Chapter 6 - Unscheduled Chaos

At 10:04 p.m, Suzy entered Holigon Bar and turned to the second floor. It's Saturday night, and Holigon was on fire. Loud music, gleaming lights, and the smell of wine filled the air. She tucked a signed contract into her pocket and stood near the glass railing, watching the crowd enjoying themselves. The vibration of music thumping through her soles.

Right down, A group of local punks was hassling a girl. Before she could signal the security, a familiar figure stepped into the scene.

"Jihoon," Suzy murmured, a grin tugging her lips. This is going to be entertaining.

"Stay out of our business, old man!" One of the boys sneered, moving forward. The girl hid behind Jihoon.

"It's our matter, kid. We are boys, and you are defaming our gender." Jihoon said with a smile. The boys looked at each other and burst into laughter. "Check it out. Isn't he the legendary impotent Jihoon?" One of them shoved a hand on Jihoon's shoulder. "Go play with your dolls, baby-face."

"Impotent?" Suzy murmured under her breath.

"look Man," the lead boy sneered and shoved Jihoon again. "You can't have a girl, it doesn't mean you ruin others' moods. Send her here." The girl tightened her grip on Jihoon's shoulder.

Jihoon chuckled, "If being potent is like you, I'd rather stay impotent. At least, she feels safer around me." he shrugged off.

A short boy throw bottle towards Jihoon. The glass shattered against the wall as he bent down, escaping by an inch. Bin guards were not around. "Boy, let's talk. Fighting is bad and also prohibited in here," he pointed out at the banned poster. A Tall boy throws a punch straight at his face. "Ah," Jihoon groaned in pain.

"Girl, you should go," Jihoon said, and the girl ran away. One of boy tried to chase her, but Jihoon grabbed him by his tie. "Not until I am here," he smirked and threw a punch that dropped the boy to the ground. But the numbers were against him. They attacked him, pinning his arms. Short one targeted his stomach for boxing practice.

"Useless!" Suzy sighed. She jumped down from the railing and crashed through the glass table in the center of the pit. A sudden glass burst grabbed the attention of the crowd. Music cut off.

"Need a hand, Hero?" Suzy asked. Jihoon stared at her in daze, blood trickling from his lips. He didn't recognize her. She was in a black leather jacket and pants. Suzy picked a chopstick from the table beside her and made her hair into a messy bun.

"DJ! drop the beat!"

On her will, bass slammed back. She moved like a ghost and punched one boy. Then pulled Jihoon closer until her arm locked around his waist. Sudden intimacy made her breath hitch. Before the boys could strike, she swayed bin with her and kicked the boy. Jihoon's eyes widened, "Wow!" he mumbled.

"Next time, if you wanna be a hero, learn to throw punches first," Suzy said, breaking the bottle on the boy's head without looking at it.

"But I still... saved her," Jihoon said, trying to catch his breath.

Suzy didn't argue. She twisted the last guy's arm and dislocated his shoulder.

"Then you need a babysitter." She mocked. Bar's manager finally arrived, like a cop who came after the crime was done.

Jihoon settled expenses and turned to Suzy, "That wasn't needed... but thanks!" Suzy rolled her eyes and grabbed an ice cube from the bucket, and pressed it hard on his bruised lip. He hissed in pain.

"If you are willing to die, make sure next time I am not there!" Suzy snapped at him and vanished into the crowd.

The next day, Sun was too loud for Se-Yeon's liking. She was signing some files when she heard, "Sir, you can't meet her until you have an appointment." Suzy was explaining to someone. Seo-Yeon ignored that it was a daily drama, but she flinched when the office door thudded open.

"Jeon-Woo?" She wasn't expecting him. He strolled in like he owned this building. Suzy tried to stop him, but his detailed wall of black suits blocked her. Jeon-Woo stepped towards Seo-Yeon's table and sat in front of her.

"Morning, Ms. Yeon." He said in a calm tone.

Seo-Yeon sat up straight. "Mr. Jeon-Woo, a successful businessman understood how appoitment work. Or is 'professionalism' too big word for you?" The corner of her mouth lifted, and she stressed 'professionalism.'

Jeon-Woo tilted his head, "Oh, really?" he bent a little, "I don't wait for people, they wait for me." He said sarcastically and smiled. His so-called smile that Seo-Yeon hates the most.

"What brings you here?" Seo-Yeon asked bluntly.

He placed a hand on his chest, "You shattered my poor heart into pieces." A guard came forward and placed a torn note on the table. Seo-Yeon glared at him.

What! Is this some kind of joke? Is he a psycho? He broke in for this trash. She was at the end of her wits. Seo-Yeon slammed on the table and stood.

"Look, Mr. Woo, you might have a lot of free time, but I don't. If you keep bringing this up, I swear I'll file a report of harassment, trespassing, and bullying." She burst at once on Jeon-Woo. Jeon-Woo's heart skipped a beat.

It's not a lie; he was stunned by Seo-Yeon's bravery. He was looking at her blankly. "Mr.Woo!" She snapped him back to reality.

Jeon-Woo cleared his throat and placed a file before Seo-Yeon. It was a contract of the Aurora Project. She raised her brow. Jeon-Woo stood and slipped his hand in pants pocket. "Page no.5, Clause no. 09 stated that Kim and Jeon will work together on this project at the same place and time. You signed it, but didn't read it?" he turned towards Seo-Yeon, but Suzy stood before him. So he turned to the glass wall.

Seo-Yeon hurriedly opened the file. 'How is this possible?' Her blood ran cold. Her gaze met Suzy's.
