Chapter 14 - Blood lines and Power

The academy buzzed with whispers after the arrival of Victor Allucard and the mysterious girl accompanying him. Students dared not speak too loudly, yet curiosity burned in every eye.

The girl, tall, elegant, and commanding, was Ophis Tepes Elderblood, daughter of Dracula. But her lineage carried more than Dracula's legacy — she possessed half the blood of the Night King, a heritage that made her a figure of both fear and reverence.

Victor Allucard, by contrast, carried the full blood of the Night King, a power so immense that even Dracula himself was surpassed. Though they shared the same bloodline, Victor had honed his strength over centuries, becoming far stronger than Dracula could ever hope to be.

Even the most elite students and hidden supernatural heirs could feel the weight of their presence. Every movement, every glance carried authority, and tension filled the air.

Ophis's crimson eyes scanned the cafeteria until they landed on Aiden. Curiosity and respect flickered across her expression.

"I have always considered you my father more than Dracula," she said softly to Victor, her voice carrying both reverence and affection. "You taught me what true power means."

Victor's dark eyes swept over Aiden, sharp and calculating. "This one," he said quietly, "I sensed your aura before you even arrived. You may not understand it yet, but your existence has consequences… far beyond this academy."

A hush fell over those nearby, even the whispers of the elite could not contain the tension. And then, Victor added with subtle pride, "Even Dracula's wife is mine now."

Ophis's gaze flicked back to Aiden. "He is… unusual. Far beyond what anyone expected."

Aiden, oblivious to the magnitude of the revelation, felt a strange pull in his chest. Something in the aura of these two powerful beings resonated with him, stirring excitement he couldn't name.

Unseen by him, a silent storm was forming. The arrival of Victor and Ophis had marked the beginning of a chain of events that would draw every major supernatural faction into his orbit.

And somewhere deep inside, a quiet voice whispered, barely perceptible but undeniable: The boy… is more than any of them realize.
