.

—What the hell...? —Bakugo said, lowering his arm, not knowing what to do. He was so stunned that he didn't react when she slashed his arm with that machete. That woke him up, and he instinctively kicked the girl in the face. —You bitch!—

The girl then licked Bakugo's blood off her machete and put on a wicked smile.

—Ugh! That's disgusting, you red-haired bitch! Don't think that just because you're a little girl now I'm not going to beat you up!—said Bakugo, pointing at her.

—Hahaha. In a few seconds, you'll be the only boy, rude boy. —The girl swallowed blood.

Bakugo felt an intense pain in his head that made him writhe on the floor.

"Shit!" He struggled to his feet. But the hand grenades were incredibly heavy; they were much bigger than before. "Huh?" He realized his voice was very high-pitched. "My voice! What did you do to me, you red-haired bitch?"

But when he looked at her, he no longer saw the little girl from a few moments ago; she was an adult again. But not only that, she seemed much bigger. Everything seemed bigger! The hand grenades came loose from her arms. He looked at his arms; they were no longer as muscular as before and were now much smaller. Frightened, he took a few steps back; his clothes were so baggy that he tripped over them falling to the ground. The villain rushed over and easily grabbed Bakugo by the neck with one hand. She grabbed him, holding him in the air, and the force of gravity made his excessively baggy clothes fall to the ground. Therefore, the villain was holding Bakugo, looking like a completely naked child.

"Looks like you finally understand your situation, brat. You're a helpless five-year-old now," the red-haired villain explained, smiling disdainfully.

Bakugo, trying to break free from the villain's grasp, grabbed her arm and applied his power. But all that emerged was a very weak explosion that didn't do the slightest damage to the villain. It only singed some of her clothes. The redhead threw the Bakugo-child through the air, colliding with his head against the wall, creating a considerable gap.

"Damn bitch..." Bakugo-boy muttered with difficulty, he was semi-conscious and could barely stand up.

Child-Bakugo watched helplessly as the man dressed in black slowly walked towards him with the black spheres he had previously formed.

"This is what you get for playing at being a hero," the villain said, joining the two spheres together, creating a much larger one the size of little Bakugo.

"I don't play at being a hero, I am a hero," Bakugo gasped, struggling to stay awake from the blood loss he'd suffered from the gash in his head.

"Whatever you say, hero," the villain said, his last bit mockingly. "And now..." He brought the large sphere just inches away from Bakugo's body. "...Disappear!"

The large black sphere swallowed the naked child-Bakugo, moments later the sphere vanished leaving no trace of Bakugo.

"Where's the brat, Matahiri?" the villainess asked her companion.

"I don't even know where my spheres send the people I swallow, Zelonda," Matahiri replied. "He's probably dead, but the most important thing now is that we have to get out of here. I don't want to see the police, other heroes, or that other kid who creates ice."

Zelonda and Matahiri left with the loot from the bank robbery, and luckily for them, they didn't have any further interruptions. But... where had Bakugo gone?

"Where the hell am I?" a disoriented and naked Bakugo asked into the distance.

The boy, Bakugo, was surrounded by trees and dead leaves. There was no way he was in Musutafu, since there were no forests there. He touched the back of his neck; blood was gushing from the gap.

"I can't die here..." Bakugo lamented. "...I have to get over Deku..."

He didn't want to fall asleep, because he knew that if that happened, his fate would be sealed: he would die. But the combined exhaustion, the cold, and the blood loss were too much for the boy. He fell face down, unconscious, into the dead leaves.
