Chapter 1 - Prologue - The Call of the Stars

The sound of clashing manifestations echoed throughout the city, even through the small apartment's television where Akira sat. He perched on the edge of the sofa, eyes glued to the screen as a blue flash tore through the air and a colossal energy dragon swept across the arena.

In the center stood the world's Top 1, known as the "Blue Dragon", executing a flawless maneuver. Facing him, a young fighter recently ranked top 23, fresh from a minor tournament, looked like a puppet struggling against invisible strings. Every move was measured, calculated… yet the dragon surpassed him with terrifying elegance.

Akira swallowed hard, unable to look away.

—I want… to be there someday… I want… I want to be like him… —he muttered almost unconsciously.

The battle continued, and the Blue Dragon's inevitable victory seemed certain. Every strike, every flash of energy, was a symphony of perfection that made Akira's heart pound.

The world had changed quietly over the years. Manifestations—unique abilities each person could develop—were no longer just rumors or legends. They were recognized, regulated, and celebrated, and competitions determined prestige, power, and influence. Even at just eight years old, Akira felt the pull of this extraordinary world, as if it were calling him directly.

As the final credits of the match faded, a spark ignited in his chest. It didn't matter how or when—he wanted to enter that world of manifestations, tournaments, and power. He wanted to feel the adrenaline of competition, the thrill of discovering unique abilities… and, above all, to become someone capable of changing the outcome of a fight with a single thought.

Suddenly, the television clicked off, and the room fell silent.

—Time for bed, Akira. You have school tomorrow —his mother called from the kitchen.

—Mom… I want to become a Manifestor… —he whispered, almost afraid she would laugh.

She appeared in the doorway, softening her expression. A mixture of surprise and affection crossed her face.

—Well, sweetheart… you will one day. But for now, it's time to sleep.

Akira smiled, excitement still burning inside him. As he climbed into bed, he stared at the ceiling, imagining battles, powers, and the endless possibilities that awaited. The world of Manifestations wasn't just a spectacle; it was a calling. A calling he could not ignore.
