In the council of the Moon stone pack, all Alpha's and their Luna's are all present including the king of all Alpha's. The king of Alpha who is seated at the head of the table says "Thank you for being a good host to all of us present here today Alpha Zev. As we all know today, which happens to be the coming of age ceremony of one of the princesses of this pack, the Moon goddess has also chosen to bless the unmated ones with their mates".
The King of Alpha aide brings a scroll and places it in front of him, before stepping backwards.
King Darius, the king of Alpha opens the scroll and reads its content.
He clears his throat and says "My main aim for holding this meeting at this crucial time is regarding the feud between the Vampires and the werewolves". He says looking at all the Alpha's and Luna's pointedly.
At this Alpha Damien the Alpha of Red crest pack speaks up "I'll really appreciate it if we can all come to a conclusion. We can't possibly have a war with the Vampires. Being wolves I can say we are at a disadvantage in our wolf form against them".
King Darius stares at Alpha Damien "What do you imply Damien?" He asked.
Damien leans back into his chair as all eyes are focused on him. He says "The vampires are known for hunting as they have good skills in that. We wolves can't utilize our full potential except in our wolf form. Of course except we, the Alpha's. If we go to a war against the Vampires it will be more to their amusement as they will see it as going hunting just to pass time which will be to our dismay".
To this all the Alpha and Luna nod their heads as what Alpha Damien has said Is nothing but the truth.
Damien continues "As for a solution to this feud I think a peace truce will be the best way to solve this".
All the Alpha agrees to Damien's suggestion.
"As much as what Damien has said Is the sole truth our problem lies in what to offer as a peace truce. We can't possibly offer anything that will diminish in months or a year because once it diminishes the truce ends".
Alpha Gideon, the Alpha of Silver crest pack says "We can't possibly offer lands to the vampires as they don't lack it. I suggest we go for a marriage alliance. Any pack with a useless omega will be married off to the Vampire king, or if you wish to have your daughters married to them it's still not a problem".
King Darius looks at his subjects seeing the way they fidget at the idea of marrying off their daughters to the Vampire king who is fearless.
"Any pack with a useless omega" he asks, settling to use an omega as the political bridge. It's evident that none would want to give out their precious daughters who are princesses as a political bridge to the vampires because they are considered to be blood sucking leeches.
"Yes we do" Luna Ophelia says with a smile curving on her lips. "My husband's unfilial daughter is of no use in our pack".
At this Theron balls his fist "What are you saying Ophelia that we give out the first princess of our pack? She's not an omega Ophelia".
"And how do you know that Alpha Theron? From what I have heard you kept her in the isolated part of the castle since she's cursed to bring misfortune to those around her. What's the use of keeping her isolated when we can send her away before she brings more misfortune to the pack". Luna Nala, Luna of the silver crest pack says.
To this Luna Xena seconds "The first princess is of age. Her coming of age ceremony wasn't celebrated to show how much you neglected your daughter Alpha Theron. And of course no woman would want to see the evidence of her husband's unfaithfulness in marriage. They would rather opt to take it away from their sight". Luna Xena the Luna of Black rose pack says.
"But what if everything happened under a circumstance". A sharp soft voice was heard.
They all turn to look at the owner, it's Damien's wife, Luna of the Red crest pack, Luna Sarai.
Damien glances at his wife seeing her eyes red. It was a secret on how she took care of the princess when she was little. But when she turned ten she was asked to stop by Theron as a compromise to his wife but by then his wife had grown so attached to the little princess. Damien holds his wife's palms comfortingly. She glances at him and he nods his head urging her to go on.
"We all know that Alpha Theron loves his wife so much and wouldn't be unfaithful. His daughter was born out of a given circumstance regarding one's life, his life to which Luna Ophelia is aware of" she says with tears brimming in her eyes as everyone turns to look at Ophelia who has a frown on her face. "She isn't a cursed child, in fact she is a blessing," Luna Adina says.
The story they all knew isn't complete. Not even her husband knew of it, talk more of the father of the child Theron. Avonmora never left like that and she wouldn't have taken care of the princess if not for the relation they both share, she couldn't bear to see her sister in the situation she was in. She knew Avonmora wanted to stay with her child but she couldn't. During her stay with the child she found out a peculiar nature from the girl which made her joyous.
She consulted Avonmora, as her sister it's easy to do. Avonmora had told her to keep it a secret from everyone so that her child wouldn't be in danger. Before she left the princess' side to not see her anymore she had told the princess to promise not to tell anyone.
Alpha Gideon scoffed "What given circumstance will lead to a husband's unfaithfulness in marriage, despite it, may I bring to your reminder that this is for the sole safety of all werewolves. How can a cursed child be a blessing? If you ask me , we are killing two birds with a stone. First is accomplishing the truce for peace and second is getting rid of the cursed princess so that we will all be free from the curse".
At this Luna Sarai couldn't keep her tears. Damien stands to take his wife away from the meeting. All the Lunas frown at Sarai's behaviour, no one likes her cause she isn't a werewolf but is a Luna which is enough to be frowned upon.
Alpha Theron balls his fist seething in rage. King Darius could see it clearly but he had no other choice. "I have sent out my word to the Vampire king, he'll be present at the mating ceremony and then further discuss the truce with him. You all may return to your respective room of rest". King Darius says.
