We arrive at Danny's house and find him counting stacks of money.
This will take a while to get use to.
"Hey..."
He stops counting as soon as he sets his eyes on me.
"Calithea...I'm..." I immediately rush over and hug him tighter than I intended to.
"I'm sorry."
"I know."
We let go and a huge sense of relief fills.
"You're an a*s" I tease playfully shoving his shoulder.
"And you still have a ginormous head."He teases back making me smile.
Carlos must notice my focus shift from Danny to the money in front of him because he immediately asks, "Does that mean I'm forgiven too?"
He then opens his arms waiting for a hug while pouting his lips and batting his eyelashes.
"Yes."I laugh giving him a hug.
He smells good and his hugs are warm.His heartbeat is steady...I don't want to let go.
*cough cough*
I realize him and I are still holding each other and let go instantly.
He smiles at me then helps Danny count the money.
I have this urge to ask about how they got it but I don't think I wanna know.
"Okay well,you guys busy tonight?"
"Not really.Unless there's last minute business we need to take care of."
Hearing those words makes me feel uneasy.Especially because their guns are just chilling on the table in front of us like it's nothing.
"Okay well,you up for pizza and binge watching The Flash later?" I ask sounding as cheerful as possible.
"Sure Calithea."Carlos responds on their behalf with a smile.
He's so dreamy wtf!How have I not noticed all these years?
Must be because his personality was trash so his looks automatically were too.
"Yeah what he said."Danny adds.
"Alright well, I'm gonna head home to change."
"Oh yeah you look like such a girl today what happened?Did Barbie visit you in your dreams last night or something?You can borrow my clothes if you want."Danny offers.
"I'm good.Thanks."I laugh
I open the door and a blast of wind almost knocks me down so I close the door seconds later.
Great.
"Are you okay!?"
When I walk back to the living room,the guys land their eyes on my hair and freeze.
Probably looks like a bird's nest.
"Don't say a word."I warn then disappear into the hallway.
"I'll be changing in your room Danniel so don't come up here!"I say before closing the door.
Carlos' POV
"I see the way you look at her man."
"What do you mean?"
"Whatever.Just don't blow it."He teases.
"I just think she's beautiful.No harm done right?"
"I'm not about to third wheel with you two.Fuck that shit." We both laugh.
"Who you going to invite over?A blonde?Brunette?Afro?Red head?"I tease.
"No.Britney."He says not making eye contact.
"Britney?No way!Big tits Britney?"
He gives me a deadly glare causing me to choke on my saliva and laughs.
"Yeah man.I think she's...great."He says barely loud enough for me to hear.

"So what is this like a double date or something?You know Calithea will strangle her the second she sees her enter the front door right?"I warn.

He then disappears from the living room with his phone in his hand.
