Chapter 21 - 21

Chapter 21: Operation Save Pepper

Sherlock appeared inside Tony's Villa. At this moment, Tony had lost all his initial pride and arrogance; he lay powerlessly on the ground like an ordinary mortal.

His face was covered in vein-like patterns, his complexion was pale, and the Arc Reactor that should have been emitting a faint blue glow from his chest was now gone.

Seeing the weakened Tony, Sherlock didn't hesitate. With a wave of his wand, the crude Arc Reactor Tony had built in the cave flew towards Sherlock.

After smashing the glass cover of the reactor, Sherlock cast a Reparo spell on the crude device.

Then, under Tony's direction, he endured the nausea and helped Tony insert the Arc Reactor into the large hole in Tony's chest.

After completing all of this, Sherlock's face was even paler than Tony's. After all, the sticky liquid filling the large hole in Tony's chest was enough to make Sherlock think of some unpleasant things.

After the Arc Reactor was placed into the large hole in Tony's chest, Tony visibly recovered to his normal appearance at an astonishing speed.

In just a short while, Tony was able to stand up, leaning on a table. He rolled his eyes at Sherlock, who was still pale, seemed a bit nauseous, and was repeatedly casting Scourgify on his hands.

"Is there any healing magic? Give me a shot quickly."

In response to Tony's request, Sherlock merely rolled his eyes and unceremoniously tossed Tony a Bai Xian Potion and a bezoar for detoxification.

After all, these things were bought with Tony's gold, so giving them back to him now was just returning what was originally his.

Looking at the dark, indescribably odorous stone in his hand, and the extremely familiar potion, Tony's face also darkened.

Casually placing the potion and the bezoar on the table, Tony suddenly became anxious as if he had just remembered something.

"Sherlock, hurry to Stark Industries! I asked Pepper to investigate Obadiah Stane's computer! Now that Obadiah Stane has brazenly appeared in my Villa and taken my Arc Reactor, it means Pepper is in danger!

Quickly use your amazing magic to save Pepper! Leave Obadiah Stane to me, I'll be there soon, hurry, hurry, move!"

Tony seemed genuinely panicked. After giving his instructions, he ran like a whirlwind towards the Underground Room.

Watching Tony disappear, Sherlock could only sigh helplessly. If nothing unexpected happened, his future aunt, Pepper, should currently be with Coulson, the village chief of the Novice Village .

If possible, Sherlock truly didn't want to appear in front of those S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. After all, Nick Fury's tenacious nature was truly annoying.

But that was his future aunt, and honestly, Sherlock had a very good impression of Pepper. In the end, accompanied by a sigh, he put on the helmet Tony had given him.

After putting on the helmet, Sherlock waved the wand in his hand, and a black hooded cloak and a pure black combat suit appeared on Sherlock's body.

Compared to the one from Kamar-Taj, this one was less chuunibyou and more mysterious.

Gently wiping his hand across the helmet, a dense black mist appeared within Sherlock's hood, obscuring the highly futuristic helmet Tony had given him.

After making all the preparations, Sherlock then ordered Jarvis to locate Pepper. As a huge 3D projection appeared inside Sherlock's helmet, Sherlock clearly saw the rapidly moving red dot within Stark Industries.

Without the slightest hesitation, Sherlock merely waved the wand in his hand, and his entire figure disappeared from Tony's Villa with a sound of spatial distortion.

When Sherlock reappeared, he was standing in a passageway filled with pipes. Sherlock could even hear the loud noise of Iron Monger destroying things not far away.

Without hesitation, Sherlock began running towards the red dot representing Pepper. After just a few turns, Sherlock saw Pepper, dressed in an office suit, in a state of panic.

Next to Pepper was Coulson, the village chief of the Novice Village , with a receding hairline, who was trying his best to pull Pepper away.

Behind the two was Iron Monger, entirely made of steel, looking like a giant steel rhinoceros, chasing them.

Pepper and Coulson also spotted Sherlock, who was running rapidly towards them from ahead. Before Coulson could even raise his pistol, a red light struck Coulson.

As the red light hit, Coulson felt as if the pistol in his hand had suddenly come alive, struggling in his grip. In less than a second, the pistol flew out of his control.

With the disappearance of his only weapon, Coulson's face, which had been somewhat flushed from intense exertion, suddenly turned much paler. With Iron Monger pursuing him from behind and an unknown person with strange abilities appearing in front, Coulson even thought his career was over.

Sherlock, however, clearly didn't think that much. The reason he used Expelliarmus on Coulson was simply because Coulson had raised his gun at him. In an emergency, Sherlock didn't have time to worry about this village chief of the Novice Village .

After disarming Coulson, Sherlock's wand didn't stop. Spells of impediment were cast from Sherlock's wand, flying towards the charging Iron Monger.

It proved to be very effective. Iron Monger, who had been charging like a rhinoceros, began to stumble and falter under the slowing effects of Sherlock's spells.

This gave Sherlock, Pepper, and Coulson time to meet up, although Pepper and Coulson didn't know who this mysterious person was.

However, seeing him attack Obadiah Stane behind them, the two could roughly determine that this person was not an enemy.

What the two didn't expect was that the mysterious person, upon approaching them, instantly grabbed their shoulders with both hands.

The next second, the two felt as if they had been crammed into a twisted, extremely narrow rubber tube. When they regained consciousness, they found themselves on the rooftop of Stark Industries.
