MOON STONE PACK.
Alpha Theron is in his chambers having a hearty conversation with his son who is sitting on his lap Prince Aiden.
"Daddy, what does it take to be an Alpha?" The prince asked. Theron chuckles.
"Do you want to be an Alpha?"
Aiden nods his head in response just then a knock resounds on the door. A guard clad in blue royal armour comes in.
With head bent the guard says "Alpha a woman with a baby in her arms asks for your audience. She refuses to come in"
"I'll be there," Theron says, placing Aiden on his feet.
"Aiden, why don't you go to bed it's past midnight, son?"
"Daddy I want to come with you. I'm going to have a younger sister?" Aiden asks with a gleam in his eyes. Theron smiles without replying and holds the little prince's hand while leaving the office.
Outside the pack's main palace, Theron and Aiden stand in front of the cloak woman. She raised her head letting him recognize the striking blue eyes of hers.
"Avonmora" Alpha Theron calls. He stares at the baby bundled up in her arms who bore a striking resemblance to her mother. However she had the same hair colour as his. The little strands of hair peeking from the sides as her emerald green eyes stare at him in fascination.
"You sent me a letter that you wouldn't make it and send someone on your stead"
Avonmora glances at the little boy next to Theoron and smiles "He looks so much like you. How are you doing dear?" She asks, placing her palm beneath his chin.
In a timid and shy voice Aiden replies "I'm fine Aunty" clutching tighter at the side of Theron legs.
"Aunty, is this my baby sister?" Aiden asks. Avonmora smiles at him and nods her head. She looks back at Theron with a serious face. "Many people seem to be after my child's life because of the power that resides inside her. I could trust no one with her safety knowing how they all have a greedy heart".
Theoron stretches his arms to collect the bundled up baby who is very quiet. "She's a calm child. I need to leave before I'm being traced here bringing trouble for you and your pack" Avonmora says, turning her back to leave but Theron stops her.
"What if they get to know she's here?" He asks with worries etched on his face.
She looks at the baby in his arms as tears run down her cheeks. Wiping the tears away with both palms she replies "You have my word Theron. That won't happen. I have placed a seal on her and as long as she doesn't find love that won't happen. But there's one thing I fear of"
She looks up at Theron with a sad smile on her lips "The seal comes with an extra power but as long as she's happy everything will be fine".
"You cursed her?" Theron asks with disbelief on his face. She turns her head to the side and glances back at him with teary eyes.
"I had to Theron. It wasn't out of will. They are after her life and now she's here, no matter how much they try they won't be able to find her because of the seal. And as I said, as long as she doesn't know that emotion called love they wouldn't find her. And as long as she's happy everything will be fine with staying in her father's pack. Right?" She glances at Theron who is looking at the little child in his arms with great reluctance to let go.
Avonmora purse a small smile on her lips "I'll take my leave now".
She says and glances behind Theron seeing a woman who is pregnant with a furious look on her face nevertheless, she smiles and bows her head a little giving respect to her knowing she's the Luna of the pack before walking into the night leaving all of them to stare at her retreating back.
Thereon tugs at Aiden's hand and turns to enter the main palace. He sees his wife Luna Ophelia standing at the doorway staring at him furiously.
"Aiden, go to your bedroom, it's really late dear, " Ophelia says calmly.
Aiden looks up at his mother. "Mom, can I spend the night with my baby sister?".
Ophelia looks at him sternly "She's not your sister and never ever call her your sister again. Now go up to your bedroom". She says in a stern voice.
Aiden pouts sulking as a maid escorts him to his bedroom to tuck him in bed.
"Ophelia I know you're upset about this but I've explained this to you. She wouldn't have done it but she had to in order to save my life she didn't know it would all lead to this. Or did you prefer I lost my life making you a widow and young Aiden fatherless? Burdening him with the duties of the pack at such a young age?"
Thereon shakes his head slowly "If you choose to term it as me being unfaithful then do so. But I want you to know that it wasn't out of will, whatever happened was out of circumstance but one thing is sure even if I were to turn back the hands of time I'll prefer whatever happened back then to happen again as I prefer keeping my life and not losing it. At least not now and not yet. I still need to spend years with the children".
He heaves a breath "you need to rest for your sake and that of the baby. Let's talk about this some other time and come to a conclusion on how we can resolve this and make things favourable to you as the Luna of this pack".
He signals to a maid to help Ophelia walk back to her room. He walks into the Palace leaving her standing at the doorway with a blank expression on her face.
