Chapter 12 - The Call That Changed Everything

Six months later, Christina Moran sat in her new office at MORAN & CO., sipping coffee that didn't taste like betrayal.

Her consultancy had grown fast. Agents from all over the country were signing up for training programs, ethical workplace audits, and seminars titled "How to Say No to Creeps Without Losing Your Job."

Her podcast, Call Center Confidential, had become a cult classic. It was now taught in sociology classes and quoted in HR meetings—usually with nervous laughter.

One day, her phone rang.

"Thank you for calling MORAN & CO., where your dignity is never on hold," she answered, smiling.

It was a young agent from a small BPO in Iloilo.

"Hi, Ma'am Christina," the voice said. "I just wanted to say… I used to think I had to stay quiet. But then I heard your podcast. And now, I'm leading our first employee union."

Christina blinked. "You're leading a union?"

"Yes, Ma'am. And we named it… The Inverted Nose Alliance."

She laughed. Loudly. Proudly.

Because in a world that once mocked her nose, her voice, and her courage, Christina Moran had flipped the narrative.

She didn't just survive the system.

She rewrote it.

And somewhere, in a dusty corner of the internet, her first episode still played:

"Thank you for calling Horizon Online. My name is Tina. How may I help you?"

The answer?

By helping herself.
