Chapter 19 - Revelation

The middle of the term at Aurelian Academy had brought a rhythm to student life. Classes were intense, corridors were bustling, and the supernatural students had settled into their routines. But the arrival of Victor Allucard's children promised to shake the academy's equilibrium once more.

By mid-morning, the twins had arrived and were immediately escorted to their dormitories. The staff moved quickly, assigning rooms with care. Lilith was placed in the same room as Selene, a decision that carried subtle intention — it would allow Lilith to observe Selene and, indirectly, Aiden. Ophis, watching closely, intervened so that her own room would be adjacent to Lilith's, ensuring she could supervise interactions and subtly guide them when needed.

Meanwhile, Lucien, her twin, was assigned to the boys' dormitory — directly across from Aiden's room. His playful energy was almost palpable, bouncing through the hallways as he immediately began introducing himself to Aiden and his friends.

"Hey! So you must be Aiden!" Lucien said, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "I've heard about your little fight with Kael. Impressive. Bet you're fun to hang out with!"

Aiden blinked, caught off guard by the boy's friendliness and confidence. "Uh… thanks," he said cautiously.

Lucien laughed, plopping onto a nearby bed. "No need to be formal here. We'll get along just fine. Oh, and don't tell me you're afraid of a little competition. I love a challenge!"

It didn't take long for Lucien to hit it off with Aiden's friends, teasing them, joking, and even challenging them to small games and contests in the dorm. His energy was infectious, and soon laughter filled the room, breaking the tension that had long surrounded Aiden and his tight-knit circle.

Across the dorms, Lilith presented a stark contrast. She was calm, precise, and carefully measured. Her crimson eyes scanned every detail of her surroundings, evaluating both Selene and the environment.

"I am Lilith," she stated firmly, her voice smooth but commanding. "I will be sharing this room with Selene. I expect order and respect."

Selene inclined her head politely, sensing the intensity in Lilith's presence. "Of course," she said softly.

Lilith remained reserved, but her mind was already calculating. She noted the bond between Aiden and Selene, a connection that hummed faintly through the corridors even at this distance. There was something about the boy — a presence that resonated deeply.

Later that evening, in a private moment, Ophis met with Lilith. The air between them was calm yet charged with significance.

"I want to understand him," Lilith admitted, crimson eyes narrowing slightly. "There's something about Aiden… he gives me the same feeling I get from my parents — Victor and my mother. It's… familiar."

Ophis nodded knowingly. "That is no coincidence," she replied. "He carries the blood of the Night King. Part of his power is dormant, yes, but it is immense — more than even you or I could imagine."

Lilith's eyes widened slightly, a mixture of awe and curiosity reflecting in her gaze. "The Night King blood…? Here? At this school?"

"Yes," Ophis said, her tone calm yet serious. "And there's more. He is unique — a being who could disrupt the balance between our races if awakened. That is why I am observing him carefully. That is why you are here."

Lilith considered this silently, processing the revelation. "So… he's not just a boy. He's… something more."

"Exactly," Ophis said. "And one day, you will see how far his influence reaches. For now, watch him, understand him, and respect the power he carries. He evokes recognition in you because his presence is extraordinary — like your parents, yet different."

Outside, the academy continued its rhythm, unaware of the shifting forces gathering within. For Aiden, the arrival of Victor's children had already begun to change everything. Lucien's playful energy would bring camaraderie and challenge, while Lilith's strict demeanor promised scrutiny and subtle guidance.

And now, with Ophis's revelation, a new layer of destiny had been added — Aiden's Night King blood, dormant yet undeniable, marked him as a force that could no longer be ignored.
