The boardroom at Horizon Online was a cold, sterile place.
It had the ambiance of a hospital waiting room, but with worse lighting and more lies. The walls were lined with motivational posters that said things like "Synergy Starts With You" and "Smile Through the Metrics."
Christina Moran stood at the head of the long table, flanked by Edward Callen, who looked like he was about to deliver a TED Talk on corporate betrayal.
Across from them sat the board: a collection of executives who resembled expired yogurt in suits. And at the center, puffing his cigar like a villain in a discount noir film, was Raffy, the CEO.
"You called this meeting," Raffy said, voice thick with condescension. "Let's hear it."
Edward stood first.
"Ladies and gentlemen," he began, "we are here today not to discuss quarterly earnings, but to confront the rot beneath our performance charts."
Christina followed, her voice steady. "We've gathered evidence. Audio recordings. Internal memos. Testimonies. All pointing to a culture of harassment, exploitation, and unethical practices."
She clicked a remote. The projector lit up.

Slide 2: "Delayed Salaries and the Art of Gaslighting"
Slide 3: "The Inverted Nose Incident – A Symbol of Corporate Vanity"
The room was silent.
Then came the audio clip.
"You're loyal, Christina. I can make you Team Lead. Just… be loyal to me."
— Mr. Ramil, recorded in the pantry, unaware that Christina's phone had a voice memo app and zero patience.
The executives shifted uncomfortably. One coughed. Another pretended to take notes.
Raffy leaned forward. "This is slander."
Edward raised an eyebrow. "It's truth. And it's being downloaded by thousands of agents every night."
Christina added, "Your employees are tired. Underpaid. Overworked. And now, they're speaking up. You can either listen, or become the next TitanTel scandal."
Raffy's face turned red. "You think you can threaten me with a podcast?"
"No," Christina said. "I'm threatening you with a movement."
Silence.
Then, one board member—an older woman with a nameplate that read "VP of Employee Wellness"—cleared her throat.
"I've listened to the podcast," she said. "It's… accurate. And frankly, long overdue."
Another nodded. "We need to clean house. Starting with Ramil."
Raffy stood up. "You can't fire me. I built this company!"
Edward smiled. "And now it's collapsing under your ego."
The vote was swift.
Ramil: Terminated.
Raffy: Suspended pending investigation.
Christina: Offered a promotion.
She declined.
"I don't want a title," she said. "I want change."
The boardroom erupted in murmurs. But Christina didn't care.
She had walked into the lion's den with nothing but a podcast and a nose that defied symmetry.
And she had won.
