Chapter 13 - Arrival of power

The hallways of Aurelian Academy felt different that morning. Whispers had spread like wildfire after yesterday's events. Every student knew something extraordinary had happened — something that no one could ignore.

Then the doors swung open.

First came Dracula's daughter, her presence commanding every gaze. The aura surrounding her was intense, elegant, and slightly intimidating. She moved with the grace of someone used to absolute authority, and every student froze as she walked past. Even the elite supernatural students — vampires, witches, elves, and werewolves — instinctively stepped aside.

And behind her, a deeper, darker presence filled the academy: Victor Allucard. The only vampire who had earned the respect of all supernatural beings, his aura radiated dominance and control. Students whispered in hushed tones. Teachers barely dared move.

Aiden sat quietly at his table, Selene beside him, trying to act calm. He felt a pull in the air, a strange energy brushing against him, but he didn't understand it. All he knew was that the academy felt… smaller, as if a storm had arrived.

Victor's gaze swept across the room. He paused when it landed on Aiden. The aura he sensed from the boy was unlike anything he had felt in centuries — chaotic, potent, raw.

"Interesting," Victor murmured under his breath, unnoticed by the students. "He has potential… far beyond what anyone has reported."

Dracula's daughter's eyes also flicked to Aiden. "So this is the one," she said softly. "The child everyone is talking about. I've heard of him… and now I see why."

Selene, sensing the intensity of their gazes, instinctively moved closer to Aiden. Though he remained unaware, she could feel that they were not ordinary visitors — that they had power enough to shake entire realms.

Students could feel the tension. Rumors now grew wilder. Some speculated that Aiden was already a danger, others whispered he might be the most powerful being in the school, though none knew how to measure it.

Victor, calm and deliberate, walked toward the headmaster's office. Behind him, it became known that the school owner was his wife, a woman of incredible influence who had created Aurelian Academy as a neutral ground for all supernatural races. This fact silenced questions about why beings from every race were allowed to study together under one roof.

And somewhere deep inside, Aiden's chest tightened. He didn't know why, but he could feel the weight of their presence, the pull of power and recognition — and the first stirrings of a future where nothing would remain simple or safe.

The game had changed.

The stage had expanded.

And Aiden, still unaware of his true strength, was now in the crosshairs of the most powerful beings in existence.
