Unknown pov~~
Alice was home alone on Halloween night when she heard a knock at the door. She went to see who it was and saw her childhood best friend Felix, but he looked paler than usual, though his face looked kind. She was still fantasizing over his look when he broke the silence.
"Hey... I'm hungry. Is there anything to eat?"
"Hey, sure, what would you like to eat?" She answered still standing at the door unaware that he was still outside.
His eyes darted nervously around the room, his fangs slightly visible as he spoke.
"Blood. I need human blood to survive"
"Huh?" He took a step closer but she subconsciously took a step back, his expression was pained but determined.
"I'm not a monster, I only take what is offered. Please, I promise I won't hurt you".
"Wait...I don't understand, why are your canines becoming abnormally long, is this your Halloween costume, because it's really working. For one there I thought you were a vampire" She said chuckling nervously.
"I'm a vampire, I've been hiding it from you all this time. I never meant to scare you like this".
"Wait, you are serious? And you want to feed on me?" She asked, looking so shocked but his eyes were filled with desperation as he rang his hand through his hair.
"I know it sounds crazy, but I've been trying to find a human who doesn't taste like... Well, like the others. You are different Alice, you are kind and warm".
She hesitated for a while before stepping aside to let him in when she realised he was still standing, but what's the worst that could happen, he has been her childhood, friend and he never hurt her so why would he do that now? And besides she's eighteen and she lives alone so she could allow anyone into her home.
"Mm okay, promise you won't kill me." He stepped inside, still unsure of what to do when she tilted her head slightly to give him access to her neck, she knew how vampires were from the novels she had read, when they wanted something, especially when it comes to blood they will get it no matter what. So why being stubborn when she could just allow him to take a small amount of her blood in peace because he looked like a starved child. He moved behind her, his breath cool against her skin, his fingers gently guide her head to the side as he said some words of encouragement.
"You are so brave, thank you for trusting me"
Alice's pov~~
I slowly tilted my head to allow him to gain access to my neck, then he moved behind me, his breath fanning my neck as he was about to sink his fangs into my skin I said something and he paused.
"Just a little amount okay?" He nodded as his fangs sank into my skin, and I shivered at the contact.
"Just a little I promise it won't hurt much. Hold still for me" After a while, I felt my body becoming lighter and my eyelids became heavy threatening to close.
"Felix, it's okay, I've lost tons of blood!" Instead of stopping, his grip on me tightened, I was so scared that I could only whisper as I felt my life being drained from me as tears ran down my cheeks.
"F... Felix, I'm going to die at this range please stop" He froze, his fangs still piercing my skin. He pulled back immediately.
"No! No, no, no! I'm sorry! I lost control for a moment."
"Yeah, it's fine" I smiled as I slumped to the floor but he caught me. He cradled me gently, panic was evident in his eyes as he checked my pulse.
"You are not fine! You're losing too much blood. I need to stop the bleeding ". My eyes slowly closed as I lost consciousness. He was so scared that he frantically searched for something to apply pressure to the wound, his hands shaking as he held me.
"No, no, no! Please wake up! I didn't mean for this to happen, I'm so sorry".
